Had a very good experience. My best friend and her mom bought their car here a few years ago and…read morethey still run great.. Absolutely no games or anything. I went in and he asked what he could do for me, I told him what I wanted and we talked about options, he gave me the keys to check out the car I liked and I went on a test drive. Car ran great. He worked with me and I bought the car that day. I went to a few previous dealers including the bigger names that had all these technicalities. I enjoyed my experience. No hassle or anything. They were very friendly, offered us beverages. The process went fairly quick. It was exactly what I hoped for. They get stuff done and I got the impression they cared about their customers. A few customers actually walked in while I was their and everyone there seemed adored.. it's definitely a family vibe.

You get a quality car and you support a local dealer. Lu has made this a family and friends business, both his so sons, wife, and daughter help with the company. He helped me get the lowest rates and worked w what little money I had for a down payment and I've never been happier. Both my ford focus AND my current Toyota RAV4 were/are amazing. Will forever do business here and recommend my friends and family to them.

As many of you know, I had to buy a car back in June 2016. My car was a total loss from an…read moreaccident. I was driving a 2003 BMW X5. His name was Clark. I looked at other car brands, but I love BMW. I purchased the car with a warranty. The warranty was for 2 years unlimited mileage. It cost $2,000. On 30 June I bought a 2010 BMW X5 35d from Gambacorta Motors. The car had 81k miles on it and looked good. I picked it up around 5:30. The car had not gone through inspection. The following day at around 10:30 the check engine light came on. I took it to a local AutoZone, to make sure it would not go in to limp mode. The car was showing a Knox/CAT code. The car had just had both KNOX sensors replaced. I called Gambacorta. Anthony stated he would call me back. I waited about a week or so with no call back. I called them back. They told me they want the car to go back to AV Autoworx in Wimington DE as they had replaced those parts. I was able to get it in around the second week of July. I was informed that the Urea tank nozzle was misfiring and needed to be replaced. I picked the car up while we waited for the part to arrive. In the meantime, Gambacorta hired their own mechanic. In August I called to mention my tags were going to expire in 19 days. That was when they asked me to bring it to them. They told me they would call back with a day. That they would lend me a car to use while they worked on mine. I called several times, with no call back. On the day before my tags expired I took it to the DMV, I thought I could at least get a 30 day temp tag. I was wrong. The DMV called Anthony at Gambacorta, he stated he would issue me another tag. I drove down and picked it up. Also, in August I received a letter stating the warranty I bought was decline. The used car warranty company stated they do not cove diesel SUVs. I was assured we would find another company. I asked them when will they look at my car. They told me soon. I was also told they already paid for a new warranty and to expect those papers soon. That's what John mentioned, he told my Anthony would know more. My car finally went in on 5 November, they lent me a 2004 Wagon. I asked about the warranty only to be told by Anthony that John was handling it. He stated he knew nothing, The car they lent me died in Baltimore MD the next day. My boyfriend drove from New Jersey to Delaware to grab my mom's car incase he could not get the car to run. He drives a truck and we would not fit in it. He got the car started. On Monday, John swapped out the wagon for a Buick. After not hearing anything for a few days I called them, they told me that AV Autoworx was incorrect and they would be replacing another part. They replace the part the light goes out. They drove the car around in order to get the codes to clear fully. The light came back on. This time they took the car to I.G. Burton in Milford. I.G told them the tank was bad, this tank had been replaced by AV Autoworx prior to my purchase. They did not have I.G Burton replace the part stating the cost of $1,400 was too expensive. They chose to do it themselves. They replaced the part, they drove the car around to make sure it would fully clear any codes. On 8 December, my car finally passed state inspection. They stated they were unable to tag it that day. On 10 December, I picked up my car. I signed a new warranty document that day. 489 miles later the light came back on, same code. I called them the day it came on, it was a Tuesday. Mark the salesperson, tells me John will call me right back. I call later that day because now I see my car is warning high oil level. I changed the oil about 5k miles prior and this is the first time this shows. I call him again, John is busy and will call me back, . I wait and wait, no call back. That Thursday, I started my car to see the Park brake showing a malfunction. It broke, I only used it once. I drove down to see them personally. They agree to look at the car again, they gave me the Buick again. They decide the car should go to European Performance to see which CAT is failing. European Performance states it needs to go to BMW as they would be able to tell. on 28 December, I take it to Union BMW. This is now the 5th different mechanic to look at the car in just 6 months. They call me to tell me in order to figure it out the car would need new KNOX sensors again. John chooses not to fix the car, stating he can do it for less. That is not the biggest issue. Union provides me with the codes, it has 15! 6 of them are related to the Driver Stability Control system. The car is at risk for a rollover. These codes more than likely showed at I.G Burton, but since the car was under Gambacorta Burton could not release the information. Ok, so now we are trying to figure out a game plan as it shows the car is full of concerns. They take it back and lend me a 2008 BMW X5, one that has clearly been in a w
