The meeting went well and the person that showed up at my house was nice and polite. The problem was that I felt as if I had to chase the person in order to get my bid. They stated that they had to go out of town and I would get the bid when they returned. So I received the bid 7 days after my appointment and 5 days after all the other bids. The price of the concrete was a fair price but I decided to go with another company because of the time frame I needed. Perhaps next project I can use this company.

When he arrived at the job site (a day late) the following week he wanted more money. He was unhappy with some vines, shrubs and mulch. Nothing changed between the day they gave us the bid and the day they arrived to start work. We politely reminded him that we had agreed to a price already. He then said it was "hard." We said, " I know, that's why we hired professionals." We basically said you can do the job for the price you bid us or you can leave. They left. My vines are all over the ground. We recently had our bathroom remodeled, and overall the experience was mixed. They also stood behind their work and made sure to come back and fix issues that came up, which we appreciated. However, it did feel like not all of the workers were fully qualified for the specific tasks they were assigned. There were a few mistakes along the way that required patching or rework, which slowed things down and caused some frustration. While everything was ultimately addressed, it would have been better if those issues were avoided from the start. In the end, the finished bathroom looks really nice, and we're happy with the final result.
