Really good service and appetizers! I recommend the Amarillo ceviche and tequila old fashioned

I visited Toro Toro this week for my wedding anniversary. He chose Toro Toro for the tomahawk. Unfortunately they were sold out, but the ribeye was a decent replacement. It was marbled, but bordered the line of being too fatty. The dessert was incredible especially the churros which is a dish that I never order! The empanadas are a must try dish both sweet and savory. I would skip the kale salad and tuna ceviche. The tuna was very bright, not the dark rich color and texture of tuna I prefer. The salad looks nice, but it was dry and I'm someone who doesn't need a lot of dressing. The pieces were longer than the side plates so I gave up on the salad. This is a beautiful space. The decor is well thought out with elements of Texas sprinkled throughout. Seating can be intimate or accommodate large parties. The service was great, it made what was becoming a 3 star experience feel like 4 stars.

I had seen Toro toro as a recommendation off a local foodie page. I figured I try it out due to the raving reviews. It was about a 40 minute drive and your heading to downton Fort Worth. It seemed like an elevated resturant you'd like to celebrate a special meal with loved ones. They do offer a happy hour so we were able to save a dollar or so but for the most part the menu is pricey. My rating is based off sides. I'm not bothered by spending more money or purchasing a side separately however, when it's not cooked well or missing ingredients it makes the meal a little disconnected. This may be due to expecting more from a "nicer" place but the truth is it will always come down to quality and this it was lacking this evening. What we ordered Amarillo Ceviche $22.00 ahi tuna, ají amarillo, leche de tigre, mango, cucumber, red onion - this appetizer was phenomenal we were all fighting for the last bite everything was do fresh and naturally a light app No complaints on our protein it was cooked to our preference 10oz Wagyu Picanha $58.00 14oz Prime Ribeye $68.00 Sides are sold separately Pork Belly Mac & Cheese $17.00. - Pork Belly and chorizo were subtle but loved the cheese and pasta Roasted Heirloom Carrots $17.00 - Were so roasted there was hardly any carrots

What should have been a special birthday dinner for 10 friends turned into a disappointing experience due entirely to our server's attitude and her lack of professionalism. We waited nearly 40 minutes for drink orders to be taken and close to an hour before placing our food order. Throughout the evening, simple requests were met with rudeness, impatience, and dismissive responses. After speaking with management, there was little acknowledgment of the poor service and no sincere apology. While a small discount was offered, it did not make up for an evening that was negatively impacted from start to finish. As a former server myself, I understand that everyone has difficult days, but guests should never bear the burden of them. We came expecting a memorable celebration at a restaurant we genuinely enjoy. Unfortunately, the service fell far below the standard that the food and reputation of this establishment deserve.

This place is excellent. The meat was excellent. I highly recommend sharing the churrasco, ceviche, carrots and brussel sprouts. The smoked bison was also brought to us and was excellent. Everything was nicely grilled. The drinks were good and the service was attentive and friendly. We would absolutely return.

Great spot for a drink in town. Drink was delicious, guacamole also very good as was the bison appetizer. Entrées and device were OK. Overall, had a nice time would probably just choose to go back there for the bar/apps next time, but would definitely go back.

Wow wow wow. I am amazed with what I just ate. Food: I had the churrasco and eggs. The different flavor profiles on this were amazing. And to top it off, one of the best cuts of meat I've had in a long time. The flavor was insane! Drink: Old fashioned was on point Service: Julian is the GM and also was covering the bar. Friendliest guy you could imagine. Recommended the food. Ambiance: It's the Worthington. Come on!

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal at Toro Toro. Even as a hotel lobby restaurant, once inside it had a great atmosphere. Service from Kira and crew was perfect, including her recommendations. Food was tasty across the board. The complimentary valet parking, especially now that Fort Worth no longer has free parking garages, was an added benefit.

My husband and I went to Toro Toro on Feb 27th, but only had time for appetizers because we had a show to catch. The food and service was exceptional. Truly a tease, so we'll be back to get the full experience.

Inside The Worthington Renaissance hotel, best to valet your vehicle and get your ticket validated at the hostess station. Our party of 3 arrived on a Sunday around 5:15 without a reservation and were seated right away. Bea was our server; she was friendly and efficient. My Smoking Bull old fashioned and Ribeye Chicharrón were so delicious. The steak was flavorful and tender and the components blended nicely together.

