I will sing the praises of this thing until Indy gets something remotely comparable. lol Jambalaya UnWrap is the best fish in Indiana

Really enjoyed the stout they had on tap. I used to stop in here some twenty years ago and my giro dish was still on the menu. They have a jambalaya which is pretty good. Back in the day I was sweating after the second bite. Todays version wasn't so spicy. Which it was. It can with a large salad and a toasted garlic roll. Enjoyed my visit.

Yep - you should stop in if you are visiting Ft Wayne. Nice bar area. Staff is super friendly. Let's get down to what you really want to know - there wasn't a beer in the flight that I didn't like. The Ruby Raspberry Wheat - for those who like sours or lighter beers - this is for you. I'm not one that generally likes stouts - but the flavor on this one was good. As for the seasonal - Jonesing for Java - wow! Beer AND coffee - sounds like a good Brunch go-to if you ask me. As for the food - bring your appetite. I mean - check out the size of the pretzels! It's a meal in itself and oh the beer cheese with it - can you say - comfort food? The Santa Fe salad salad is a full plate - and then some. Chicken had good flavor and the dressing was complementary. Bonus - they have 4 packs and 6 packs of beer to go.

My husband and I stopped at Mad Anthony Brewing Company recently for lunch and to try their beer.. We sat at the bar and were greeted right away by the bartender, Anna. We sampled a couple of draft beers, which were really delicious, but decided to split the Ruby Rasberry Wheat since we had more breweries to try and a wedding to attend later in the day. We enjoyed the fruit flavor of the wheat beer and would definitely recommend it. We were hungry from our drive to Fort Wayne from the Indy area so we ordered The Politician, which is a deep-dish pizza with about everything on it. Ham, pepperoni, sausage, olives and more. It came out hot and we really enjoyed it. We ordered the medium for $19 and we did not have any leftovers so it was perfect for the two of us. The location is spacious and they have seating for families as well.

I wish this establishment was just better. I love the food, beer and atmosphere but the service is less than par and they nickel and dime you for everything. Let's start with service. It's slow. Every time I've gone I've waited and waited for someone to greet me. Even though they walk by my a bunch it is like we're invisible. Then you place a drink order again suoer slow. Appetizer depends on how busy and understaffed the kitchen is so it's a guess on how long that will take. And don't get me wrong it's been like this since before Covid. Want refills or more drinks. Forget about. I usually order two at a time because I know I won't get another one. In my opinion if you're not a regular or mug member you don't matter at the bar. I Always patient but when I am hungry I get antsy. Lol. Decor is dated as well as the menu but I do recommend their fresh made to order pig skin appetizers. Omg it's so amazing. Comes with bbq sauce and has a great bbq season in them. They're so fresh they come out popping to your table. I can eat those just as meal. They do have some great menu items that can only come from here. I go cause it's local owned and food is one of a kind and the beer of course. So go try it out and support local.

Dash In - historic downtown breakfast or lunch option…read more First off...Dash In won't appeal to everyone. The prices are a bit high compared to other places with similar food items. Parking may be a challenge depending on the time of day. And the dinning area is small. Dash In has been a downtown Fort Wayne eatery option for many years. They are located on Calhoun Street next to Pint & Slice and a couple blocks south of the court house. This restaurant has retained the vintage building feel. The interior brick and wood work are very attractive to go along with the more modern decor. The bar is very attractive. They have a very small street level outside patio if that is your preference. The shop is very small. I'm guessing the bar seats about 10 people. The main dinning area probably seats about 40. The team here is very friendly and welcoming. They hustle to serve. We went on a late Sunday afternoon and didn't not have to wait. I don't think they take reservations. There are lots of people coming and going with carry out orders. Today we had no problem finding a street parking spot. There is a parking garage nearby if no street spots are available. The menu is actually fairly broad. They have a special brunch menu along with a breakfast all day menu. There were several sandwiches and wraps available. A couple salads too. The coffee and alcoholic drink menus were very large. We didn't have either of these products this time so I can't give you any feedback on them. They have a special soup du jour and deli side selection. Today it was a mushroom arugula soup and caprese salad side. My wife loves breakfast and ordered a make-to-order omelette with a side of grilled vegetables. She really liked the light tasting eggs and fresh tasting vegetables. The tomato bisque soup is one of their staples. It is delicious and would be great with a grilled cheese sandwich from the menu. The soup was smooth and creamy. It had a gentle tomato flavor along with a more predominant milk/cream base. The soup surprisingly has a stronger spicy after taste - still outstandingly delicious! The side salad is very simple. It has a combination of fresh spring mix lettuce along with a minimal amount of onion, cheese and red pepper. The honey mustard dressing was smooth, creamy, thick and a bit spicy. It was mild on the honey/sweet taste while stronger on the mustard accent. The Italian panini sandwich was very good. The ciabatta bread was slightly grilled with a firmer exterior but not crunchy. The bread had a very freshly baked taste. The sandwich had a high quality tasting ham, pepperoni, salami and provolone cheese. The meats weren't piled high...but enough to get the flavor from each. The grilled onions and banana peppers gave the sandwich a nice zing. The pleasant aioli sauce moistened the sandwich and blended the spicy meats with the zippy onions and banana peppers. Overall the food quality was excellent yet a bit more costly than you might expect. The service was spot on and helped make it a pleasant dinning experience. The older building design, if you like that, adds to the overall experience. Give them a try!

