Saturday I got my nails done and today is only Tuesday!

i have tried to give them a chance multiple times but this is the last straw! between racist nail tech (eudelmis e)- to now chip nails! So this is my farewell- sunflower by city line is ugly inside but the staff is amazing and my nails last longer!! Avoid this place and that lady - Eudelmis -E you can't miss her she has a lopsided bottom from a back alley procedure!!

i had chose a complicated design but tiffany nailed it!

they were so nice, i had tiffany and she was so sweet, she did and outstanding job. i got a full set of acrylic tips and they turned put beautiful. the loft was very clean and very comfortable. highly recommend going

My fiancee just got home from an appointment two days before our wedding and she is devastated. Not only did she receive treatment and a cooor she did not like, but got up-charged for a chrome finish without being told. Now she is home and her cuticle started to randomly bleed...

Tiffany is amazing!! So detail oriented and kind! She did my acrylic fill and manicure. I showed her a picture of the design I wanted and she was able to replicate it and also fix the disaster that another nail tech did with my nail shape. I left with beautiful, dainty nails, that looked exactly how I imagined they would! 100% would recommend her. The salon is nice, very clean and stylish. Parking wasn't too bad. They have a parking lot in the back and I also saw plenty of parking on the street.

The first time I came here. Missed a whole corner of my thumb and filed the nail down to the bed.

I really gave this nail place two chances. The first time, I got a new full set of UV gel nails. They missed a whole corner of my thumb and filed the nail down to the bed. They were supposed to give me 20% off my next service but never did. The second time I came was for a "fill"--see photo with sage green polish. No cuticle care was done, and it seems like no actual "fill" was done as the nails look like they've had a week's growth even though the photo was taken a few minutes after. The 20% off coupon was never added to my account, and the receptionist just told me to email using the website. That was almost 2 weeks ago and I never got a reply. I'm rating 2 stars because of the bomb.com pedicure by Juana though.

    The design I wanted

I have been extremely disappointed in this service. I went in to get a spa pedicure and gel manicure with design. My appointment was at 6pm so I got in a few mins earlier however I was kept waiting for over 30 mins. Then the lady who was attending to started on my foot. I mentioned to her a few times that she was hurting my while clipping my feet nails. She apologized, but continued to hurt me. We then move on to my hands. Sidenote (I reached out to her on Instagram and asked her if she could do the design, after which I booked her, she said yes) it took her over two hours to do my hands, which did not come out anything close to the picture I showed her. Once I got home, the next day I noticed my big toe was oozing pus and it was completely swollen. I am not sure what exactly she did but it got infected. I had to got to the urgent care by my house, had to get the pus injected out, take a tetanus shot, and felt extreme pain! I have visit cuticles few times, but I went to the first location in JC avoid the loft

    Almond Dip Powder

I got dip powder done from them and it was terrible. The lady did not even use the white base for the dip powder which to me was odd since every place that I go to does that to ensure that the colored powder stays on for long. To make matters worse, after two weeks my nails are chipping. Dip powder done well should almost never chip even if you've had them on for 3/4 weeks. Also, she filed a lot of my nail bed which hurt me immensely causing me to have to put Neosporin on my fingers. :/ The only positive thing I will say is about the shop. The shop is very neat and nice. The nail tech herself was pleasant but did a poor job unfortunately.

I've always searched for a nail salon that is clean, provides quality customer service and honors their appointments, I can honestly say that the Cuteticles loft does all of the above. My nail tech Katherine is the best. Her gel manicures and pedicures are unmatched. She ensures that she is ready when you arrive despite being the most booked technician at the establishment. She is extremely creative and has selected colors and freestyled designs for me on multiple occasions. She takes her time and ensures that you get all that you're paying for. The cleaning service is also impeccable. In fact you will see that she doesn't sit down and is constantly cleaning up (her name escapes me at the moment). I highly recommend you see Katherine if you are considering going to Cuteticles nail loft.

Chipped dip mani after a week
    Kelsey H.

