I found D&S Custom Countertops online and chose to check them out. There office in Modesto provides samples of all the countertops and they have all the latest and most popular designs. To my surprise they provided me a quote for countertops that was almost $1,000 cheaper than what the big boxed stores had quoted me. I chose to have to have the hubby do the demo to save some money and throughout the whole process from the time of ordering the counters to the day of install they remained in touch with me providing updates and advice on the demo. I couldn't have been more pleased with the professionalism and installation. The photos provided show the kitchen from the time we moved in, to the demo, and to the finished product. I chose not to have the countertops up the wall so that I could install a mosaic tile backsplash. I recommended this company to anyone looking to do any remodel and will use them in the future on projects. They failed to mention that they are SUBCONTRACTERS meaning they only do certain jobs and then it's up to us to figure out the rest. And when they come they say you haven't installed a shower Pan yet.. and I'm like??? We were never told we needed too. Why weren't we told this before? My thing is, this is all new to us. We don't do all of this often nor do we know anything about showers and the repairing process. So when this guy said shower pan, don't you think they should have mentioned this all to us when we first signed up with them? Um, ya I think so. So then of course they don't even install the shower pan... they sell it, for an insane price, but they don't install it. So that got delayed even more since we had to find someone to come and install the shower pan. Finally everything is rolling. We spend an INSANE amount of money on this shower, I mean the amount of money we spent. We should of had a grand slam shower. And I blame custom marble and onyx, because as I mentioned earlier, they failed to tell me that they are sub contractors and they don't do shit and it's up to you to scurry around and find people to do different jobs. Okay so everything is in place. Now last thing we need is the shower head and handle installed and put back into place. But GUESS WHAT. We had to find someone for that too because this shit place doesn't even do that. So we had the plumber come out and he noticed these 2 small holes on the shower pans and he mentioned to get them checked out and make sure water won't be leaking. So I call the company and I speak to the "boss" named Darrel who sounded absolutely rude and Condescending. I mean if you are the boss I assume you would hear out your client and try to fix the issue rather argue and get all defensive and tell me that we should have picked a better shower pan or that all your men are experienced. Full of shit and work on your customer service because you are no boss. You are a rude person. Worst experience ever!!! Hate this place. Do not hire them. Unless you want lies. Bad customer service and a huge headache.

We ended up hiring them to install our new lowers and counters. The outlet is filled with samples on the showroom floor which is super helpful for picking out your cabinets, counters and finishes. They even let us check out samples and bring them home to help decide on what we would be installing. Before placing the order, Wade came out and measured our kitchen and helped put together a quote based on the arrangement we wanted. They put together 3D renderings of our kitchen to show us the layout alongside the quote. Their install team did quick work, and overall did a good job for what we paid for. We had a few small issues with caulking and hardware , but the salesperson Wade made sure all the issues were handled promptly.

I'm no professional but I'm pretty good at math and can tell you that measurements weren't accurate. I'm so upset and frustrated that this is such a big deal. So as my countertop is ugly and bare I have to wait even longer for them to "try" and get it right.

We have been slowly redoing spaces within our home during the pandemic and the kitchen was our…read morebiggest project yet. We wanted to get rid of our tired, builder installed ubatuba granite tops and basic backsplash with a refreshed quartz product to modernize our open concept kitchen and island. Anthony the owner of APlus Marble was one of the first people we contacted and he was out to quote within a few days, complete with samples on hand for us to try and visualize the space. His pricing was fair, competitive if not slightly above a few other quotes we received. What I appreciated was Anthony's promptness on follow up questions and scheduling. We ultimately committed to using APlus Marble for our remodel and are very happy with the outcome (see the before and after pic!). The demolition and install crews were very clean and made sure to mask off the space so that we didn't get dust or debris over our living room area. There were a few measurement gaffes with the original quote, but Roman the project manager was thoughtful in bringing them to my attention and working through the measurement changes so that I was happy with what they were templating. Due to the pandemic and other scheduling issues, we took a big leap of faith and let Anthony select the Quartz slabs from MSI in Hayward. He did a great job picking 2 slabs with great uniform veining and that fit our kitchen configuration perfectly. He also made great recommendations on going with a thicker mitered edge that would enhance the modern vibes we were going for. On install day, the crew was again timely and made quick work of the install. I did have to remind them about installing some hidden metal supports for our island since we were deleting the corbels. Again, a small gaffe but they were quick to adapt, source the missing parts and keep the project on schedule. In the end we are extremely happy with our finished kitchen by APlus Marble and wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Anthony and his team for your next counter top needs! Thanks again!!

We dealt with Steve who was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. Their installer Richard Morris did a fantastic job by first leveling the cement slab perfectly before laying the floor. We appreciated his craftsmanship and work ethic. He's a very hard worker and a perfectionist. We're very happy with our finished product.

James Sharrock sent the installers back out to put caulking in the gaps - pictures attached. It looked even worse. I talked to another contractor, and he said that it is common to put the caulking, but they sand it afterwards and clean it up. Floor Traders is not willing to fix it and make it right. I emailed the owner, Warren Sharrock, with no response. I've left phone messages and they are ghosting me. I will not recommend them to anyone. Well, they emailed me and said that I need to hire a finishing contractor to solve my issue. August 11, 2026 Well, they emailed me and said that I need to hire a finishing contractor to replace or modify existing door casings/jambs to solve my issue. They said that they put the caulking at my request (which is true). However, they shouldn't have put the caulking, if they knew that it would look like my pictures. They are supposed to be the professionals - not me. August 17, 2026 I had another contractor come over today to check out the caulking job and he agreed that it was a botched job and they should have fixed it. Also, he said that you can see the nails in the new baseboards that were painted and installed. I am now thinking that I was treated this way because I am a senior living in a senior community.
