I wanted to like the restaurant but really didn't. It wasn't even like a business really more like a pop up shop. There were a few guys in there ordering when I arrived and from their conversation with the guy taking orders. it seemed like it was their first time there too. The guy taking orders was very nice, took time to explain the menu. I took advantage of the opportunity to listen because this was my first time here too. However apparently the menu had changed though another woman who arrived after me had been there before ordered something and the person taking her order told her all that had changed with the item from when she previously had ordered it. They had a bunch of shastas, la croix and flat water in a refrigerator that looked like it had been obtained from another business. They had a grandma curtain hanging to divide the kitchen space from the front. I wanted to order coffee that was on the menu. They told me they only had instant and had some Folgers or something next to the register. The food was a little strange. I ordered a croissant sandwich but the croissant was like in a hotdog bun shape and stuffed with a crumbled egg mixture that apparently had bacon, hash brown bits and cheese all mixed together. It was ok but not what I expected. Anyway the whole thing was a little strange. Expanding upon my review in response to the owner's feedback. Yelp offers business owners and managers a chance to enhance their business through input from the community. I provided an honest assessment without resorting to personal attacks in a public platform. It is regrettable that you perceive it differently. My suggestion, remain open to feedback! read more

The people working here were so nice and gave us such a warm welcome since it was our first time coming to curb grill. This place is so close to my house and I finally got a chance to enjoy their smashburger. It was dinnertime and I called in my order and it was ready within 7 minutes. I had a nice chat with Albert, who is an owner with his Dad who was the chef. Nice clean place, the food was hot and delicious. Albert and his dad (and perhaps a cousin or two depending on the day) are incredible and truly passionate about feeding people. Albert knows all his regulars and love to chat with new customers. It's a community hub in a food truck and a visit to Curbgrill feels like a hug. Burritos are PHAT. We're talking LOADED with meat, cheese and eggs. Always served warm so when you crack into your burrito, that heavenly steam comes seeping out. Their smash burgers are also amazing, crispy edges on the patty, soft bun, melty cheese...yum yum yum. The food here is authentic and excellent. I had the spaghetti alla bolognese, which I have at every Italian restaurant, and it was one of the best. The noodles tasted authentic and were cooked perfectly. The sauce was a sensational combination of ground meat and tomatoes. One person I was dining with got the salmon pesto fettuccine. The pesto sauce was amazing- they add cream to it which is a perfect addition. All the food was great, service was excellent, and atmosphere great. The neighborhood is also fabulous- one of my favorite places to walk around downtown. read more

I really wanted this place to be good, it's only 5 mins from the house and we have no places this close that make a breakfast burrito or bowl. I got the steak and sausage bowl and a bacon and sausage burrito but the contents of both were chopped so fine (almost puréed) that I could not taste the individual ingredients in either. There is just no mouthfeel and I had to use all of the sauces that came with both items to add flavor. It's weird how I've never been to this spot before since I live in Montrose. I was looking for on my phone for nearby food to decide what I wanted to grab. Curbgrill showed up and I thought "How come I haven't tried this spot? Smash burgers sound good". I'm really happy I did. As I was eating I kept thinking "This is delicious!" This place is very yummy! I'm a sucker for a smash-burger, and so is my boyfriend - he is OBSESSED with this place. While the interior is small, the owner comes out and checks on everything. I do wish they were a bit bigger, even though they are double pattied, I'm left feeling like I could eat half of one more (we might just do that next time!) Ordered a custom with chorizo and bacon, one favorite and 2 special breakfast burrito and order of 8 wings combo - they didn't put the fries in the combo that we paid for, just wings, celery and a soda. One person from our group enjoyed the favorite with easy hashbrowns. The others were a bit dry. Maybe this place just needs more time to get bigger staff but we waited far too long to not receive our complete order and dry meat. You could feel the tension in the restaurant. You could hear the staff arguing and stressing out in the back and the customers were all annoyed waiting so long. I will say they were nice and offered us a free soda.
