Just wanted to share Soda and Nono Bean are still looking cute as buttons (photo proof included)…read moreover a month after their last appt, getting ready for another grooming soon.

Brought my elderly (domestic shorthair) cat here because he's squirmy and not very good at cleaning…read morehimself. Asked for mostly a nail trim (they're becoming a health risk) and sure, why not, a bath. While he was in, they called me and told me he was shedding quite a bit (he does, but not excessively) and said they'd deshed him. I expected a bit of an upcharge for the brushing, but was surprised to see that my bill had literally doubled. They charged the same amount for a brushout as they would for a full shave. I felt a little taken by the upsell without telling me up front what the cost would be. Had I known it would have doubled the price of the appointment, I would not have agreed. They did a decent job but I am not entirely pleased with the way that this was handled. Edit: I have adjusted my review based on the behavior of management. Rather than cast blame at someone for not having a facebook conversation from more than a week ago on hand during a rushed phone conversation and messaging me on facebook with screenshots as a "gotcha", perhaps a small mea culpa of "yes perhaps we should confirm the price before going ahead" could have worked better and I would have been satisfied with that. I paid for the services that I agreed to, although I did feel a bit taken not knowing the cost, and I tipped, everything past this is just customer service, and the defensive behavior of the management towards someone who was perhaps a bit stung at getting charged double in what was a surprise due to poor communication is not a good sign for potential customers as to how this business handles problems when they arise.

Horrible experience. I took my dog into there to have an aural hematoma fixed (think cauliflower…read moreear in humans). He recommended surgery which went well I suppose but when I picked her up her ear was still bleeding (no bandages were put on the many, many stitches needed), they said it heals faster without. I returned 2 weeks later to have the stitches removed - NIGHTMARE- I guess my dog was moving too much so they gave her a sedative and told me to return in 2 hours. My dog was still reluctant to have them removed, the vet gave up and let the assistant/receptionist (she had to leave a couple times to answer the phone) do it and asked that I assist as well. I have no idea where he went. We managed to get some of the stitches out but when she sliced the inside of my dogs ear and was asking me pin her on her side and hold her legs down and I could see my dog in great distress and struggling to get free scared to death. I said "this isn't working". I was told my dog was too stressed out to remove the remaining stitches and I was to take her home and take the remaining stitches out myself. She was literally shaking from stress. I asked if there was any aftercare? or follow up and she wasn't sure, I do not think so, I got the strong impression she just wanted me to leave, I asked to speak with the vet but she said she didn't know where he was. I left with my dogs ear bleeding from her slicing it and went home and cleaned and bandaged up best I could. The next night I removed the remaining stitches. The swelling came back & all I could think of was I put my dog through so much trauma and stress and for what? Not to mention a hefty vet bill. There was no follow up phone call to see if she was ok? No nothing. The vet acted like he was either scared of my dog or didn't like dogs period. I took her to another vet and gratefully the swelling isn't as bad and said the body will re-absorb the blood in a couple months; gave me some antibiotics to help with any infection that might arise. Central Park Animal hospital is the worst, who lets their assistant remove stitches, makes you leave with your dog bleeding and tells you to remove the stitches yourself. Horrible take your pet somewhere else.

Below was a post I made on Google a while back, I thought posting on Yelp would be helpful as well…read more My thoughts on Dr. Sidhu's team for the care of my dog are still as great as it was from when we started seeing them in 2017. "Dr. Sidhu Sidhu and his staff are wonderful. My Shiba was not doing so well and thanks to the team at Central Park animal hospital my dog has been feeling a lot better. Dr. Sidhu always recommends what is most needed for the treatment in priority and provides quotes on every procedure that needs to be done in the current moment. He genuinely cares for your pet as if they are his own. You can tell through his interaction with his staff that his clinic provides a safe environment for your pet. Also, when my dog needed a procedure done, even though their day was fully booked with appointments, Dr. Sidhu took in my dog for treatment right away because it was needed as soon as possible. He also took the time to follow-up daily on how my dog was doing noting any changes in behaviours and recommended what the next step would be."
