When you spend BIG $$$$ for a custom door, you expewct that the ccompany you purchase that door from would stand behind their product. Custom Door Shop......hides behind a supposed warranty! "Yes the door is defective, we'll replace the one door, but not the glass, and you will have to get it stained to match the other" Is that a warranty? I think not. read more

I have an $8000 front door that was installed in August 2018.  It is not locking properly - the dead bolt will not engage when the door is shut.  I have called the Delray location 3 times for service and am still waiting for a call back.  Also, since we are not the owner that had the door installed (we moved into this house in July 2020), I have been told that there will be a $100 service fee for them to come to look at the door.  In my opinion they have poor customer service.  There are many door and window companies in this area, if I was in the market for either, I'd go elsewhere! Update: the service man came to fix the lock (after three weeks of calls) and the fix took 3 minutes!! The service fee = $100. Update #2: I was aware of the $100 fee and agreed to it, but a 3 minute fix, regardless of where the service technician came from, is too much! I was put on a schedule so I'm sure he was in my area. I already had a bad impression of your company after calling three times without a call back, that alone is poor service. read more

Insanely great, family run business. The 2 1/4" thick Bolivian Mahogany French Doors are stunning, solid, and safe. The installation was world-class...2 craftsman working 8-9 hours. Follow-up tweaks to the installation were done in a professional, timely manner. Couldn't be happier. Doors of this quality aren't "cheap", but they are a worthwhile investment for homes with ugly, flimsy, in-swing doors. Andrew was BEYOND patient with us as it took us nearly 1.5 years to pull the trigger (because it was a large investment...but don't wait like we did....we really wished we had done it sooner). Worst customer service ever. My husband and I had an appointment to choose an entrance door with 2 side lights for our home . After going through 2 large company's to find the correct door but really bad customer service, we thought the Custom Door Shop would give us the personal customer service touch we needed. However Andrew the owner was worse than the others after we mentioned our honest amount of $4,000 plus we planned on spending . He was quite blunt by not wanting to take the time to show us anything but the front door to leave. I even tried to shake his hand to say goodbye but he wouldn't even look at us to say thanks for stopping in. Perhaps we would have spent more if he didn't prejudge us.. My husband and I have been in sales for over 40 years, Must be nice for Andrew to let $4,000 plus walk out the door.
