I gave it a couple of weeks to see if it would somehow settle but no. I paid $275 with tip for a haircut that will need to be fixed. It looks like a table lamp. Curly-haired girls and fans looking for "Sharon at the Loft," you've come to the right place--this is your girl! I found Sharon after reading a bunch of reviews on Yelp, and started going to her for cuts and color at the Loft about a year ago. This pandemic has created a whole new world, and that goes for Sharon too--she's moved on to PF International Salon, about a half mile away from her previous studio. Sharon's got great energy and is a kind and patient listener--which is what we all *need* when we're talking about our hair and what we want done. You will feel calm and centered in her chair, even in these stressful times (especially in these stressful times!). My hair is super thick and curly, and she's great with lightening up my locks and putting the life back into them. As for color, she uses non-toxic stuff that won't have you keeling over from the fumes, even without a mask (but hey, you still have to wear one right now--we all need to protect each other!). Her color is gorgeous and I immediately feel brighter and happier every time I get my highlights done by her! The new studio is spacious and bright, and you get to sit in front of a "Magic Mirror" and feel like a princess (or a deliciously wicked witch, if that's more your vibe). My one tip is to just do the metered street parking in front of the building, if it's available when you're driving by (and it usually is). If you try to do neighborhood parking on the next side street and there's none available (which is a distinct possibility as it's a dead-end street inhabited by large apartment buildings), you'll have to make a right-hand turn onto Van Nuys and finagle your way back around to access the studio-front street parking again. So just do it the first time and don't fight the traffic patterns there. read more

If you are in need of anything hair related my advice is to RUN, not walk straight to the hair studio and ask for Sharon Caruso. She has ruined things for me in the BEST WAY possible.
