I used to dread coming here, their service was terrible and their whole ambience was so dismal and outdated. However, with the new service center now fully operational, their service is amazing, and their lounge is state of the art with nice views, super comfy chairs, and outlets galore! Came here for an oil change and was out in less than an hour - that's never happened before! DO NOT GET YOUR HONDA SERVICED HERE! I went in for a wiper switch, blades and sideview mirror. Not sure I even got the new blades....or the new wiper switch.... They informed me I needed $3200 worth of work (drive train gasket, power steering gasket and pump, and various belt replacements). The car just had a full inspection 3 months ago (Sept. 2018) by Curry Honda with nothing noted, and now, all of the sudden I have 2 major repairs. Ask to see the active leak (power up, pressure up, and show me the money), ask about fluid levels, fluid spots on the pavement below the car, and get a second opinion. I blame myself for spending $2000 on unnecessary repairs, and will never go there again. Having service buyers remorse. I'm noticing there are tons of similar complaints in 2018 about the declining service. I'm considering reporting to the BBB. read more

I use to get good service at Curry Honda. Something has definitely changed. My 2015 Honda Accord would not shut off completely - the engine would turn off but not the accessories (radio, etc). I dropped it off at Curry Honda to fix. 20 min after dropping it off, I got a call from the service advisor asking me if the second key was in the car. I assured him that it was in my purse and I was looking at it. 3 hours later, I get another call from the service advisor saying he thought the second key was in the car. I called the service manager at this point since they had wasted 3 hours looking for a second key that was in my purse. The service manager said he would get his "best" technician on it. Long story short - they deprogrammed both keys because they thought that was the issue. They could have done what I did the day before - I took the key out and tried to turn off the car and got a message saying "NO KEY" on the dash. So, apparently, I'M A BETTER TROUBLESHOOTER than Curry Honda's "best" technician. They failed to tell me they deprogrammed both keys. So when I tried to start it with the key that was in my purse, it wouldn't. I took it back and learned that they deprogrammed the keys. It would have been nice for them to tell me that in advance so I didn't have to make another trip. Then, a few days after I got it back, it would not go into park. They replaced a part in the gear shift. I was told by the service technician that they would have a loaner waiting on me. When I arrived, service technician was gone, and no loaner. I even left a vmail with the General Manager after all of these issues (because I could not get my technician, the service manager, or the service managers boss on the phone), and got no call back. read more

I have always had Hondas and have dealt with Curry over the years and there has always been an issue. An example is that they did service on my car that was not reviewed with me and I refused to pay. I decided to buy a new car with them because they are closer to my home - bad mistake. I felt that they were not willing to discuss pricing in a fair way and they changed the price when I decided not to trade my old car. They incorrectly completed the application to the state indicating there was a lien on the vehicle when there was not - more hassles to fix. Attention to detail in customer service goes a long way and this dealership clearly does not offer much. I did not receive a proper tutorial/overview of the vehicle, as well as for the new techology of car, but rather a 2 min rushed version. Thankfully my daughter has a similar model and assisted me. Lastly, only 2 screws were provided for the licence plate, yet it requires 4 for proper installation. Upon calling the dealship, they said "no problem, just drive up here". Well that is about a 25 minute drive and not worth the hassle. I went to the hardware store and bought them myself, which one would not expect to have to do with a NEW CAR purchase. read more

I just had a dreadful experience with th Service Dept. I went in Thursday afternoon (first visit in ATL), told it would take 1 hour to re-program 2 key fobs while I waited. 2-1/2 hours later, I am told there were other problems why they keys wouldn't program; it would take 'til the next morning to diagnose. OK, I said, keep the car, but PLEASE ALSO RESOLVE THREE RECALL NOTICES that came up when we checked the VIN#. By 3pm on Friday, I had to call to find out "Is it fixed?" No, they had to oder a part. "It'll be ready Saturday morning." Saturday, 3pm, I have to call again, "Is it fixed?" Oh... yeah, come get it. I did. $550 to replace the internal key unit. AND THEN! THEY FORGOT **FORGOT** TO RESOLVE THE RECALL ISSUES. For three days, the car sat there, waiting... I had even called the service guy on Friday, left a voice message, "Please don't forget the recall issues!" He admitted receiving the message, to his credit. At least he didn't lie. They offered that if I came back another day, they'd give me a rental car, but it takes nearly an hour each way to get there and back from my home. I do not have time for "Extra Trips" like this. Their free Uber service helps, but time is more important than $$, sometimes. Humans make mistakes. I get it. But this very poor or careless communication all around, and really a very dissappointing first experiene with this service center. read more

