You can pick up your knives day of on Saturday, with a couple hours of lag time, It's a bit pricey, but the knives came back in great condition and very sharp. Coming from someone that is allergic to egg whites I don't really own a Whisk for that purpose. I'm familiar with the product from my Mother and Daughter. They're the cooks. I found this store interesting since it's named after a single kitchen utensil. You can order from the company online. I purchase items for my daughter as gifts. After all she bakes for me. I see this as a local business. During the pandemic I find it best to support them by shopping on line. Our Home goods stores in my neighborhood have closed. I'm happy for those of you that live near Whisk. I learned a lot about this cooking utensil from this business. They have a wide selection of other quality products not just whisks. For your information: A Whisk is a cooking utensil used to blend ingredients smooth and to incorporate air into a mixture. The process is known as whisking or whipping. Most Whisks consist of a long, narrow handle with a series of wire loops joined at the end. The wires are usually metal, but some are plastic for use with nonstick cookware. Whisks are also made from bamboo. Those Swedes could make some bamboo whisks! Whisks are commonly used to whip egg whites into a firm foam to make meringue, and to whip cream into whipped cream. Whisks have different shaped loops depending on their intended functions. Since the 19th Century, various mechanical devices have been designed to make whisking more efficient, under the names egg beater and rotary mixer. Until I started looking for a gift I had no idea there are so many varieties of whisks. I have used an egg beater for mashed potatoes! Any serious chef has a wide variety of Whisks in their kitchen. I'm not one anymore. I shop for gifts. This is a one of a kind store. They carry a large selection of merchandise. They sharpen knives too!

The owner and his wife are super friendly and helpful. Never try to upsell you into something you don't need. If they don't have it, they'll get it for you. Came to get my knives sharpened, and asked when I could pick them up, and he literally gave me a time later that day! Such a great addition having them in the neighborhood. Highly recommend coming here for any kitchen needs you might have!

I came here during the holiday season looking for someone to repair a Chinese Cleaver (similar to a…read moreChefs Knife) that was damaged by my father when he was cutting a pork bone. For those who know, a Chinese cleaver is not a bone cleaver, it is used like a Chefs knife and cannot break through bone. The cleaver was heavily damaged and I was looking for a place to help me repair and sharpen the blade. Indulge Kitchen Supplies was one of the only places that responded and I am glad they did. The store itself is on a main street with a fair amount of street parking and the store is super cute. The store sells a variety of kitchen gear from different knives, cutlery, utensils, etc. Most of the curated items are modern and high quality such as Durelex glass and Global Knives. While their prices are a little higher than online prices, they have quality stuff and I recommend buying from them. Their knife sharpening and repair was a life saver for me. The Chinese Cleaver is a large knife and they were able to get it done for me in less than a day and it was fully repaired. Looking at the photos you can see that they took out all the dings on the knife and sharpened it back to the point where I could use it again. I highly recommend this service and would readily come back when I need any knife repair or sharpening.

Although when you enter it might look a bit cluttered up and over crowded, don't get just turned off and walk out, they actually have a very decent verity of all types of home hardware, say like pots & pans, cutlery, organizing containers, towel hooks and even alarm clocks.... (People still buy them?! It's like buying a flash light when you have one on your phone...) Customer service is also very friendly and nice and always more then willing to help you find whatever you're looking for and give you the perfect recommendation of the product which will meet your needs. Price is also okay although not the cheapest, but hey, when you have a big nice place with great customer service you can't expect them to charge you a bodega price for a pot. Speaking of Pot's I was once on the road out in the wild and needed urgently a pot for some cooking, so I stopped into a small bodega (don't ask me what I was thinking and I ask the cashier if he by any chance has a pot so he says "umm Pot"? sure, go right to the back of the store, It took me a minute to realize that he was talking about "POT" and I quickly made a U turn and ran outta there laughing my head off....... One more thing that they offer is a Mikvah* on the spot that you need for some dishes when you buy them. In overall this please is great and therefore my go to place whenever I need nay home supplies. ---------------------------------------------------- *Mikvah, for those of you that are not familiar with it, it is a religious ritual that you need to submerge any dish that you intend of using multiple times into a tub of water that contains a certain amount of pure rain water, and after submerging it into the Mikvah you're able to use the dish for as many times as you wish. (Disposable stuff don't require a Mikvah)
