When I started searching for a hair and make-up vendor I knew I needed two things - a team that would be able to execute flawless hair and make-up and bring the fun to our wedding day, because these are the people you start the most important day of your life with, who meet and care for all your favorite people. I told them I would have trouble telling them what I wanted, but was good at telling them what I didn't want/didn't like (what an intro!). They worked with me through a few options and after another trial, we nailed it - they gave me the "me on my best day" look I was searching for, with a perfect cateye, freckles, sun kissed cheeks and soft curled hair. Long story short, I had the best experience with Kathy and Janais for my wedding, and my wedding wouldn't have been as perfect without them! I have never seen two people work so well together to the point where they never got in the other's way. They were prompt with responding to emails, and they were punctual the day of (even though we started at 6AM, and it took them an hour to get to the location of the wedding). They were professional, but also very friendly and engaging to the point that time just felt like it flew by! I was also impressed with how they worked even during this time with the pandemic. Their workflow in regards to COVID seemed hygienic, safe, and responsible. I would highly recommend their services! Now for the detailed review: Since my now-husband and I were only going to have a small wedding, I initially had grandiose plans of doing my own hair and makeup. I am SO glad that I decided against it considering how many other things I had to take care of leading up to the wedding! When I reached out to Kathy and Janais for the first time, they responded back right away, and answered all of my questions. Over the course of our correspondence, I sent a lot of questions (especially because I don't have a lot of experience with makeup/hair), and they answered all of my questions promptly, and gave me plenty of recommendations and advice. I scheduled hair/makeup trials for me and my mom on separate days, and both my mom and I absolutely loved them. I was worried about if the makeup would look okay on me (since doing makeup on Asians is different), and my mom was worried that her hair and makeup wouldn't look right (as she has a very specific way of doing both). Both Kathy and Janais were able to tweak the looks to fit exactly what the both of us wanted, and Janais even took the hair piece that my mom was going to use, and cleaned/styled/ sewed on additional clips for the day of the wedding! Kathy also did the makeup for my mother-in-law on the wedding day, and even though she didn't go through a trial, my mother-in-law was raving about the results! She only showed Kathy one inspo picture, and Kathy nailed her makeup 100%! Even though we had an early start with the wedding (6AM), and it was about an hour drive for them, Kathy and Janais came right on time.