OK. I'm a female who knows NOTHING about cars. That's why I drive a Honda. But this place is generally nice. They have a shuttle so you can drop your car off and get a ride to work. I've never know them to loan cars. My ex drove luxury vehicles and HIS car company would give loaners. I have always driven Honda's and NEVER known a Honda dealership to do that. But hey, maybe I haven't lived? If you stay while your car is being serviced, be prepared for a high pressure sales tactic to buy a new car. But as my girls would start texting me ... DON'T DO IT. Stick with what you came for which in my case is service as my car works just fine. Can't speak on price as I stated originally, I know NOTHING about cars. I take my car here when the engine light comes on or when it needs routine maintenance. They perform maintenance on my car and it reliably gets me from point A to point B. If I could leave negative stars for this business, I would. I brought my 2016 Honda Civic in because I was hearing a noise and wanted to get it checked out. The day I brought my car in, they were overbooked and couldn't see me. I had to make another appointment to come in and when I did, Chris, the service agent told me I needed to replace my transmission. Unbeknownst to me, my transmission warranty was in its last week. Nobody mentioned this to me because I would've had it replaced then. Chris told me to go somewhere else(because the dealer was so high) and get a transmission flush and see if that solved the problem. I went somewhere else and they told me whoever last worked on my car(Curry Honda) left my transmission cap off and left my vehicle exposed. I went back and spoke with the service manager Sarah Stewart and she told me there was nothing she could do for me. After about a week, it dawned on me that my vehicle only had 70,000 miles on it and should still be under warranty. I called and couldn't get anyone on the phone, so I went back up there on my day off. I spoke with James in finance. He told me because I purchased my vehicle in 2019, none of my records were digitized and they had no record of a warranty. Luckily for me I kept my paperwork and it was confirmed that I was still within warranty. He told me to only speak with VP at the service center because he was the only one to work with certified pre-owned vehicles. I left work twice on a Thursday and Friday to speak directly with him and he wasn't there(another example of them giving me the run around and wasting my time!). I finally spoke with Chris, who said he spoke with VP and he took my keys. That was Saturday afternoon. He told me they would begin to work on my transmission and that it would take a few days. I told him to have VP call me once they started the work. Monday came around and I never heard from VP, so I called myself. To my surprise VP told me that by this time my car was no longer under warranty and that there wasn't anything he could do. He gave me the number to American Honda and basically said good luck trying to get them to do anything. I called and spoke with managers and explained that I was still within warranty when I initially visited Honda and pleaded with them to honor the warranty. The manager then told me that the certified warranty was through Curry Honda and that the decision was completely up to them, which was no. I am so disappointed in the lack of professionalism I received during this entire ordeal. It took me over a month of calling, visiting, and emailing Honda, only for them to use that time against me and not honor my vehicle warranty. Chris even took my phone on one of my visits and tricked me into him filling out his own survey for my visit because he said they were beginning to deduct money from their pay due to bad reviews done through Honda. Poor service experience There probably is not enough space here to speak to all of the issues within the service department at Curry Honda. 1) Their internal communications are really poor. Seems the ONLY person who can find your car is the person who you dropped it off with. 2) The sales manager is completely oblivious to everything including when you dropped your car off (she literally argued with me that I dropped it off a day after I did just to absolve her of any fault. 3) If you have an issue, talking to a sales manager will do no good. Sara did not listen at all, totally rebuked my hypothesis and said they never spray chemicals in the detail shop (which we all know is not true and as a result my windshield was so spotted, it had to be hand polished for hours since no cleaner would remove whatever they SPRAYED on it). She did ask who my advisor was and when I said BOB, she said we don't have a BOB. I then described BOB as a 6', 190lb african American and she said she had nobody by that description. I then got the receipt and found his name was actually BEN. I guess she wasn't going to connect those dots for me. By the way, BEN (who was a nice guy) was maybe one of two African American service advisors which begs the question does the service manager even know her staff! I asked what was sprayed and she said she could not tell me that without bringing it in. I asked for the MSDS sheet which is an OSHA requirement, she again said she could not provide that without bringing it in. I was not about to leave my car again with a dealership who doesn't keep up with their cars, has no control or oversight over what is being done to them once they enter the shop and cannot answer questions or take ownership of sloppy work. I went in for an oil leak. They supposedly changed the oil pan, timing belt assy, water pump, seals, etc. They charged $2500, approx. They misled me into thinking that was it. Within less than 2 months, I was back with oil leaking more than before. They told me they did not work on that section. Per an independent mechanic, there was no way they did not know that I had the other leak problem. They planned on me coming back for a 2nd repair. When I did, they allowed the same mechanic to work on the car! They told me they did not repair that part, and the charge for that was also thousands. Now- for the 3rd trip-I have antifreeze coming out on the ground. I was told I have a leak from the water pump per another reputable service company. They say the timing belt, seals, etc. are destroyed because it's soiled with coolant. All need to be replaced again. All this happened within 6 months. I've been getting my oil changes at Curry Honda as long as I've had my Civic (I get my car serviced for free as part of a package I purchased with the car). Therefore, I can't speak much into the competency of the technicians with anything besides oil changes. However, I will say that the service has exceeded my expectations each time. Although I am technically "paying" because I purchased a package, there is nothing I have to pay when I'm actually there. I usually find that when I get things done for "free," people treat you differently. However, Honda has been extremely professional and cordial. Even when extra work/attention is required, they contact me via phone {and then text if I miss the call} to notify me of what extra services are required and how much extra I'm looking at cost-wise. When I decline {because I have a separate mechanic for my other needs}, they are very polite and professional about it instead of trying to convince me to get it done while my car is being serviced. With all that said, I really, really love Curry Honda's {brand} new and improved service center. The waiting room is HUGE and offers a variety of different types of sitting areas. There are round tables with chairs, rectangular tables {these tables have built in outlets!!!} with high chairs, couches facing each other, and couches near a TV. 3 of the walls are practically made of glass, providing an incredible amount of sunlight. They also provide complimentary water, coffee, and tea while also offering a couple vending machines. One of my favorite things about Honda service centers these days is that they also provide free Uber service to and from whatever destination you need to get to. THANK YOU HONDA. I don't know about all the others but I always feel so valued whenever I visit Curry Honda. read more

