Being told upon arrival that they couldn't honor a confirmed booking was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I understand that technical errors can happen, but when a customer has a confirmed booking with a reference number, there should be better coordination between their booking platform and the spa. At the very least, there should be an effort to accommodate the client or offer a meaningful solution. If you are booking for a special occasion, I would strongly recommend calling ahead to verbally confirm your appointment to avoid this kind of situation. Very disappointed with how this was handled.

I would have preferred spending time on my neck and shoulders which is why I needed a massage. This was my 15-year old athlete's first massage. He has an injured back and scoliosis and nobody asked me what he needed or any areas to avoid. He really needed someone to work on releasing the back tightness. Walking on his back was a dangerous move with his back. I was aware of the tipping and appreciated the transparency on yelp so I thought it would be more discrete, they mentioned having having envelopes. Instead the ladies were just standing there as I open my wallet. I didn't even get a chance to talk to my son about his experience. It was his first massage and it was not a good first experience. Spent $140 on both of our massages and tipped $20 each which I wouldn't have but with them both standing there I didn't want to have them split a $20 bill. I have gone to the "foot massage" places and it was similar but with private room and clothes off. But much more expensive than the "foot massages", was sad to spend $180 and feel"meh" after. I would have rather had my house cleaned or gone to a spa and use all the amenities and get a massage or pedicure. My son gave it a 3 out of 10.
