Decided to try out Curfew out with some friends last week, it's a great spot if you're wanting to go out downtown and not West 7th! We loved the atmosphere and creative drink menu that was a lot different than other bars we had been to in the area. Our bartender was great too! Great music and a cool space overall. This bar has horrible management. I attended a private event and lost a valuable piece of jewelry. I wrote no less than ten emails and called at least ten times for someone to verify that I reported the missing item at the vent the night of and returned before I left tow. Bryan Lee refused to help. He did not investigate nor did he even check with the bar tender. I wouldn't darken the door of this dungeon. It is very dirty. Drinks are terrible and the food is about as par as the horrible management. Go elsewhere where they actually have a little pride in their business. read more

Heard about this place for a while and finally decided to go. Very cool concept but the service was absolutely terrible. Took over 30 minutes to get a drink and in that time frame we saw multiple tables get up and leave due to the slow service. I'm so glad I found this hidden gem during COVID. I went there last weekend with two girlfriends and had a great time. The space has plenty of room to social distance and everyone there seemed to be respectful about that. The bartender, David, made the most delicious cocktails and the music was on point. I have never been but was not given the chance to. Last weekend I tried to get in with 3 black Latinos, one being my boyfriend. The first one to show ID (the oldest of all of us), had a temporary ID. The bouncer immediately told him it was not acceptable and needed another picture ID not on paper. After some back and forth, the bouncer told us to "get off his door step" and "vaya con Dios." I was trying to get my boyfriend to leave the scene, and all I heard was the bouncer call us "monkeys." Its a shame that establishments like this, that seem elevated and sophisticated, see people of color and disrespect so easily. Every time I call to speak to the manager about this, the manager happens to be gone for 2 more hours or so. Marvin did clarify when I called, however, that temporary IDs on paper are valid with something else like a debit or credit card that verifies the name. Therefore, the bouncer chose to not allow us in off of biases and not his 24 years of experience. read more