First off I'm told they take appointments for oil changes. They do but they don't honor the time you ask for... then it takes them up to 2 hours to perform a simple oil change and tire rotation. They were at lest friendly as they try to get you to pay for extra stuff. Seems like they need to just honor their appointment times and things would go faster. Last time I came they didn't offer appointments and the same wait time.. not sure what's going on here. Do you or do you not take appointments, and if you do just honor the time agreed on. Lol I left with something I didn't even think I would like, wanted to settle. Had a Carmax written appraisal from up the street. Smart move. I wasn't given anything less than that for my 2010 Nissan Rogue trade. No feelings of being low balled. I test drive two vehicles. Left with a tank of gas and 2014 Honda CRV-EX with only 11 miles on it. All the cool stuff inside. Rides nice. Thank you Curry Honda. Once they took and DID not perform the service they still charged me for it because they "took a look" to see if the service was needed but they discovered it was not. Then after they serviced my car the lights kept coming on again and again stating the service was not done. After weeks of going back and forth with them they still refused to refund my money and only offered a free oil change. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Unprofessionalism at its finest. John Nadeau. People don't tend to like having to take their cars into get something looked at other than the routine services. I feel that's the service advisors should be doing all they can to make this a smooth process. I came in with my SRS light on looking to get it repaired and, like always, they find every issue with your car. Which didn't surprise me, but the aggression of the salesman was so off-putting. I already understood my car had a few other issues to be prepared, but the way he communicated it was so unprofessional. He explained to me what was wrong in detail. I think the initial quote for the repair was $900. Before I left he quoted me for $1200 and $1500. It was actually quite ridiculous. I went through my though the list of charges and explained how I was willing to opt out of some of them and he went and said "it's only $100 extra dollars what's that to $1200?!". What salesman says that to a customer. You don't know my living situation and who are you to insinuate the value of $100 to me. He said it to me MULTIPLE times. I was livid. I also watched him use the same tactic to a man who arrived right after me. Who trained this man? After waiting 3 hours for a reply on how long the repairs were, I got fed up and asked if I could get a rental for the day since it was taking much longer than I was planned. It took 1 hour for them to organize the rental service to pick me up. During this whole ordeal I remained in contact with John to make sure I was prepared when my vehicle was ready for pick up. Around 5 PM John text me and told me come get my car. I left work immediately went straight to the dealership to get my car. It took me around 20 minutes to arrive at the dealership and when I got there John wasn't there. Apparently he has just taken a lunch break after I informed him I was on the way. So I asked if another person could help me retrieve my car and all they could do was call John which I had been doing since I got there. 45 minutes later John appeared. Completely unapologetic and got me my keys. He then informed me that I would have to bring my car back because the reason I brought my car into the dealership (SRS/seatbelt) hadn't been fixed yet. LIVID and HORRIBLE customer service and communication. Never taking my Honda to this dealership again and I recommend you NEVER go anywhere near John Nadeau. **2 month update**: My seat belt that they "fixed"'started to stick when trying to get out of it. I felt the need to share my story in case others have a similar experience. I can no longer trust Curry Honda as I believe I paid over $1300 for an unnecessary repair. I will present the facts and let you decide. In April 2022, my 2016 Honda Odyssey's check engine light came on along with "check emissions system" and "low oil pressure" warnings. I immediately took it into Curry Honda who diagnosed the problem as "faulty rocker arm oil pressure sensor - high voltage" and "replaced oil pressure sensor for code P0523 to address oil light". The front spool valve and rocker arm pressure switch by the oil pump were both replaced at a cost of $1335.75 (after coupon). I got the car home and that night the same errors triggered again. So back to Curry Honda to have it reworked. This time the diagnosis was "found issues with wire harness feeding into the sensor for oil control" and repaired it at no additional charge. I confronted service management as I believe the wiring harness would have been the original culprit and a much less expensive repair. Service management refused to further address the situation saying the technician found a "nick in the wiring harness" and it was "a completely different issue as it was on the other side". If the wiring harness was nicked on the first visit, then it was undoubtedly the cause of the original high voltage issue, and therefore the replacement of the front spool valve and rocker arm pressure switches were completely unnecessary. I'm putting this out there in case others experience repairs that seem unnecessary or improperly diagnosed. I will be escalating to Honda of America. Legal counsel is also reviewing. Edit: Yes, service management did attempt to explain that it was "a completely different issue" yet they did the rework at no charge without me asking which according to Honda's customer advocacy is an admission the original repair wasn't the root cause and therefore unnecessary. read more

