Mind you, there were at least 4 other people in the showroom when I arrived: no acknowledgement of my presence. After discussion and Q&A, I set up an appointment for the person to come to my house and see the space, answer more questions, take some measurements; that was 11/12 2025. It has been 6 months, with no follow up. At all. from anyone, in any form.

After seeing the television advertising for 10 Day Kitchen Solutions, we scheduled an appointment…read moreand visited the showroom. I'll start by saying the showroom is beautiful and the products appear to be high quality. Our kitchen is very small, approximately 4x8, so we were surprised when the estimate came in at $50,000. What made that especially difficult to justify was that the price did not include appliances, or our quartz countertops that we wanted. This was primarily for demolition, installation, and cabinetry. One advantage they promote is speed. Traditional kitchen remodels can take months between design appointments, ordering cabinets, and contractor scheduling, so I understand paying more for convenience and a faster timeline. However, for comparison purposes, we ultimately completed our kitchen elsewhere. We selected upgraded features including pull-out shelves, pantry storage, lazy susan corner cabinet, garbage cabinet, and quartz countertops, and our final cost was $15,500 in total ($13,000 for the cabinetry + $2,500 for tbe quartz countertop). That means our quote from 10 Day Kitchen Solutions was more than three times higher, while still not including countertops or the appliances. This review is not about quality, we thought the showroom and products looked excellent. It simply came down to affordability and value. For homeowners with larger budgets who prioritize speed, this may be a good fit. For us as seniors, paying cash, and not financing, the pricing put it out of reach.

The first is simple and contemporary, the second involved an intricate pattern of colorful tiles forming wall-size images. Sara worked with us on the design, asking many questions to understand our aesthetic aims and practical needs, and offering a variety of options for us to choose among to achieve our goals. She also provided a variety of very effective ideas and solutions, considering the physical constraints of the (relatively small) spaces, to ensure the best use of spaces and to create a very open feel in both bathrooms, all in a cost-effective manner. The actual construction was done in an extremely professional manner by workers who were not only highly-skilled but also friendly, considerate of our needs, and responsive to our questions and concerns as the projects progressed. Particularly impressive, amazing really, was the tile work performed by Cliff. The colorful bathroom involved laying more than 1,000 tiles, and cutting more than 100 tiles to create the intricate design. It also involved the fitting of the many tiles to very close tolerance specifications. Cliff was both masterful and highly conscientious in completing this tile work. The result is stunning. In addition, along the way in both bathrooms, specific questions arose about alternative approaches to implementing features of the design. Cliff identified and raised these questions for us to think about, and he offered aesthetically pleasing solutions. In short, Cliff's work was thoughtful, technically masterful, and informed by his strong sense of aesthetic beauty. We are most impressed by Kitchen and Bath World for their general approach, their implementation, and the final product in renovating both bathrooms. Kitchen and Bath World has our highest recommendation.

They had been recommended through our main contract with Kitchen and Bath (kiba) Studios of Clifton Park. I'm reviewing Dream Builders & Remodeling separately because of how pleased we are with the outstanding work they performed. Owner John and his assistant demonstrated exceptional skills whether working with tiling, plumbing, or woodworking. Because we needed extensive electrical work to be done John arranged for a subcontractor to do that work. John made some suggestions early on in our project that not only addressed the aesthetics of a room but also improved its functioning. He and his assistant always arrived to work at the scheduled time and put in a full day's work. They made every effort to protect the areas they needed to pass through by using floor and stair coverings. They were very pleasant and courteous individuals who respected our home and did not blast radios or swear while working. We were so pleased with the quality of their work that during a period of downtime while we waited for a cabinet to replace one that had arrived damaged, we entered a direct contract with John to upgrade the trim around the windows of three bedrooms and to paint the walls and ceilings of those bedrooms. There is no doubt that we will be contacting John at Dream Builders & Remodeling again when we identify another project to be undertaken.

In between those major projects, John and Bob have replaced all the interior windows and rebuilt old window frames to match. John and Bob just completed the replacement of our deck surface with Trex. When an issue arose, we discussed the issue, and John always had viable solutions that solved the matter. The quality of their work is reflected throughout our house, and we have recommended John and his company to many friends in considering house remodeling projects.

We've returned to them time after time for the following reasons: - Honesty. All of the work Warren has done for us involved a contract containing an exhaustive list of the scope of the work and an estimate. We could depend on Warren to deliver as promised. - Workmanship. Warren does things right, both safety-wise and aesthetically. Carpentry, caulking, painting, tile work, flooring, electrical work, plumbing--everything works as it should and looks great. - Problem-solving. Warren is a creative thinker and has often come up with solutions to difficult issues. He draws on a lifetime of experience in the construction industry to solve novel problems. - Value. The first time I met Warren, he told me, "I won't give you the cheapest quote, but I'll give you good value for your money." He has delivered on that promise. His work done seven years ago has stood the test of time. - Collaboration. Warren has always been interested in getting our input in projects and has been open to new ideas along the way. He is friendly, easy-going, and respectful, and is a good communicator. When friends and neighbors share horror stories about contractors they've hired, we tell them about our experience with Warren Lashway. They tell us we've been very lucky, and we agree. We recommend Lashway Construction without reservation.
