But second time in a row now, walking in, and got my mani pedi done at the same time. He did my feet/pedi, and Tori did my mani. I feel so sorry for him doing my feet. Thank you so much for trying your best to help my callus on my feet. Tori did my French gel mani so clean and pretty. Loved it. Tori is so nice, and teaches him/or helps him when he work. My feet is so smooth now. So thankful. Thank you. Oh, she also waxed my eyebrows and lip! I needed this pamper and self care. Eyebrows and lips was so bushy already and mani pedi was so long over due and much needed. I think business not too good because of the rail construction going on, on Dillingham. So help support if u can! I did get hit with a bill, right under 200 total for sugar pedi gel, french mani gel and lip and brow wax. 189 total, is that a reasonable good price? My sugar pedi gel was 80, my gel mani was 48!! My brow and lip wax was 32 total, 20 for brow and 12 for lip. Is that normal pricing? Any way, definitely would go back. Call first to make appointment. I used to come to this salon. I like to work of a certain person, but it's hard to continually the person that you want. They have no problems speaking in their entire life in front of you . Maybe now that Apple has the translator. It would've been interesting to see what they were saying. It's kind of a common courtesy not to do that if not, everybody in thelocation understand. Me and my bestie needed an emergency pedi on a Sunday morning and they were the only place that was able to take us in As soon as we sat down, we were offered drinks, which has never happened to us before. The atmosphere was very calm and staff were welcoming. Jacqueline was awesome and took great care of me. I've been to this nail salon and the first few services which were 3-4 years ago were positive. However, the last few services I stopped going because of poor quality. I decided to give them a try again because this was the closest in town where I was that time. This picture is my right hand and the new full set of gel-x has been 2 weeks. I had my old gel-x removed which was $15, overall total was $145 with a cat eye design including an eye brow wax. I am right handed and use my thumb and pointer nail a lot to peel things. At the 2nd week marked, all 3 gel-x nails came off. This never happened to me before at other nail salons even tho I do a lot of peeling or activities on my nail. All nails on my left hand are still glued because I hardly use that side. I think the quality of their gel-x is poor. I'll just take the extra mile to drive the same nail salon I go to next time. Lastly, when the nail technician was filing my nail, it was a hard pressure that it cut a small open skin on my right pointer and started to bleed. I mentioned it to her and aid me. My original go to place closed down end of 2023. It was sad but the new place my bail lady loved too was just too far. So I found this place and it's convenient close to home.... I made an appt but they didn't seem busy. Which I enjoy to be honest.... It's very relaxing to have a quiet place to enjoy your pedicure. As I was leaving they had more people coming in! I was just too early for their day. LOL. The lady who helped me was very nice. She waxed my brows and did my pedicure. Was very kind and not pushy on adding on items. Customer Service: They were accommodating and nice for the most part.. Pedicure with gel no complaints. I originally went for full set acrylic and pedi. Went in, pedi is good. However, they offered another service (Gel extension), I thought to give it a try, knowing that they were just trying to upsell me. It would be nice for full communication though, letting me know each price point. Because when it came down to pay, I had to pay additional $7 for "reshape nail". I think it's a bit much, considering the nail tips comes already formed when being attached to the nail. I also didn't see a "reshape nail" price on the menu. It's a bit overpriced and I wish to see full transparency regarding prices. I feel like the acrylic may last longer than the gel extensions, we'll see how it goes. read more

There are a lot of nail salons run by Vietnamese on Oahu and most of them in general are just okay. I been coming to Tori Salon for a while now and find this salon to be one of the few Vietnamese nail salon to be more professional. First of all, they make you wash your clean prior to working on your nails. Although it's a pretty standard procedure, but you would be surprised most nail places don't even make you do it. Tori also used nail tools that are sterilized. Cleanliness is important and a lot of nail places do not meet cleanliness. No matter which nail artist does my nail I always feel a sense of professionalism in them. They really take the time to do your nail and ensure it's up to satisfaction. If you are looking for a decent nail salon, Tori is really good. read more

I wanted to treat myself for my birthday and decided try out the GelX extensions. Omg such a game changer! I usually just get gel polish in my natural nails but wanted them a bit longer. The GelX extensions are so much faster, healthier and no smell unlike acrylic! And they feel so light and flexible like they're my own. I MUST try it haha I walked in, no appointment and they took me right away because I was the first one haha so good! they take your temp before seating you and have you fill out a waiver about covid before you start which I understand. I got the deluxe set which was hot stones, callus removal, a paste they used to massage my legs with and of course a color for my toes. The service was excellent because my lady was always asking me if I was okay and comfortable :) she was so sweet! Next time i go I am definitely trying the sugar set (i think thats what it is! lol) The seats had built in massagers and everything was just so comfortable. Looking to kill some time and decided to get my nails done here after a quick Yelp search. Plenty of parking and they took me as soon as I walked in - Classic mani and pedi w/ regular polish ($52). Appreciated that they both took their time and at no point did I feel rushed. They both also checked in often to make sure i liked the length/ shape of my nails, as well as the colors chosen. Both the hand and leg massages were nice. If I hadn't just come from the spa, would've considered the Deluxe pedi instead. Plenty of colors to choose from and I like how my nails turned out. Review is for management regarding gift certificates. Management told me the $60 gift certificate I had (issued in February 2023) has a fine print stating it's only valid for 3 months. The manager said they usually honor gift certificates past the 3 month period @ 50% value but said she would honor it at $40 instead of $30. The person who was assigned to do my nails was nice and seemed to try to ask the manager if I could use the full $60 value, but was unsuccessful. The manager was not friendly and stuck to it being invalid after 3 months. It's been less than 6 months since it was issued, not years later. The person who did my nails was good and thorough, but am disappointed in the 3 month fine print on the gift certificate that doesn't clearly state an expiration date. After I was done and paying the difference, the manager tried to make small talk asking if I liked it and that she was trying to help me out. You can't try to be nice after you've made your money lady. Also, in the same fine print on the gift certificate, it states the store hours which I confirmed with the shop are incorrect (they changed their hours during covid). Being that some of the info stated on the certificate is invalid, I thought they may have considered an extension on the 3 month period due to covid also. They pick and choose what info to honor, which they have the right to do as a business. Won't be returning. read more

One thing about me, if the parking sucks, I will leave immediately. I was pleasantly surprised how ample the parking situation was. Upon entering, I was greeted and sat down immediately. I had mentioned that I was in the area killing time and she definitely killed time for me. I was in there about an hour and a half. Tori was very thorough and did not rush at all. She really took her time and I could see she paid attention to detail. They even offered complimentary drinks a couple of times.