I'm writing this review after my third and final visit for maintenance services. I'm fed up with their poor customer service, outrageous wait times and inconsistency amongst the service staff. On this last visit, I had a appointment time for 1:20 but I wasn't seen by a rep until 2:05. They were pretty busy so I patiently waited in my car, only to be told they didn't see my appointment in their system. Thank goodness I had an email confirmation as proof. If not, they weren't going to see me because they were so busy. After they agreed to accept my vehicle, the rep I was working with quoted me an inflated price for my service. When I made the appointment, I was told it would cost $44.95 for the oil change, rotation and multipoint inspection (that's what I usually pay without coupons) but my rep tried to add an additional $15 because "I didn't purchase my car there." I didn't appreciate having to haggle with him because I've been a loyal customer and because I waited so long in the first place. I won't be back! read more

In the past, we had good experiences here, but the most recent experience leaves me doubting whether we will go back. We had a car towed to Curry Honda because of a dead starter. Curry said it was cost $895 to replace the starter. We then towed the car to Far East Motor Works, who replaced the starter for about $400. Curry also told us the car needed brake work even though it didn't. Far East Motor Works said the brakes were about 50% worn and no work was needed. We paid Curry approximately $90 for the evaluation I described above. We already suspected the starter was bad; Curry was wrong about the brakes, and Curry quoted a ridiculous price to replace the starter. We'll just go to Far East Motor Works first next time. read more

I had my regular oil change here today, and this will be the last time I visit this place. The service is ok, but the advisor I had (his name is David Charles) was completely unprofessional and terrible. He didn't communicate anything to me about my vehicle. That is ok. But when I asked him how long more it'll take to finish my vehicle, he told me about 15min. An hour later, it's still not done. I could have gone running errand during that time. Of course I don't appreciate being lied to. Then after I got my key back, my vehicle is no where to be found. They parked it somewhere far away, that the car alarm sounded very distant. After 15 more minutes, they still looked for someone to bring my car back to the shop. It's basically wasting my time, and also the overall customer service is very unprofessional. 1. Took the car in for airbag recall, car returned with low tire pressure light. 2. Next time wrong part ordered twice. 3. Brought in a CRV right after I bought it because the remote wouldn't lock the doors. Was told needed a new door lock actuator cost of $600 and something. Decided to replace myself, bought the part and then decided to investigate a dash light. Turns out the rear hatch wasn't properly closed. I closed it and the doors locked fine. Yep. Curry Honda mechanics couldn't recognize a dash light telling me my hatch wasn't closed. 4. Heard loud wheel noise from the rear, made appointment brought car in, said "I think it needs bearings". They checked the car out said no would 't need bearings with only 38k miles recommended new tires. Bought new tires, same noise. Took to an independent shop, needed both rear wheel bearings replaced. Noise Is gone. I can say the people there are nice, but it is the worst run service dept I've ever seen by a long shot. Obviously I won't be back. read more

