Came here for lunch with a buddy a few weeks ago. Neither of us have been in to try it out and so we thought to give it a go. We arrived at open and felt good that there were a dozen or so people waiting for it to open. It was a buffet style which I tend to stay away from, but in this case it was great as I wanted to try everything and of course buffet style really gives you that opportunity. I had the butter chicken and rice pretty much every time I went up there. There was another chicken dish I had never had before at an Indian cuisine and loved it. Overall the food was good and the service was great. We will definitely be back for more. Thank you. PS-we all learned you can do a togo if you are on the run. Its the same price but they give you a to go box and you fill it as you like. One pass only with the box but its all you can stuff into it. This was cool as sometimes we are in a time crunch and could easily see ourselves doing it. Great idea as you don't feel like your not getting what you are paying for with a buffet style spot. Typically Everett doesn't produce many great restaurant choices, but this place is truly a hidden gem. For starters, the butter chicken is to die for! Don't leave without trying the butter chicken. The garlic naan is so tasty. The tikka masala is delicious. Love the mango curry. Everything we have tried here is good. Excellent food portions. We always leave satisfied. Service is friendly. The owner is often working and is delightful to chat with. My first time at the restaurant he gave me a sampler of everything to try. Much appreciated! Parking is the pits (very few options), but I'm not even willing to knock a star off of my review for that because the food is THAT good. Did I mention you should try the butter chicken? read more

Best indian restaurant i have been to in the north end. Small and clean. They don't have a huge menu, but sometimes it's better that way. So, i don't mind. The waitstaff was friendly and fast. Aloo tikki- $4 for 3 small rounds of stuffed potato! Good but not worth the price they are charging. Garlic naan- it was prefect! Light on top and crispy on the bottom and edges. Buttery garlic goodness. Butter chicken- consistency was a little thinner than what I'm use to. The chicken was a little hard. But had great flavor. Tandoori delight- assortment of tandoori entrees. It had Lamb boti kabab, chicken tikka kabab, tandoori chicken. The lamb was a little overcooked but had good flavor. The chicken tikka was good. Seasoned and cooked nicely. The tandoori chicken was the best out of all the meats. Seasoned and cooked well. Still moist and juicy. Mint chutney (green sauce)- the best i have ever had. A little on the spicy side. No complaints here! I'll be back to try more items! read more

If you are looking to have good quality of Desi food, this would be one of them! Really liked their service, food quality, and ambience. For those who never tried fish pakora, this would be an awesome place to start. We also liked their chicken biriyani and karai chicken. Fantastic curry with an awesome employee. However it's only fantastic if you get the lunch buffet. 15$ a person for all you can eat curry, rice, and naan. Dinner is significantly worse not due to a drop in quality rather the price to food ratio. You get half the curry for more than you would pay at any other curry place for a full serving. read more

On our way back from the tulips, we happened upon this place with a weekend buffet. Score! I tried pretty much everything on the line and enjoyed them all. My favorite was the goat curry. Also, I appreciate when a buffet puts the naan out so you don't have to keep asking for it. They only had fruit and a pudding thing for dessert, but the pudding was delicious. No idea what it was though. We enjoyed our lunch and appreciate that they let us enjoy our fill even though they closed to prep for dinner. Next time we drive through, we will very likely stop in. read more

Good flavor in the chicken tikka masala sauce. Would've preferred the chicken not be as over cooked as it was, and would've preferred there be more chicken in the meal as it was scarce, but I can't deny it was tasty. :) The nan/naan was also very good. Also had the gulab jamun. Again, tasty but only two balls came in the order and that makes it a bit expensive...usually Indian restaurants provide at least 3 (if not 4) balls in a gulab jamun order. read more

We were recommended to try here by our neighbors and we were not disappointed! The Chapli Kebabs were amazing, and our entrees, while spicier than anticipated, were still super delicious. Our drink was missed somehow, just didn't make it into my take out. However, the staff was incredibly accommodating and even went so far as to have a driver bring it to us since we were so close to the restaurant anyways. I was disappointed with the amount of food for price. $13.00 for butter chicken with only three little chunks of chicken very small portions little curry for price. Same for the chicken karahi and tandoori chicken. Tandoori chicken over cooked burnt not appetizing. Will not be back. read more

I've had a lunch catered from here years ago now and then came back for takeout only recently. I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of the food has not changed. The goat biryani was amazingly flavorful, with every bite, loaded with hulking pieces of goat and piles of caramelized onion on top. The butter chicken, naan, and samosas were equally tasty and fresh. One tiny thing is the chicken was just a bit dry. But I think everything else was so delicious especially compared to some of the other Indian spots in the area, I wouldn't knock off a star for that. We played it pretty safe... my wife ordered curry salmon and I ordered chicken tikka masala. We had a couple different naans. All was really good! The spice level was exactly what I expected for medium. The only negative was that the water they served initially had a bad flavor. I think it sat in the fridge too long perhaps? My wife and I decided to try out Curries on Evergreen, in Everett. With many Indian restaurants, we felt it was hit or miss. When we walked in, the first thing we noticed was how clean it was. It was around 1pm on a Saturday. The owner seated us, and the great smells sat with us. My wife ordered the Butter Chicken, and I tried out the buffet. The buffet was wonderful. Nothing was dried out. The fragrant rice, and spicy curries made me warm inside. The Butter Chicken melted in my wifes mouth, and was spicy enough to soothe her taste for savory flavors. The customer service was great! We were asked several times if everything was all right, and they kept our water glasses full, such a great place to eat. The bill was average, parking is good, overall Curries on Evergreen gets 5 stars, for their food and awesome customer service. Will be going back real soon. read more

I just had the goat curry and two vegetarian entrees- yummy! I haven't had goat in a long time but still love it. The spices are well balanced and flavored perfectly. The food tastes very authentic and fresh. The aroma that welcomes you upon entry is what I expect at home: mouth watering and savory. The lady that served us was gracious, prompt and very friendly. Excellent Indian food which is my weakness. The coconut curry is to die for and they always take care of our special requests for takeout. We never have to worry that the order will be right. Ok. So I went here with some hiped expectations because of the amazing reviews and also a recommendation from a friend. For appetizers, we ordered aloo tikia, gobi Manchurian and paneer tikka kabab. Aloo tikia was very decent nothing special or amazing about it. I will come back to gobi Manchurian in a bit. Paneer tikka kabab seemed to be good but it would have been better if there were more. They had only 5 square pieces. Gobi Manchurian was a total failure. Dripping tomato sauce and had only 5 pieces which comes to like 2$ per piece (totally not worth it. Stay away). Next was the entree, we ordered paneer karaghiri and veg masala. The paneer dish was good and had good quantity. But the veg masala was no good for me. It had coriander seeds which I could bite into hence my hatred. So to summarize stay away from gobi Manchurian and veg masala (if you don't like the taste of biting into coriander seeds) Happy eating. read more

Best Indian in Everett!!! And lots of vegan and vegetarian options. I always get their goat cheese and spinach naan with bangan bartha, but their parmesan and onion naan is to die for as well! Garlic is the go to for husband with his aloo gobi dish. We love the golden dal for daughter and as a side for us as well.
