And I am so glad that I had the time from walking in, I was immediately greeted with a smile from multiple people inside the salon. I requested a pedicure with acrylic overlay on my two big toes. When I got to the pedicure chair immediately noticed a complete difference in their massage chairs, they are wider and more comfortable than previous places I have gone to. I was offered a complementary drink. They have soda and water, complementary and wine if your service is over $60. It was a little too early for me for wine so I just opted on water, but I do appreciate them offering something. There is a full bar set up which was really nice so if they were to ever do you know a little mocktails or cocktail that would be even better but you know the overall aesthetic of it was really really nice very classy not overwhelming at all not giving like a club vibe. I was handed the pedicure menu and I decided on their spring offering which was a mint CBD pedicure and it was exactly what I needed. My muscles have been so so sore from working out and this pedicure was exactly what I needed. I'm leaving feeling so much better than when I came in. And the massage that she gave OMG I almost fell asleep. The pedicure starting out is $65 and it is for 55 minutes but it felt a little longer but that's just because it was so good. Of course I had extra add-ons the gel polish and acrylic two toes so my service came out to $98 and I will say it was $98 well spent the atmosphere was quiet very little noise. It was early. I came in at 11 AM but overall even with people moving around, it was still very minimal noise and a relaxing experience. I think her name tag said Nina if I can remember correctly but she let me know they've been open for 8 months. I definitely plan on coming back because 10 out of 10 I will recommend. I also plan to get my nails done in the future. My nails were already done. I happen to connect with Lee who is the one I have chosen for my pedicures. She is strong and her massages are thorough. I tell her when she is done, that my feet look "brand new!" It makes her laugh and she takes her time when her work is recognized. We communicate with an understanding although her English is not the first language. I was one in the past to always pass on taking and moment to having my feet massages, nails clipped and feet scrubbed. But as my wife has said in the shop, "he puts holes in the sheets with those sharp toenails!!" LMAO - let's be honest, we all have been there but in this case, we as men have to step up to the plate and spend time grooming our bodies to lower the cost on sheet replacement (hah). Lee, my go to person takes her time and gives me the attention that is necessary to get the job done. If it goes after then what I anticipate, then I will let her know. it's that simple. I've even recommended them to friends and family and brought new customers to the salon. Unfortunately, my last two visits have completely changed my opinion. During my last pedicure, I noticed a green discoloration on my big toenail that I have never experienced before. I immediately brought it to the technician's attention and explained that it was not there during my previous visit and that nothing else in my routine had changed. He did not really address my concern. What concerned me even more was seeing the file and other tools used on my feet being placed back into his kit rather than being discarded/replaced. I am now having to see a doctor to determine whether I have a fungal or bacterial infection and will have to pay for treatment, which is extremely upsetting. On top of that, two of my acrylic nails broke within 48 hours of my appointment, so I returned today to have them fixed. I politely asked to speak with the manager and explained everything that had happened, including my concerns about my toenail. I was honestly shocked that there was no apology, acknowledgment, or even basic concern shown by management. I was then sent back to the same technician, David, to fix my nails. When I told him the color I had previously received was DU127 and asked to confirm it in the color book, he became visibly frustrated and gave me an attitude when he couldn't find it. I told him I wasn't comfortable choosing a random color unless all of my nails were going to be repainted. I ended up finding the exact color myself in the second book I looked through--the same DU127 color I had already told him. After that, his attitude changed, but he then handled my hands very roughly while fixing the nail. I have worked in customer service for 10 years, and I understand that mistakes happen. What matters is how you treat a loyal customer when something goes wrong. I have never felt so disrespected and uncomfortable during a salon service. The lack of accountability from management, the way my concerns about sanitation were handled, and the technician's unprofessional behavior were extremely disappointing. After being a loyal customer for over a year and someone who has actively recommended this salon to others, I will not be returning and will be advising my friends and family to take their business elsewhere. Customers deserve to feel heard, respected, and safe when they spend their money at a business.