I had a great experience buying a new Honda Accord here. Having recently driven my BMW, I skeptically visited Honda on a whim. Kenny greeted me and enthusiastically took me out back on a golf cart and explained all the different models. He was also very quick to jump on any requests or questions I had. I drove about 8 different sedans and eventually decided that the Accord was a great fit for me - something I did not expect being a former BMW owner. When I came back, Kenny remembered me. My advice to future customers: do not use Curry Honda for repairs. The long story is below. First, I emailed it to a number of people at Curry; the operations manager called me, made excuses, and promised an unspecified refund--that never showed up. My usual mechanic told me that the power steering problem on my Honda Fit had to be repaired at a dealership. I have used Curry Honda before with decent results, but, overall, this experience was disastrous. There were a few positive elements, including an Uber ride home at no extra itemized cost, a couple of polite and prompt employees, at least nine apologies, and an accurate completion date (the fourth time). There were three elements that were a mix of positive and negative: a rental car was offered, the details were provided when I asked, and it was possible to add days to the rental, beyond the estimated date the repair would be finished. However, the rental was not offered until nine days had passed, and it wasn't available until the eleventh day because Enterprise is only open a half day on weekends. The additional days were available "if needed," but I had already said I needed them, and I never learned if they were actually authorized or not. There were many negative elements. The worst was the price. In addition to being a very expensive repair, and all of the problems that went along with it, I was given what any customer can get on Curry's website: a 10% discount. A mystery charge called "shop supplies" offset the discount on labor. The same Honda part is more expensive at Curry that at a nearby dealership (Gwinnett Place), and much, much higher than prices at non-Honda online sources (which might or might not be a fair comparison). The first three promised completion dates were wrong. Responses to my text messages took a long time, or were not answered at all. The ETA of the part was off by more than 48 hours--and when it arrived on the seventh or eighth day, they discovered that they ordered the wrong part. When I asked for an updated completion date, I was told the part was in Georgia. I asked for a breakdown of prices for parts, labor, etc. but did not receive an answer until I picked up the car and saw the invoice. It seems that the service advisor assigned to a customer is the only one who can tell the customer the status of a car in the service department. The service advisor assigned to me said "they did give us a eta of 3-5 days" at about noon on the fifth day, and he said he did not know about a service bulletin or any problem with power steering on Honda Fits, which I found easily after a web search. One Curry Honda employee interacted with customers without wearing a mask, and a couple of other employees wore masks below their noses. When I picked up my car, two of the items I store in the car were on the driver's side floorboard, including a device that had been plugged in to the data port under the steering column, and Curry Honda papers giving the car a number were left on the seat. Presumably, the battery was disconnected at some point, resulting in a "code error" display on the radio/clock/CD player, but no one entered the code in, offered to look up the code, or even let me know that the radio needed attention. Ironically, after all this, I was asked (via an automated text message) if I would rate the service as excellent. I repeat my advice to future customers: do not use Curry Honda for repairs. If you have to, tell them you want to use all the coupons that are available on their website. Ask for the estimated completion date in writing. Ask ahead of time about rental car options. Keep in mind that they use Enterprise, which closes at noon on Saturday and is closed on Sunday. Ask if customers can provide their own parts. If not, ask whether the part is in stock or needs to be ordered. If it needs to be ordered, ask if the delivery will take two days or a week. Ask for an experienced service advisor. Ask for a back-up service advisor who will also know about your repair. Ask for the cost of the part and the estimate for labor. Ask what the charge for "shop supplies" is. Ask them what a reasonable time frame is for responses to text messages and voicemail messages. Ask if a supervisor monitors the use of masks by employees. Ask if someone looks over the car at the end, if workers leave the car in good condition, and if workers dispose of Curry's internal papers like car repair numbers. read more
