This second visit just didn't feel as relaxing from a customer-service standpoint. My partner called ahead for a 7 PM couples massage. The owner asked if we could come at 6:30, but we already had other plans and wouldn't make it. She said 7 was fine. When we arrived, though, we were asked if we could do separate massages instead. We specifically booked a couples massage because we wanted to relax together, so we asked how long the wait would be. She said about 20 minutes, and we said we were okay with waiting. But the response made it feel like waiting wasn't really being encouraged, and we felt a little pressured to just separate. My partner agreed since we had already driven about 25 minutes and didn't want to search for another place last minute. There was also some confusion about whether my massage was 60 or 90 minutes. I had requested 90, but both the owner and then my massage therapist asked if it was 60. Thankfully, my therapist was able to accommodate the full 90 minutes, and the massage itself was great. I do think there may have been somewhat of a language barrier, so I'm trying to be understanding about some of the communication issues. At the same time, when I'm going somewhere for a massage, I really want the whole experience to feel calm and relaxing... not like I'm having to figure out whether my appointment, room, or massage length is actually what I booked. I also missed the heated bed in the couples room. The individual room I was placed in didn't have one, and that small difference definitely made it harder for me to fully unwind. Overall, I still think they give great massages for a really good price. I completely understand that being affordable and good at what you do means you're probably going to be busy. I just wish the scheduling and customer experience felt a little more organized and accommodating, so customers don't feel pressured or overlooked when they already made an appointment. Also FYI, they prefer cash and charge a service fee for Venmo or card.

I was escorted to the room and Just like any other Thai Massage, you take off all our clothes except for your panties (or underwear) and lay on the massage bed with a light bedsheet over you. The room looked like a typical Thai Massage room. I had alot of tightness, knots, and soreness on my back muscles and needed strong presser for this session. Nita had the hands and strength for that. I love pressure and can tolerate it - most times I have to tell someone to apply more. Nita applied perfect strong pressure I was looking for. She even kept checking on me to see if I was okay of it was too much - yah my ooh's and ahh's were not silent! I was 100% okay thru the session. it hurt SO good! The temperature is similar to hot stones but since it's wood the heat isn't kept and the rotation of bamboos to reheat was needed. I really liked her technique, and she was able to identify and target my knots. Her pressure was spot-on using a combination of hands, knuckles, elbows, and walking on my back. During my session, she suggested that I try cupping and the bamboo massage, and I'm glad I agreed. She implemented the cupping and bamboo into my session, and I think this really helped loosen my muscles as well. I can tell that Jane really cares about her customers, and wants to help them feel better by providing a great experience. The location has plenty of easy parking, and the inside is clean and quiet.
