Frankly they do an incredible job. Partly because Dennis has a lifelong career of being in the clothing business - from manufacturing to fabric care. When it comes to how to handle a garment, a stain , a whatever - he knows exactly what needs to be done. It's been a part of his daily life for 50 years. He also does the little things that delight his customers like: Always finding and removing spots (without my having to point them out) Collar protectors for dress shirts, so the collars don't get flattened or out of shape Folding sweaters perfectly on hangers so the necks don't stretch Tying the garment hangers together so I can easily hold them when taking home. We dropped off, he got his clothes back OK, my pants were untouched. I offered to leave a pair of pants as an example of the length I wanted with the new ones and the they said it wasn't needed. Days later my new pants were hemmed too short. Although the dry cleaning was done OK the alterations were a hassle and done incorrectly. My pants were cut and now shorter than Capri's so unwearable. We're looking for a new place.

*review is based on reply to AI find-a-business conversation only*…read more TL;DR: weren't able to do a simple alteration (due to a quality that i noted in the AI chat message sent over to them) that another business had no problem with, BUT they were quick to reply and told me no without having me come in im not sure how simple of alterations they do, but it seems to be simpler than the surrounding businesses' usual. i was requesting a simple side take-in of a polyester dress with mesh overlay (notated in the AI message sent out), but they were unable to do it. for background, i am an intermediate-level DIY seamstress, with a grandmother who runs a sewing/alterations store (a state away which is why i reached out to businesses here). this is a pretty simple alteration, so i was surprised when they said they could not do it. i drove to the closest alterations place that was open, and they had no problem with the dress fabric regarding the take in (i showed the dress before i bothered trying it on to make sure) i am attaching the details yelp provided to the business as well as the conversation. the only additional thing i added to the AI was the part of the side seams with zipper in the back, maybe altering cups (after i responded to them saying that, for the other businesses to see that information) im not sure if this is a review more so on the business or AI feature. i will say- they were quick to reply and did tell me no, rather than having me come in and telling me no or potentially messing up the dress.

No big deal at the time, because, shame on us, we didn't check. The second time we went was to get some clothing cleaned. My husband picked up his clothing, and we loaded everything up to go out of town for a funeral. Once there, he realized the pants he was given weren't his. He returned the pants to the cleaners and received a call later that day, where he was gaslit by someone from the cleaners who insisted that they were indeed his pants because they had a "video". My husband is very capable of knowing what belongs to him. Furthermore, rather than apologizing and acknowledging that a mix-up occurred, they insisted that he come in and watch the video. So, if you value your time and your clothing, do not go here.

I don't do as much dry cleaning lately because I don't wear suits and go to an office very often. Family owned and operated and you can tell because they really care about their customers as if they expect to see them again. Always greeting with a smile . Not too chatty but friendly and efficient . They're also great for getting your rugs cleaned. They don't do that on premise but it still doesn't take that long for them to send them out and get them back. They're also a good location to get alterations and minor repairs on your clothing. Even have a curtained dressing room for you to put on whatever you need fitted and they'll pin it and adjust it so it's exact. And then within a week you'll have your item back. I've never lost an item there, although I have been known to leave a brooch or business cards in a pocket and when I pick up, they're in a little Ziploc bag attached to my clothing. As a locally owned business, it's delightful to see how they support the programs in the area, particularly anything a non-profit is doing and anything that the local schools are producing. They don't offer coupons anymore. I think it's because so few people out actually dry clean from something to preferred vendor and just pay what the asking is. A bunch of other dry cleaners that used to have coupons don't offer them either. Tip is if you're dropping off and want to go through their drive up window it is best to enter down by the ophthalmologist on the corner and come around back so you're going the right way. Otherwise you have to go through and make a u-turn to come back through the drive-thru. Pick up is easy though if you just want to pull up in space just outside cuz doesn't take as long to pick up as it does to drop off.
