    Smoked nachos
    Kim M.

Off to a rough start with a "seat yourself" sign and one other larger table in the restaurant. We (two of us) were greeted by two servers and then a third who became our actual server. I was able to taste a couple of the beers before I decided, which was great, some local restaurants charge for samples. Our server wasn't clear on some ingredients of food, but was friendly and got our order placed. There was a private party in a secluded dining room, so I was skeptical of how the meal was going to go. We ordered an appetizer, buffalo cauliflower, which was about 10 minute wait, not horrible. So, timing I thought was fair. The cauliflower itself was hot, spicy and I thought had a slight cheese flavor in the breading. We ordered ranch and bleu cheese for dipping, both a good complement. As an appetizer, I would say it would be adequate for two, maybe three people or a really hungry single person. Food came shortly after, brisket and smoked nachos. I had ordered nachos discussing the ingredients with server, lettuce, pico, cheese, pulled pork, bbq sauce, queso (I ordered on side to not have soggy chips). I received an order with chips, pico -mostly tomatoes, which I like, pork and bbq and sour cream drizzle. Queso was served on side. I dont think there was any cheese. I asked for lettuce and was brought a monkey dish worth. The pork was disappointing, minimal and fatty, sauce was sweet and spicy good, queso tastes like it came out of a jar. I was glad to have it on the side. The brisket was good, sliced very thin, almost shaved. I have usually had it sliced like a 1/4". It was average, sorry to say. I would say if you are a beer drinker, this is the place to meet friends and try the many varieties, order some apps to share. I'm hoping their other available food has a better wow factor. I would imagine we will give it another shot sometime with friends since we live nearby.

First time to Chapman's at the Electric Works facility. The facility is new and really large. Everything was in great repair, nicely decorated and comfortable. The place has TV's, a large bar, street views and lots of hustle & bustle in the large open seating. All great for people watching to enhance your dining experience. We found that they had plenty of staff to make sure you were served well on a busy Friday night. Our waitress, Wednesday, was very engaging, friendly and welcoming. She had lots of good recommendations and knew her menu well. She answered all our questions about Chapman's as we had never been there before. Just a note...Chapman's has a large room I. The back that can be reserved. It seats 42-45 people in case you have a meeting or rehearsal dinner. We started off with the pickle fries appetizer. The fries were thinly cut dill pickles and were breaded in a thicker-corn meal style breading. The fry was not very meaty so you struggled to get a good crisp dill taste. The breading was heavy and soaked up a lot of oil. While I liked the corn meal style taste...the oily taste was a bit much and I definitely wanted more dill pop from the fries. The side salad was very attractive. It was a nice size to get you appetite going without filling you up. Everything was very fresh. The accent vegetables and cheese were delicious. The honey mustard dressing was mild and creamy. Good side salad!! My wife loved he caprese flatbread. She liked the seasonings and soft dough. The cheese was piled high and pulled all the flavors together. I had the bone-in wings with teriyaki and garlic Parmesan sauces. The wings were large and very meaty. Normally I don't need to floss after eating wings...but these were so meaty that they stuck to my teeth (that's a good thing). The outside of the wing was slightly fried. You could pick up hints of the Smokey flavor inside the wing - very good! I thought both sauces were nice but lacked a stronger taste to give the wing a pop. The teriyaki sauce was very thin and lacked a stronger taste to let You know this is teriyaki. It was very good though. The garlic Parmesan sauce was the same way. I was look g forward to a thicker and creamy sauce that has a pronounced garlic and cheese taste. The basic flavors weee there...they just left me wanting more zip. Overall...an excellent wing!!

Food isn't bad but the portions lol could you imagine going out for a good fish dinner and you end up with that? Couple fish sticks and half order of fries $16 later. lol your billfold is going to fill light , but ultimately your stomach is still going to feel light. You might have to go somewhere else and you can actually get something to eat.

Great vibe, top-notch service! Solid beer selection, and the food hits the spot! I had pork belly tacos , I would serve bbq sauce on a slice tho, cuz it's overpowering meat flavor!

Super cool brewery with very friendly staff. Love the patio. If you are not into craft beer, sad, there is wine and spritzers. Family friendly and all around good times.

I'll admit that my review is limited and this place could be a 5 (but it could be a 3). I was visiting Fort Wayne and came here to have a few beers and get some work done. That means I DID NOT try any food and this review has nothing to do for me to do with that. The beer was mediocre. I admit i am visiting from CA and the IPAs out there are legit, but I feel like the two I had were not as good as others I've had here and in Indy. The service was great. The bartender was friendly and let me be once she realized I was just having a beer and working. The place is huge. It was empty when I was there, but I'm positive that will change as the new development takes off and more people are in the area.

    A great beer flight presentation

What started off as a great first experience quickly went straight down hill. I absolutely DO NOT recommend the new Chapman's Brewing at Electric Woks Us and another couple were quickly greeted and drink orders were taken, with drinks arriving right after BUT.... We couldn't get another drink, weren't told of the specials (I didn't even know they had them) and never asked if we wanted food. After 25 minutes with empty glasses, the bartender walking by us several times with no acknowledgment I finally spoke up and asked for the check. I absolutely understand being busy, understaffed etc and we are VERY forgiving in this current state of affairs but what sent me over the edge was when the bartender started moving around chairs and I still didn't have a check. When I spoke to the manager about how upset I was, his main concern was that I "couldn't insult his bartender" because I said they were incompetent and costing the business money. He wasn't concerned with the fact that we sat there and it most certainly would've been easier to just walk out, never once tried to validate my concerns and definitely not concerned that I would never be back. Such a terrible attitude for a new location, but a true instance of "attitude reflects leadership"

This business is closed. Don't waste your time going here. There is a nice dining and drink option in the nearby location.

She was super friendly and wanted us happy. Let us sample a couple of the barbecue sauces when I couldn't decide what I wanted. The building and decor is really cool and inviting. We sat at the bar. The beer selection was great. They had a couple of their beers along with other local (Ohio) beers. Definitely something for anyone. I got the grilled cheese with brisket and a house salad as my side. The creamy cilantro dressing caught my eye and it was so good. I believe their dressings and bbq sauces are made in house. This place's prices seem too low for the quality you get. My grilled cheese was SO good. I tried, but I couldn't finish it. It was just as good the next day. The brisket was so good. And I'm not big on bbq. Usually brisket is too fatty for me. But whatever they did, they did it right.

Visiting the brewery I was very, very impressed with several of their beers, and the friendliness of staff. I purchased multiple cans to have over our continued vacation. A year, maybe two after that we were in the area and again went to the brewery. My favorite beer wasn't ready yet, so I settled for some of the others. Well, a year or so after that, knowing we were going to be in the area, I sent an email asking if a certain beer would be available. Crickets. No response. The brewery is out of the way from where we stay so I didn't want to make the trip if the beer wasn't available. Ok, so we are in the area again this week, I looked at the operating hours online and saw they are open on Mondays at 3:00. My wife and I make the drive out and arrive at 3:30. Closed. And the sign on the door says they are open at 3:00. I called their phone and got the answering machine. I asked them to give me a call and let me know when they would be opening. I figured we could run some errands nearby and return. No return call. Westwind is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays so I thought maybe I would hear from them on Thursday. Well I didn't. I know that our purchases are minuscule in comparison to what a business needs to survive, but common courtesy and customer service should be at the forefront of any business. Bob McDonnell
