Currans Delly has pretty much a bit of everything. The food is mediocre and over priced. Definitely could make the same food and sandwiches at home for cheaper. Staff is nice, the place is pretty clean but it's kind of small on the inside. The breakfast sandwiches are made to order but again something you could make yourself at home. The prices are cheap and the food is okay. Nothing to scream about but the prices really. I've had the Italian Cold Cut which was a little less than average, packed with meat, kinda short, and the ham was plain kinda thickly cut. (See pictures) The wings and fries are worth trying for the price. I've had the shrimp and fries which was okay too but no specific flavor to the batter. I'd go here if in the neighborhood and don't want to break the bank. Many people nearby frequent this spot, they are always taking orders. Anyways not many other eateries nearby for a few blocks in either direction. The employees are willing to answer any questions about their cuisine. Great food here for really inexpensive prices. seems like a hole in the wall, but the breakfast is great and I've also had the polish hotdog and fries, which were really good!!! Oh the their Half & Half is outta this world!!!!! I just love it! So this place is where to go for good breakfast. I enjoy the fact that they offer other items besides PORK products. The servings are more than enough and the prices are good as well. My order came to 42$ for 1 order of 4 wings and fries,4 wings,3 breakfast sandwiches and a breakfast platter. That was very high. Even considering the "chicken shortage".But thats not the main reason why I'm only giving 1 star because everything is getting higher. The food was frankly very bad. The only thing good out of all we ordered were the breakfast sandwiches. And even those could have been better. But i am most dissatisfied with the chicken. The skin seemed rubbery and the meat inside was tough. The fries were very soggy as if they had gotten wet and the fries, the chicken and everything in the platter was bland with no taste. We didn't get drinks so i have nothing to say about those. The woman who answered the phone was fairly pleasant. So i have nothing bad to say about the service I haven't had any issues. And the few times Ive ordered from them before(only got breakfast sandwiches and home fries) I was usually pleased with my order. So i figured why not try the other stuff. This was a convenience buy. Wouldn't come again. Fries were soggy subs were subpar. They could have added salt and pepper. The peach mango tea was good. They didn't offer ketchup with fries. We can't seem to get consistent service from Currans. Sometimes our food is awesome. They have great shrimp salad and the French Toast platters are a staple for us on weekends but each time it's different. Some times it's awesome and others the food is greasy and not prepared well. But what they should really work on is the delivery portion of the restaurant. Today we ordered 3 french toast platters and we were told that it'd be about an hour for delivering well over 2 hours later we call and they announced the food was just finished and just waiting for the delivery guy to come back. What the what? It's over 2 hours since ordering and it's just now done? Needless to say we will give Currans a break for a while. read more

Tried this place yesterday. I was craving a greasy sub. I ordered a teriyaki steak sub, fries, and a half and half. It was...meh, okay. The meat was similar to or equivilant to steakums, squirted with teriyaki sauce. The fries were fresh hott crinkle fries. The half and half was poored out of a dirty looking pitcher and tasted like store bought mix. The lady who was cooking picks up raw chicken with her bare hands which are ladden with rings, a bacteria breeding ground. I can't believe I still ate my food! I was pretty hungry and was determined not to be a snob on this day. I wasn't even put off by the large posters on the old seafood shop next door which detailed the anniversary of the murder of the former owner. WTH? It's pretty apparent that I will not be returning to this hole in the wall. I have been utterly disappointed. No thanks! read more

This is a typical deli and is good, should you need snackage. They offer breakfast in the AM and the regular sub-shop basics - subs, sandwiches, fries, etc. The service is pretty quick, so there isn't a long wait. For example, you can get a sub special - 1/2 sub, fries and a 32 oz. beverage from $7-$10 (depending on what you select). There are small booths for sitting, if you prefer to eat inside. I've recently tried the Chicken Teriyaki Cheese steak sub with fries and iced tea. That was good and filling. There was a bit much of the Teriyaki sauce, but if you want to grub on sub food then go for it! read more

I would really have loved to have given this place 5 stars the food is really excellent...but..I have had issues with the customer service. So long story short I have 3 children and a husband and sometimes when I order and it's not just for myself and my husband alone when we receive breaks most of the time it's for the whole family so therefor my orders are large orders. I often call for delivery so a while ago I ordered for delivery and after I completed given my order the order taker slammed down the phone after telling me to hold for my total...I heard her say.. (prepare yourselves) "all of this fucking food" and some other things I couldn't quite hear. So I continued placed my order remained nice and just thought well wow she's having a horrible day and you never know what someone is going through so I just left it alone received my food and it was great as always. So I ordered this past Friday and whom ever took my order was really nice and I didn't think anything else of it. Now today my husband and I decided to order some food. I called placed my usual order the order taker placed me on hold once again for my total I was paying with a visa after she put me on hold I could hear her slam down the phone and other things in the background and i heard her say " and they wonder why I always have an attitude ppl calling here ordering all this fucking shit!" I was immediately pissed and reminded of the last time this gad occurred...while I was waiting for her to finish taking my card # for payment I immediately started putting my clothes on and explained to my husband That I was going inside of the store to pick up my phone and ask for a manager because this type of treatment is terrible and should never happen when you are spending $70 on an order. My thing is me ordering big orders allows your place of employment to stay in business and to keep a check, and it is unexceptable. So we went into the store. I asked for a manager and the girl who took my order was at the front desk still and we clearly knew that it was her. But I kept my cool. Being that I opted for delivery I'm sure it was a shocker that I was actually there to pick up my opted delivery order. So I spoke with the manager explained to her the situation, from the way that she explained to me that she would figure out who took my order and the way that the inside is set up in close proximity I knew that the manager had already knew what I was talking about and may have even seen this happen herself but just never thought that I had actually heard her or would show up. The manager was very pleasant about it also being that there were customers in the store....she pleasantly apologized and offered to give me a discount of 15 dollars cash from their tip container and also gave my 2 year old daughter a pack of free candy and apologized. I was very pleased and thankful for her understanding and nd cooperation but was still highly appalled by the disrespectful attitude from the cashier during the time of delivery. I really enjoy their food it's really great and even the delivery drivers are super nice when delivering our food. It's just so unfortunate to me how one bad seed can ruin a whole apple. And really just goes to show you how ppl just do not think properly. Because had I been someone who was also going through alot or been a crazy person just her ignorance alone could have cause someone that may not have been so understanding or more so have a bad or horrible attitude myself (if I had been a person like that) clearly a person like that could have waited for someone whom carry themselves in such disrespectful manner to get off of work and make a huge not so decent scene of trouble. But thank God for ppl like me. And Thank God for ppl like the manager... but the food is really good it just makes me second guess actually purchasing food from here any longer because I just feel that you have to be careful when ppl can actually handle what you put into your bodies.
