The Curbgrill doses out amazing breakfast burritos with egg, cheese, hashbrown, and your choice of two meats for less than $15.00 bucks. Every bite was juicy and gushing with cheese. Your order also comes with in-house sauses, which my favorite was the burger sause. The owner was very helpful and friendly and provided excellent service. I had a chance to speak with him, and apparently, he had a taco truck that ranked number 1 in LA. Ordered a custom with chorizo and bacon, one favorite and 2 special breakfast burrito and order of 8 wings combo - they didn't put the fries in the combo that we paid for, just wings, celery and a soda. One person from our group enjoyed the favorite with easy hashbrowns. The others were a bit dry. Maybe this place just needs more time to get bigger staff but we waited far too long to not receive our complete order and dry meat. You could feel the tension in the restaurant. You could hear the staff arguing and stressing out in the back and the customers were all annoyed waiting so long. I will say they were nice and offered us a free soda. This truck is parked in front of Ralph's supermarket which is a walking distance from my house. You would easily find them along Buenavista at the corner of victory. Seen them, passed by them numerous times yet I never stopped to try them until a yelp event for elites brought us here. I'd tried their smash burger made from scratch. The burger had the usual add ons of cheese, pickles, tangy sauce on a soft bun. I was given a choice between fresh or grilled onions. I chose the latter and I recommend for you to do the same. Service is top notch. Albert is so friendly by keeping small talks with customers while waiting for their order. He knows regular customers by name. I stopped by Curbgrill for their breakfast burritos. It's highly rated on Yelp so I thought why not give it a try. The owner of this food truck is very nice and personable. And prices are reasonable. Curbgrill's breakfast burritos and salsa kinda remind me of the Corner Cottage's version where the breakfast burritos are more of a "breakfast hash" and the salsa is like a "jalapeño salsa". If you like breakfast hash versions of breakfast burritos then give this food truck a try. Personally I don't think these were the BEST breakfast burritos. I got a couple of custom burritos: Steak and Bacon; the other one Bacon and Sausage. Definitely not bad, but not the best. The steak one was way too salty and the jalapeño salsa tasted salty as well. I don't mind chopped up bacon but perhaps making it more crispy would help texture wise. Yes, Breakfast Burritos are normally salty, so perhaps a milder cheese and tweak on the Jalapeño pico would do the trick. For now 3 stars reflect my experience. read more

Best brunch in California? Eh, far from it. It's not bad but they need a LOT of improvement to really make it worthwhile for a return. I initially thought about giving this place four stars but after reevaluating the outcome of my "brunch" I think three is a more deserving number. I stopped by Friday around 9:00am and although I was second in line with a few people strolling in after, it took about 25 minutes to get my burrito. I ordered the custom with steak and bacon which came to $12. The young guy working the ordering window really needs to learn some customer service skills. Being Armenian, I know that "bro" tone he gives is not cool or service friendly. I even wanted to leave a tip and he seemed offended that I even offered. The ordering system is a bit odd too, they don't take payment when you order, nor when you get your food. At a random moment the same guy will call you over to pay for your food in between waiitng. The burrito is massive, no doubt about it. They fill it to the brim with all the filling and you don't get that end of the tortilla folded up without any filling, this burrito really was filled from end to end. The burrito had a lot of good things going for it - well toasted and soft tortilla, fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and tender steak. Although it was cheesy and gooey, they use American cheese, which has a really distinct and artificial flavor so it throws off the vibe of the burrito. I love my cheese and always wish places used more, but that's when they use something real. Here it leaves a bad taste while you eat. The burrito is also insanely salty, which you realize more after eating when you're bloated and dying for water. The last issue is the salsa. It really has no flavor other than the spiciness but for a burrito or even other items like this, the salsa isn't a good pairing. It needs more of a crema, spicy mayo, or even a mild roja or similar salsa. And I like my spice but it needs flavor instead of just straight jalapeno burns. I wouldn't mind going back if things change but I wouldn't recommend this as an immediate visit or in a top priority. read more

Walking past Curbgrill outside a grocery store in Burbank you'd have no idea what you're in for. With a line developing pretty quickly around lunch, it seems the secret is out. This food truck is absolutely delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly, while working so hard to pump out large smashburger quantities very quickly. Have tried a smashburger and fries, as well as the breakfast burrito. Both were good portion sizes and absolutely delicious. And Curbgrill didn't disappoint, the green sauce the burrito comes with is so we asked for another package. My husband said the burrito filling was super soft and different from other burritos he's tried We also got a smash burger combo that comes with fries and a drink. The person who helped me was really cool and gave us a huge side of fries, both grilled and fresh onions on the smash burger, and an extra canned beverage! That's some good service! It seems this place has gotten quite the publicity blitz as of late, though glad it didn't affect the wait the day I tried it. Went mid morning and there were 2 people waiting for their orders and 1 more person who came after me. Each order is make fresh to order so be sure to plan for a little bit of time as it is just one griddle on a truck. Onto the food. The breakfast burrito was a bit smaller in size than I would expect for the price point ($12), as almost every other option in the city is well below that. The burrito was very well mixed and each bite gave you your chosen meats along with potato, egg, and cheese. The flavor overall left a bit to be desired as I felt it was a bit bland, though the provided sauce did help. For all the hype, I was expecting to be wowed and was left underwhelmed. This definitely is not the top breakfast burrito in town and I have to question those that think this tops the other options available. While it is good, it does not justify the premium price, which seems to have gone up recently, whether based on cost of goods or the sudden publicity blitz. I'm not even finished eating and I needed to get this review out. The guys are friendly. The wait wasn't bad in my case and if there's a long wait, it's not intentional. There is some street parking near the truck, but it may be easier to park inside of the Ralph's lot and hop the wall or walk around. My food is hot and REAL GOOD. I had to eat this fresh in the Ralph's parking lot. That first bite in a burrito that you've never tried before is always the most exciting. I put a little of their spicy green salsa and went for it. My mouth was hit with an explosion of flavor and texture. I got a good chew from the tortilla, some creamy and mushiness from the eggs, meat overload and then you're hit with this giant smack of flavor from the heat of the salsa and salty flavor to tie everything together. That's the first bite. As you get more and more of the salsa you'll realize it's very salty. I would recommend lowering the salt content on the salsa and you'll have a Percy recipe. read more
