I love getting takeout here! The portions are a great size (always last me 2-3 meals) for a good price and everything is delicious. I usually go for the saag paneer and garlic naan, but there are a ton of vegetarian options I need to try. They're also super fast! Highly recommend! read more

The food was absolutely delicious, I got the shahi paneer which was one of the best paneer dishes I've ever had. We also got the paneer stuffed naan and mango kulfi, all amazing and well priced. Will definitely be coming again! Our server was very kind as well. read more

I ordered take out and the quality of the chicken was questionable. The meat seemed really stale and it was mainly bone and cartilage. I couldn't eat it. Alot of these great reviews must be made up. Wow I really underestimated this place due to the English name, thinking it was going to be Americanized cuisine (meh), but I was proven oh so wrong. I ordered twice and both times the food was very fresh and flavorful. I recommend the Afghan tikka-it's a white fish cooked in yogurt and seasoning. There are giant grilled onion pieces and green pepper in the mix and it comes with rice - combined with whole wheat roti, this makes for a delightful and healthy meal. And I can honestly say this is the first Indian restaurant I've been to in the neighborhood that has satisfied my bougie foodie cravings. It was a rainy night, and my partner and I were thinking of ordering in, but I'd been inside all day so was itching to go out. We compromised and decided to check out Curry Leaf for the first time since its opening a few months ago about a block away from where we live. We couldn't be happier. Every dish was cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful, and well textured. There wasn't anything we didn't love! We ordered the Samosa Chaat as an appetizer (WOW, HIGHLY RECOMMEND, so many flavors and a nice balance of textures, and we used the naan to scrape up every bit of sauce left over), the Desi Butter Chicken (super tender bone-in dark meat with a delicious savory red sauce), garlic naan (crispy like thin-crust pizza and honestly just perfect), and two mango lassis. The interior is modest and cozy, and I'd say there is a bit of a discrepancy between the high quality of the food and the interior, but I'd take that over the opposite any day. I'm there to eat, after all, and they've got their priorities straight. Oh, and the service was impeccable. The waiter was incredibly kind and attentive from beginning to end. He even brought out a dessert on the house for us. So so sweet. Needless to say, we will be back and often. read more

The Gobi Aloo is absolutely delicious. Definitely has a kick so be cautious if you're sensitive to spice. My food was ready quickly and the employee was friendly when I went to pick it up. Woo, first review! I went here last night with my bestie, and we loved the food. The server was also so nice! I noticed that my favorite things that I ate here are usually my least favorite things to eat at other Indian restaurants, so these people really do it right. I appreciate they made me discover how good it actually can be. The palak paneer was pretty good. The cheese was flavorful, which is not always a given. We also had the lamb stuffed naan, which I didn't even know was a thing! The fish and pepper fritters were excellent, and they brought out a complimentary little dessert that I'm not usually a big fan of, but loved it at this place! Not sure what it's called because we didn't order it, but it's the balls of dough in the simple syrup sauce. They're very good here, I recommend them! read more

While I have only stopped in once on a random walk by today, I will already leave a 5 star for I left really helping to brighten up my Sunday. Nice and quaint design. Fine enough so I would feel comfortable bringing a business associate or a new date. The staff are very nice people and accommodating in finding what dishes would be best for my visit. As for the food, as I said it was my 1st visit, but the garlic naan was on point and the chicken Makni was absolutely excellent. That isn't coming from an infrequent visitor to Indian cuisine but someone who travels consistently across the U.S. and quite a bit around the world eating out quite a bit of every week. I feel like the reviews here are made by the people who work there. I went here for take out twice. The first time I order takeout, they gave me more portions because it was grand opening, but after a month, I went in and ordered again, and the portion was so small. The curry was so small portion and the rice a small Chinese cup. The price was ridiculously expensive for the portion. The chicken... the chicken they put inside the curry is terrible!! There's no meat in them only bones and cartilage. Is gross!!! It happened both times I bought from them. The taste of the curry is too sweet and is not supposed to taste the way they make it. I have been to better restaurants and I will not go back to this one ever again. read more

Absolutely amazing, as a south Asian I'm pretty picky about good Indian food. The chicken curry reminds me of my grandmothers recipe. I come here at least 1-2 times a week now.
