Duster is great! No idea how I found his small business, but glad I did. He is prompt, professional, friendly, and personable. I am embarrassed to say we had 9 rims total for him to do LOL (4 of which from a newly bought used truck that had the damage prior is all I can use as an excuse). Nevertheless, he arrived at my house at 9am and left around 3pm...9 rims done, all to my perfection, and definitely a daily record for him. He surpassed my expectations and definitely worth the time and money compared to doing it myself (which I have plenty in the past). Pictures do not do it justice, but provided as some proof. We unfortunately had some curb rash on our Tesla and I messages a few services to get estimates. The other services replied with the cost only. Curbside Wheel Repair replied not only describing what steps they would take to repair it, they also gave a very competitive estimate, and said they'd come to our house to do it for no extra charge. So it seemed the choice was a no brainer and I scheduled an appointment. Duster texted a reminder the night before the appointment, showed up on time if not a little early, and did an amazing job. I honestly can't see that the wheel ever had curb rash. Not only is he hardworking and skilled, he's also a super nice and fun person! Wow! I thought the reviews calling Duster a "magician" were overdoing it, but after having him repair a 3-4 inch strip of curb rash on my new car this morning I must wholeheartedly agree! There is no trace of the curb rash now and the paint match is perfect. And the mobile service with no wheel or tire removal necessary is a huge plus. I'd put a righteous rash on one of my black-painted rims, and it was pretty annoying to look at. I mean, regular aluminum rims, you have to look for it, but aluminum showing through black is pretty obvious. Duster arrived exactly on time and got right to work. Before starting work, he described the repair process and warned that it was a repair; it'd look better, but it wasn't going to be perfect. However, it ended up looking fantastic, and even on extremely close inspection you'd be hard-pressed to even know where the damage was. Super nice guy; very personable. In the span of 24 hours, I did a very stupid thing, followed by a very smart thing. I was paying more attention to the mini skirted pedestrian while making a right turn, and I was only warned how close I was to the curb by that scratching noise of rim versus curb. How stupid. My review is long overdue! When I first hit up Kris, he was going on vacation but was still responsive. I told him that I curb rashed my fiancées new Lexus SUV. Update* Chris contacted me and came back and touched up the paint and it looks great, amazing customer service. Would refer his services to anybody needing scratch repairs Great service, awesome price, partly satisfied. Had a ugly curb rash on my matte Tiguan rims, called Curbside and got an appointment for a week later. Chris arrived a couple minutes early and got right to work. Appreciate that. The end result was good, but slightly disappointing. The rash was fixed but the paint is a little sloppy. So now there's silver paint on my black paint. The job took about 25-30 minutes to complete, I feel like the paint could have been done with way better detail if the job hadn't been rushed. Over all, the rash looks way better, but at the cost of the paint on my rim. With that being said, you can only tell that the paint is off if you really take a hard look. The average person walking by probably won't notice. If I wasn't so sad that my black paint wasn't sacrificed for the over all damage it would be 5 stars. read more
