Excellent cooking! Had my son's graduation party catered and our guests were all at awe with how delicious all the dishes were. We ordered the pulled pork, brisket, chicken franchese, shrimp scampi over linguini, poached salmon and penne vodka. Guests came back for seconds and third servings and there were still left overs. So I reached out this business for potentially catering my wedding. I met with Chris with my fiance and just did not have a good experience. I felt that he wasn't open to listening to what we needed - instead he showed me pictures on his phone of what they've done. Throughout, i felt like he kept trying to sell us rather then listen to what we want or need. He was also inappropriately pushy, after we tasted the food he said most people decide if they are going to go with them. As a client, I can see whoever fits best - not ok at all that he felt that he could be that pushy. Because of his attitude and demeanor, I already did not want to work with his company. The ironic thing is that the food was actually tasty. Visually a bit greasy but tasty. He was not a client-focused person and so I do not recommend this service for anyone who finds customer service very important. read more

I rarely give 5 stars but Custodi has earned it. Catering for a house party 40 guests. First off Chris is so easy to work with and will try to accommodate all of your requests. The food arrived on time and was set up nicely. They bring everything. I was having a casual party but they can also do formal affairs. Food was excellent - the pasta with vodka sauce and eggplant parm were outstanding. But everything was fresh and homemade. Three things I would suggest you consider: 1) the paper goods they brought were not highest quality - they supplied more than enough but next time I will supply my own; 2) the green salad was fine but dressing was great - next time I will order a more interesting salad; 3) trays are big - you will have more than enough food - trust Chris when he says you have more than enough! I will use Custodi for all my events big and small and would recommend you do the same. read more

Their food gets better and better every year. The Penne were delicious, the meatballs were mouthwatering (just like Mama used to make), Eggplant Parm & sausage & peppers, fantastic. If I had to say one negative thing it would be about the chicken fingers. I was not a fan. They were dry & hard. But the rest of the food far out weighed the chicken. Custodi truly is as good as it gets. I hired them to cater a family party with over 100 guests. I was unsure of how much food to order, but both Chris and Ron guided me through it and answered all of my crazy questions. Their menu is huge, with many options to choose from. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Delivery and setup was seamless, and the food was fresh, hot and EXCELLENT! We ordered a variety of food, from sandwiches to the Italian staples (meatballs, penne vodka), to some seafood, and everything was absolutely delicious. Custodi catered my Thanksgiving and it was absolutely fantastic. I will never take on all That stress again. I took a chance and walked in one day ( it smelled really good in there) and ordered. It was the best decision. Ever. First, they make all food on Thanksgiving, so you are not dealing with cooling down and reheating, which can impact the taste. Since we live close by, my husband picked up our food an hour before dinner and all I had to do was keep it warm in the oven. The turkey was seasoned perfectly, moist and delicious. We don't care for dark meat so I opted for their sliced breast tray and it was wonderful.... I lifted the beautifully carved meat onto the platter. So easy! The gravy was also very well seasoned and flavorful. My family ( all of whom are very good cooks) raved over the traditional sausage and sage stuffing. We also tried the parsley and bacon mashed potatoes, which had an amazing flavor, again, very well seasoned with a subtle smokiness of the bacon coming through and nice chewy bits throughout. The Glazed carrots were also delightful. They were beautifully cooked, tender yet firm, with a delicious light glaze that hinted of brown sugar, cinnamon and maple ( to my palate at least). I also made a few things myself ( yes- I nuked the corn and made green beans ...) My family all cheerfully left with bags of leftovers and called days later to say how delicious everything was. This is a gem of a caterer. They know how to season food and deliver flavor even when dealing with large orders. I am definitely coming back for my next holiday. I can finally enjoy my holidays now.... No more stress and hours of shopping and cooking Thank you Custodi Catering!
