I loved that this company was ahead of schedule for installation and the staff on both the design and installation end are very nice and easy to work with. I'm very happy with the look and cost of our system. The negatives are, the drawers are very small. We had the closet designed to include 6 drawers because I don't have a dresser. In the design stage, I explained I need big drawers, so they made them 30" wide. However, the width front to back are narrow, and the depth of the drawers are shallow. Originally they were going to give me 4, but I added 2 more. It was my mistake to approve 2 - what they call "deep" and 4 "regular" drawers. The other issue is, as I'm putting clothes away, the drawers feel like they're going to break, they're not very sturdy. The other negative is, when the guys were demolishing the old closet shelves and rods, they pulled some of the wall texture and drywall paper off the Sheetrock. They do paint to touch up the walls, just make sure you have matching paint. We thought we did and it turned out not to match. I'm good with the hanging system and I like that you get to choose the color finish. My overall experience is so so. I say that because it has more to do with the product, not the staff. read more

Just like you I first went on Yelp to look for a company to install custom closets. It was between Custom Closet Systems, California Closets and Container Store. I choose Custom Closet Systems because we loved working and planning with Alfredo. Products were the style I was looking for, and price was not out of the water. The other companies were too commercialized for me, California Closet's quote took a lot of time and it was too expensive, Container Store was also expensive and I wanted a wood like look instead of wire metal racks. Take it from me, save some of your time and trust the Yelp reviews. Alfredo made a design before we came into the office, and I loved it already. We spoke over the phone and email for any changes, and when planning the installation and measurement date. He was very quick to respond to my emails or phone calls, he always followed up in a professional manner and basically kept the communication open. I knew we were in good hands. On the measurement visit and installation day, they were on time, were professional and had all the tools needed. Installation took only about 2 hours, and they cleaned up after themselves very nicely. It was hassle and stress free on my end. Alessandro and an employee, Alfredo, did a great job! My boyfriend was very pleased that they even had their own shoe covers, or booties, so that our carpet did not get dirty. We would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend their company to friends. The best!!! The process was simple, from Alfredo measuring the closets to Allasandro and crew installing them within a few weeks. The guys not only cleaned up after themselves but painted the walls where they had taken down the original, builder installed rods. Alfredo and his team are so wonderful and easy to work with! We got bids from around 3-4 places to build out a home office in our detached casita back in 2015. Custom Closet Systems was right in with the other bids but the professionalism and friendly, easy-going attitude of Alfredo sealed our deal with them. Our home office was 100% custom and the plans Alfredo designed matched our vision. The install was complete in about 2 days I think. Now, we had 4 closets and a niche priced out from 2 different companies and Custom Closets not only had a fair price but also were 100% custom, versus the other place that is "semi" custom. Again, the design Alfredo came up with matched our wants and needs and one of our 4 closets is an odd triangular shape and his design was superior to the other company we looked into. They guarantee their work...offered to let them know if something small was needed once we put the closet back together. If you have touch up paint they even paint around where they installed.