The food is off the hook good. The service is always friendly and attentive. The ambiance is hip,…read moreand the location is perfect for when you are in the downtown area- walkable from the Arts district. We were here for the weekend and ate here every meal. I've been to USM several times and realized I have not done a review…read more.. USM is such a cool concept and has so much potential, but it's just never busy... It definitely has that big city market feel, but I just don't know if it's gonna work for FW? It's a well decorated place with eclectic vibes and a few nice shops/vendors. The problem imo has been that the vendors turn over so fast and never seem to make it... Whether it's overly expensive rent, not enough foot traffic, or it being on the edge of the sketchy part of town, I suspect USM has an uphill battle to really "make it" - Sure hope the place succeeds because it's got a ton of potential. If visiting, recommend the lil Thai vendor or Johnny Ox Pizza... Two of the better places at USM.

This place is amazing. We visited on a Friday evening and tried to visit as many of the vendors as…read morewe could. First, we got kids meals at Buyamba Sandwich Company, located in the west hall portion of the market. Kids meals are either a turkey and cheese sandwich or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, plus chips, fruit snacks and a Capri Sun. Pretty much everything that a child could want for a meal, and my kids were more than satisfied. Next, we got a couple of drinks at The Charlie Horse, one of the bars. They have Sun King beer on tap, but I think that was the only local beer. It's difficult for me to pass up Korean food when I see it, so I decided my meal would be bibimbap from Seoul Garden. I got my bibimbap with beef, a lot of gochujang with a fried egg on top. The vegetables were cooked but still crunchy, and everything was great. We also got a burrito from Pikoso, and that was great, too. I don't have much to say about it because I didn't get to taste it, but I was told it was tasty. Lastly, we got scoops of ice cream at Local Apple Cart, which is a little stand that makes its ice cream with locally grown fruit. I got a scoop of vanilla and the blueberry ice cream, which was super purple and vibrant. A couple of things to note: There's one pizza joint in here (Johnny Ox Pizzeria) and they only sell pizza by the slice during lunch, and full pizzas during dinner time. That was a bummer because we really wanted a slice, but we were foiled. The pizzas are huge, too. Most of the merchants in the east hall were closed, which was a bummer. These included the fresh food market, a seafood and meat market, and an Amish deli and bakery. I was kind of surprised that they weren't open on a busy Friday, but so it goes. When we visited, there was a trivia game going on, which was neat. There is so much seating in this food hall. We sat upstairs, where we could get a good view of the bustling happenings down below. There are tables, but also chairs and a few couches. The lighting is nice and mellow, too, but the noise can get overwhelming because the hall is very tall and the sound carries. Plus, there was music playing, so it was pretty loud in there. At the entrance, be sure to look around you -- you'll see some really cool murals on the walls.

One bill. Two different companies. This facility has taken over a small house right on Wells Street. There is street parking. You could probably park at the Headwaters church if there are not steer spots. Inside the dinning area is wide open, clean and inviting. The decor is different everywhere you look. Nice touch! The drinks come from the Tough Tap Room. I Gad the watermelon mojito which had a very refreshing taste. My daughter had the hoppy water. She liked the slight beer flavoring without the alcohol. The pizzas here are very good. In general the pizza is slightly thin but has a bit of a chewy crust. The crust appears to be well cooked but still comes out moist and tasty. All pizzas are 12 inches in size. A 12" pizza is enough for two people to share. The Bhan Mi pizza has a nice Thai taste. The topping were very fresh and the sauce has a bit of a zip to it. The meat pizza had plenty of toppings. The Italian sausage and pepperoni had a good spice to go along with the cheese. The Packed Supremo pizza was a nice "supreme" option. There were plenty of veggie and meat toppings. Give these two places a try!
