Many different flavors of which I remember Strawberry/Kiwi, Pineapple, Coconut, Peach and Passion Fruit. I had the Curry Shrimp and Grits. I kept an open mind to not expect a Cajun style meal, and I did well because this was definitely a Jamaican spin on it. I wish they had grilled the shrimp first to get that smoky flavor which would elevate the dish further. It was well seasoned and the grits were just a tad runnier than I would like, but better so than under cooked. A tip for all my "spicy food lovers." If you love hot sauce, don't go up in there asking for no hot sauce. They will bring you PEPPER sauce. And if you take it and drizzle it all over your food thinking it's some Louisiana hot sauce or Tabasco, you're in for a VERY RUDE awakening - or death. Caribbeans do not play with that heat! It is in another dimension... heed my warning - one of the people in my group didn't. It was a hilarious experience to watch. The ambiance of the place is very intimate, they had a live musician playing the sax and also recorded music which was very fitting to the atmosphere. Everything had a really good vibe. But what sends this place from a 4 to 5 start is the serving staff. You can tell they love what they do and have fun bringing joy to the customers. First of all... the level of service here is phenomenal. They were running a dinner service with limited staff but still were able to maintain a full dining room, bar and take out orders. I started off ordering a margarita- made to perfection. You can tell the bartender has been around the block. For my entree I was debating between the jerk chicken and oxtails. After viewing pictures on Yelp, I ultimately went with the oxtails. They did not disappoint. The flavor blew me away! They were served with carrots and potatoes, rice and peas and a side of cabbage. If I had to give them any criticism it would be that some of the potatoes and carrots were not cooked fully. Only 2 pieces total, so this did not take away from the entire meal, which was a home run! I have been craving Caribbean food since we arrived in Memphis from Miami. Curry n Jerk delivered. The food was perfection. I was greeted on the phone for when I placed my carry out order. The carry out service was perfection. We have been countless restaurants during the pandemic m, but this was one of the only restaurants where the staff was hospitable and actually talked to us. The service charge was 15% for the staff, but we will happily support +20% for future visits. We start with bottomless Mimosas which were DELICIOUS by the way! We proceed to order the grilled jerk chicken and waffles and open faced Jamaican omelette.
