7/10/26 update…read more Finally after 91 days I have my title and proper tags, had to move all the way up the food chain to get it done. We have previously dealt with the Milford store and none of the title tag work was an issue, who knew that by actually paying cash for something would cause such a problem. Wife had been told to go to DMV pay $20 and get another t tag so I called their corporate office and it was done in hours. What infuriates me the most is it was paid for but some short comings were identified I just hope they fix it. I am not an interruption to your business day, I'm the reason for it. Smyrna IG Burton location needs fixed. 10 weeks since purchase, no tags or title, my t tag expires in 2 weeks. UNACCEPTABLE. They just don't understand customer service. We actually had a notarized letter sent to us from stelantis saying we already paid the jeep off, went to DMV to get our title and possibly the tags if possible, according to DMV the jeep is still registered and titled in PA and they have no record of the sale as the taxes aren't even paid on this yet. IG Burton says it's DMV's fault and DMV says it's IG Burtons fault. Wife called yesterday and still no tags, I tend to believe DMV, mostly because of the title situation and the sales tax yet to be paid on my purchase. I remember the day when all these dealers used to have a few old retired people running used vehicles through inspection and running the title/tag paperwork and it would be done in like 2 weeks. 10 weeks is not acceptable, I'm guessing I'll need a new t tag and even myself going into DMV is pointless at this point as they have no record of the sale.

The engine light came on a couple of days after we bought the car, and they are denying any responsibility. We are having to pay out over $2k for repairs. They also didn't tell us they were charging us an extra $300 for processing title work.

I didn't have the money at the time and they charged me a "diagnostic" fee to get my car back. Turns out their diagnosis was wrong. I had another mechanic look at it and the clutch was fine, just needed the hydraulics between the pedal and the clutch replaced. Cost was less than half of what Bobbitt wanted. When I called to ask for my diagnosis charge to be refunded they refused. Just steer clear of them.

THE DEALERS WATCHED OUR DOG ABBY!!!!!!! The Finance Mgr, Howie, was no pressure as he professionally presented the different options for their warranty packages. Overall a very professional & awesome experience in every way!! Highly recommend!! Final process which takes other dealers, hours, took about 29 minutes and we were off, back to Virginia Beach! They told me what the issues were up front, & anything that did pop up along the way they had it taken care of or in the process of being taken care of. They weren't underhanded about anything, not to mention the price they sold the car to me for is significantly lower than what competitors are selling for. They definitely pulled their weight & then some. I'm not sure what may have taken place in the past, but for buying from a used dealer. They did a good job in my opinion.

On 2/21/23 we bought a Ram 3500 diesel from Colonial Motors. On 2/22 the check engine like came on,…read morecalled Colonial and spoke to Angie who told us to bring it in and they'll take care of it. Dropped it off on 2/27 and picked it up on 3/2 and were told by Rich they replaced the SCR Catalist. On 3/3 the check engine light came back on. Dropped it back off to Colonial on 3/4 and picked it up on 3/6 and were told by Angie the tech said the computer was bad and needed to be replaced, they let us pick it up until the part came in and said it was safe to drive. That evening it flashed check air filter, we replaced the air filter and the light went out. We contacted Angie and let her know on 3/7 that the light went out and she was still keeping the part on order just in case. On 3/9 the check engine light came back on, when we contacted Angie to let her know she stated she canceled the part and it was the only one in the country and it would take 1-2 months to get another part. So we contacted a Dodge dealership and on 3/19 we dropped it off with them. On 3/20 they found the DEF injector connector missing water seal, missing DEF injector bolts & missing DEF injector o-ring. Colonial did cover the repairs from the dealership and we picked it up that evening. On 3/27 the check engine light came back on. Took it back to the dealership on 3/29 they spoke to Mike and Sarah at Colonial and diagnostic said SCR Cat Failure and injector seal. Colonial agreed to replace those parts and Sarah called and left us a voice message stating Colonial will be paying for all work and then stated that it was due to I.G. Burton putting faulty parts on the truck when it was in their shop. On 3/30 the dealership contacted us because they hadn't heard back from Colonial. We contacted Angie at Colonial and she asked why the truck was at the dealership and not at their lot. We explained because both times it was in there nothing was done to fix it. We were told by the owner Rich that the SRC Cat was replaced and it was not, it's still the same one that was on there when we bought it unless they replaced it with a used one and the sealant is RTV silicon between the 2 converters instead of using the proper gasket. Angie hung up on us, we called back 20 minutes later and she said "what could I possibly do for you now?" Words were exchanged and Angie hung up again. The dealership called and told us we needed to pick up the truck that Angie called up there and said they refused to pay for the work on the truck and that Angie said we needed to bring the truck to Colonial to have the repairs made. We were also sold a bumper to bumper warranty that doesn't cover any of the issues the truck is having or any of the emission system. Be weary if you purchase anything from them. Now we'll be out of pocket the costs because we can't trust them to do the proper work.