Overall, this spot is what you call 'Hit or Miss'. I've been ~3x and have had one good experience, one bad, and one in the middle. Here is the top line... Pros: there is an app for scheduling, plenty of technicians, they're taking Covid precautions. Cons: pricey, low inventory on dip colors, one of their facilities presents as clean, while the other does not. Not great attention to detail. So here's the timeline: The first visit in 2017 went great. The next visit was in 2018 and was neither good nor bad. And the most recent visit is where the problems started. First, my appointment moved because the technician recommend to me (Maria) was unavailable, NBD. Then though the replacement technician (Rosa) did an okay job on my gel pedi. Unfortunately, my dip mani was messy, thick and chipped after a week (see pic). When I returned to fix the 2 broken nails I was asked to bounce between two locations 3x (they're only few blocks apart so not the end of the world but still frustrating). There is a clear need for efficiency and direct communications between salons. After 45 mins, we were finally able to locate my color and a free technician (Melissa), she quickly fixed my nails and I could immediately tell a difference in her style. Look great. The issue? I was charged $13 + tip + double parking fee to fix TWO nails that shouldn't have chipped in the first place. At this rate, the full mani would cost $65 ($13 x 5) and it does not (it's $45). So, not sure where this math came from. With that said, I'm willing to try *once* more to see if this last visit was just a fluke and not typical business practice. More to come...

After being really disappointed by the Cuteicles directly across the street, I decided to give this location a go and I am so happy I did! Fanny absolutely knocked it out of the park. She took her time and gave me the neatest and prettiest gel mani I have had in a long time. I was seen right at my appointment time that I scheduled online and the place was cute and clean. Go to Fanny!

THEY ARE NOT STERILIZING THE TOOLS!!!!!!
    Schadenfreude F.

!!They're not sterilizing their tools!! I've been coming to this salon for years. They charge more than other salons because they guarantee that every client gets their own set of autoclave sterilized tools. Today the technician takes tools that she used on the previous client out of a jar of Barbercide. The jar had gross sediment swirling around the bottom. I asked where my packet of sterilized tools were. After some hemming and hawing the technician told me they ran out of the individual packs of tools. Why didn't they inform their customers of this? They certainly didn't lower their prices because they weren't using individually packed sterile tools. Also, there wasn't an owner in sight. I walked out. How dare you put me at risk during a pandemic? What a disgrace.

My thumb was what she kept saying was too short.

$45 dip powder- does not include a manicure service, cutting of cuticles, or hand massage. Just cuticle oil at the end. I never get tips or any sort of fake nails put on because I don't like having long nails. The lady that was doing my nails kept reminding me of how short my real nails were- mind you, this is not the first time I've gotten dip powder on them but it was the first time that someone had ever constantly reminded me during the entire service how short my nails were. (Side note- one thing that bothers me about dip powder is how inconsistent the system is. It seems like no matter where I go, every single nail technician has their own way of doing it. Sure, every brand probably has their own steps of doing it, but so does every tech....). My nail tech is doing a fine job with the dip powder, but during the second coat I noticed that my index finger was missing some powder on the side. I didn't say anything to the nail tech, but she noticed too. Rather than going back and adding some powder, you know what she did? (if you get your nails done, you know that asking them to go back and fix something only pisses them off. Am I wrong?) She literally just filed away that part of the nail so the part that was missing powder wasn't as visible. So, now the shape of my nail is angled differently. It's not even that big of a deal appearance-wise, but you know when they file your nail too close to the nail bed, and it feels weird for a few days? That's what it feels like. The person sitting next to me was there before I sat down and there when I was done. She was also getting dip powder on her real nails. I also hated the fact that she didn't clean the residual powder underneath my nails. $45 is pretty standard for dip powder, but I think I'll be trying a different place.

There were two employees working on a Friday around noon. Both were working on clients who were also getting their eyebrows threaded when I arrived, but it was only a short wait. When it was my turn, they didn't clean the chair before having me sit down so it didn't feel very sanitary. The threading service itself was satisfactory. My technician was very gentle and it felt more comfortable than other times I've had my eyebrows threaded. After she was done, she applied aloe without asking me if I wanted it on my face. They have their price list printed and posted on the wall. They also have an addendum sign that notes that the price for threading has increased from $7 to $10. I'm not sure why they didn't simply adjust the original price list instead of displaying two different prices, because it definitely caused confusion. The client in front of me originally paid $7 and an employee had to ask her for the additional amount. The client understandably pointed to the original price list on the wall and they had to explain that new prices were in effect. The other client ahead of me apologized to the woman who did her eyebrows because she didn't bring enough cash to cover tip and the new, higher price. So overall, I got what I needed done, but their customer experience could definitely use some improvements.