I can confidently say this was the best brunch of my life! Brunch is a four course meal where you only select your entree (the third course). Your tastebuds will be delighted with every course, plus you have so many dishes to taste, but you have to pace yourself and only sample items along the way so you can get to the fourth and final dessert course. The chef also came out to the table towards the end of the meal to talk to us and we had such a pleasant conversation! If I could give more than five stars, I would. Everything was exceptional! I also had leftovers for days! This restaurant is part of an upscale Marriott Renaissance hotel and an experience everyone should try at least once in their lifetime.

Came here to celebrate a successful weekend. My wagyu picanha was cooked to the medium rare temp I had requested and was seasoned perfectly. The guacamole was good but not the best I've had. The truffle fries were decent but didn't blow me away. The spectacle of the la bomba dessert was fun while the dessert itself was yummy. The three ice cream flavors were each different, creamy and the right level of sweetness. The fruit complemented the chocolate shell as well. It did take some time for our server to come back around to us, but she was friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the menu. Out was really cool to see the massive grill when you walk through the restaurant. I'd probably come back for the dessert.

Nice hotel restaurant right in the Renaissance hotel lobby, we were seated right away on a Saturday night without reservations for a table of two. We ordered the Amarillo ceviche and sweet corn empanadas to start. Both good, I preferred the ceviche but there was a lot going on flavor wise with the empanadas that was interesting - aji Amarillo, guac and chimichurri. I liked that the ceviche came with some thin slice and salted banana chips. Cusco chicken plate had a great flavor! Smoky and spiced which paired well with the potatoes and acidity of the criolla. Picanha was cooked just right and great with the chimi. Would recommend for a nice date night out downtown.

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.

We poke our heads in (accidentally going through the exit door. the front door is well camouflaged) and just found a wonderful very chilled out bar. Haven't been to a speakeasy in a long time. It was dark lighting with ambient black lights and string lights to keep it dim but you wont struggle to see through. Music was not super loud and the chairs were incredibly comfortable and the whole place was laid out to just have drinks and lounge while talking with friends. No food, which is fine. You have plenty of options on the same block for that. This place is just for drinks and conversation. The seasonal menu was awesome. It iss a bar so they of course can make anything you request if you don't want a specialty cocktail. I got my favorite, a moscow mule but they had a brazilian mule on the specialty menu. I never had that before and ordered it on the spot. It was grapefruit vodka with lime, lots of fine pellett nugget ice (the really good kind) with ginger beer and condensed milk. My god it was great, they told me how they made it because i never saw milk added to this before. It was a delicious limeade that almost was slushy like, creamy and with tangy vodka. Plus they actually served it in a proper copper mug. Best mixed drink ive had period and a cool twist on my favorite standard moscow mule. The place is now going to become a frequent haunt for us. Its very laid back, relaxed, with fantastic ambiance. It doesn't get jammed packed and is not meant to get wild in. We went there around 7pm on a friday night with about 8 or so others already there with their drinks. It did pick up later with 15-20 people in there but still spacious and comfortable. It genuinely was just a nice bar to have drinks and conversations with friends. Nice music that isn't too loud so you can talk with normal voice levels. The bartenders we had were super nice and charismatic. The drinks were not expensive, a respectable 13 bucks for my mule. If you have a bill over 40 dollars they automatically add 20% gratuity to it so keep that in mind when you are tipping. And after 8pm everything had 20% gratuity added to the bill. But the service is so damn good that you will probably still want to tip on top of that anyways. I loved it so much i actually made a yelp account just to post a review. TLDR super cool speakeasy type joint, cool aesthetics and laundry theme. Not loud, good for drinks and chit chat, cool well crafted specialty cocktails that don't break the bank. Good bartenders. Good times. Cozy seats that encourage you to hang out and talk even with folks you haven't met before and dim without being dark lighting. Clean bathroom too and quick charismatic service. Hit this place up for sure even just for the novelty of it. It was a wonderful surprise bar for a date night. Pro tip for this area in general. all paid parking, some place validates some do not, i am unsure if they do here but there is paid parking right out front and also a paid lot literally across the street. But i don't even bother. About a block and a half away northeast is a big shopping complex with a target. i just park there for free and walk. its a short nice walk and doesn't cost 20 bucks.
