My sugar pedi gel was 80, my gel mani was 48!! My brow and lip wax was 32 total, 20 for brow and 12 for lip. Is that normal pricing? Any way, definitely would go back. Call first to make appointment. The pedicure station was busy the whole time and people were waiting for service. I normally go to another salon and notice the prices for a full set and full are a few dollars cheaper here, which is nice. My fill/ trim and shape was $55 + tip I'm giving a 4 out of 5 bc the shop just felt dirty to me. I didn't like the smell. Poor ventilation. I felt hot and crammed bc it is a small space. But all the staff I encountered were very friendly. *Make sure you bring cash for your tip. I did not have cash and had to add it to my bill amount. This means I was taxed on top of my tip. If you could write in the tip later that would be great, like at a restaurant. That is not the case here.

I walked in, said hello, and waited about 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging me or even letting me know there would be a wait. During that time, there were two nail techs working on one customer and another tech doing a pedicure. A regular customer walked in and was immediately greeted and told to hold on. Then another customer came in with what looked like a chipped nail. An employee came out from the back, greeted that customer, discussed what she needed, and took her straight back to fix her nail--all while I was still sitting there without a single acknowledgment. I understand appointments, regular clients, and quick fixes may take priority at times, but it takes only a few seconds to acknowledge someone waiting and let them know what's going on. Feeling completely ignored is what made me decide to leave. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I came in 20 minutes early prior to my 10 am appointment and waited until 10:10 to be finally seated at Ada's chair. She was very professional and asked what I had wanted on my hair. I told her since I have curly hair, I wanted it flat ironed and then cut. She used a technique where she used men's razor to chop the part off, then use scissors to precisely cut my ends. Interesting! My hair came out beautiful and thinking of getting my hair colored with Ada. I noticed white strands already growing out. I definitely loved the professionalism here. I paid $31 and gave her $40 including tip. She did such an amazing job with my hair. I think this is my new go to for a hair cut and possible color. I definitely need to color up my white hairs. They also have a nail salon that does manicures and pedicures. Haven't tried that yet. I already have a lady I go to for a pedicure which is closer to home. Plenty of parking directly up front of the business. Highly recommend!

Ever since moving to Honolulu, I had struggled to find a reliable nail salon. The mutated nail is managed by monthly pedicure appointments, meaning highly experienced nail techs. The Beauty Bar was the 3rd nail salon I tried out and I haven't had to go anywhere else. I've been coming for the last 3 months and continue to be very happy with the service and results. Not only is my pincer nail always treated and trimmed carefully and expertly, the pedicures are well done and last for over 4 weeks (just using regular polish, not gel). I haven't tried the Japanese gel manicure yet, but I'm waiting for a special occasion to make the splurge. There's only a couple of downsides: 1) the prices are very high and 2) the massages are too soft. For example, I've paid $4 or $5 for callous removal at other salons, but they charge $10 here. Otherwise, I have no other complaints. I love the ease of the online booking system. The salon is clean and has a very chill vibe.
