Finally had the chance to visit this coffee shop after passing by numerous times, and I was excited to check it out. The building has a quaint and cozy ambiance that I appreciated, and the staff provided good service. My husband and I both ordered hot drinks--a caramel macchiato and a mocha. I also chose a pesto and ham breakfast sandwich. However, I was disappointed to find our drinks served lukewarm instead of hot, and the flavors were underwhelming--bland and milky, with barely any coffee or caramel essence. The sandwich didn't impress either. In the end, this coffee shop fell short of being a potential future hangout spot. While the cozy atmosphere was inviting, it simply couldn't compensate for the lackluster coffee and food. read more

Great coffee shop that's a hop skip and a jump from where I live, and a ton of shopping. Grab a cup of coffee or a tea latte and walk around the quaint shopping plaza. I've enjoyed the iced gingerbread latte, seasonal beverage. Their London Fog is also delicious. Friendly staff and quick service. There are plenty of seats, and I've seen folks with tablets/laptops so I assume WiFi is available. They also have coffee packages and merch you can purchase to go. read more

Only reviewing the Uptown location. The baristas were kind, but the coffee? Absolutely not. I had two coffees back to back just to give them a fair shot; both were sour enough to pucker drywall. Consistency is great when it's good; here, it felt like they under-pulled one shot, called it dialed, and hit cruise control. This is my favorite Cutter's Point location in Gig Harbor! This is mainly because of the convenient location and the ample seating provided (with lots of outlets to plug in a laptop for working). The staff are also very friendly and drinks come out quickly, even when they're busy. They've also recommended some great drinks for me. I particularly like their chais! The food is great too, nothing fancy, but I do really love their cinnamon rolls and almond croissants. read more

We tried some of the breakfast foods through...the DRIVE THRU! Yes we are parents and a drive thru gets us very excited! We tried the Breakfast Burrito, Apple Fritter, Maple Bar, Old Fashioned Glazed Donut, and White Chocolate Apricot Scone. I'll start with our favorite, the burrito. This lovely portioned burrito was fresh, light, and had potatoes that weren't cooked so much that they loose their texture. The tortilla had a baked crunch that wasn't greasy, but added a nice texture to each bite. You won't feel heavy after eating this for breakfast! The Cinnamon Roll was mmmmmm good! Just perfect. Gooey, not too sweet or grainy, just lovely! The donuts were also delicious. We are huge maple bar fans and the dough was thick and dense while still having a fluffy bite. The maple glaze wasn't too sweet to over power the goodie. Yum! The old fashioned donuts were great texture, but could have used a bit more flavoring as it was a bit plain. Still good though. I grew up in Apple Hill, California eating fritters every weekend in the fall and love fritters. This fritter was good, had a great glaze and the dough inside was cooked just past being raw so it was still gooey and delicious with fresh apple chunks. It tasted fresh and yummy. Our least favorite was the white chocolate apricot scone, maybe because we had so many other great options that overpowered it. The apricot chunks were delicious but it was a bit dry. Overall we loved the goodies we tried here. We loved how fresh it was. Good job Cutters Point! read more

Can't believe all the great reviews.....We went here solely based on all the 5 star reviews - boy were we misled..... Not a lot of seating if you want to use your laptop - had to use the giant table when you walk in (and you can't put your legs under the table.........) Next, there were a lot of flies (yuck......). Girl who helped us ok - not good, not bad. Our drinks were awful! Oldest got a Coconut frappe - that we took back because it tasted funky - got a vanilla frappe in its place which was fine, I got a coconut mocha which was way to sweet (and I got 1/2 the syrup) plus I didn't like the taste of their coffee (sad to say I only like a few coffee places other than Starbucks.............. read more

Usually this is my favorite coffee place but the last couple times I tried it the espresso was really weird I can't even describe what it taste like but I like to drink Americanos and I just stopped in before I start work today to get a coffee because I'm tired and my Americano just tastes tart and like the espresso was either burnt or right I don't know it's just very disappointing to get coffee to make it through the day and have a taste really gross it actually has little pieces of ground expresso in it sad day read more

I approached the nice barista and let her know, and she confirmed many customers have brought this to their attention before and they got new equipment but the problem is not fixed. She said it only happens for "some people" but unfortunately I won't be returning to this location ever as I cannot risk losing that time again and it's hard to go to another coffee shop with working internet when you already have a CP cup in your hand... read more

My visit to this Cutters Point Uptown was really just A-Ok. It's a decent coffee shop with decent coffee. I ordered a 16 oz. Caramel Macchiato, which was alright until I realized that all of the syrup they used settled to the bottom. The bottom of my cup was just pure syrup :(. The seating area is big but doesn't have a lot of outlets or tables for those who may want to study here. The couch area with the faux chimney was relaxing and is a nice place to curl up with a book. Didn't get a chance to venture through Seattle and search for the greatest coffee, but ended up grabbing 3 pounds of beans from this place to bring back to LA. sumbitch dat's some good coffee. Beautiful beans that don't resemble chipmunk turds like some places I know (sorry homie, your beans are ghetto) I'm running out now, and quite sad about it. My cousin lived in Gig Harbor and one of my favorite parts about visiting her was Cutters Point Coffee every morning. The coffee is made to perfection. No weird burnt tastes like you sometimes get at commercial coffee places like Starbucks. My mom frequents the area for work trips and she always stops by Cutters Point for a bomb breakfast burrito. It's awesome that they have delicious coffee AND delicious food! Ranging from paninis to donuts. Its all good. I would recommend it over any coffee place. read more

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'm a big fan of Cutter's Point Uptown. Winter time I get a peppermint hot chocolate, summer time I get the Cookies and Creme smoothie! They've got great seating both indoors and out, a great little "lounge" with comfy chairs and fireplace. I think what I like best about them is their involvement with the community. Such a great place - drinks are tasty and, iced or hot, always spot on. Feels like home and I can't tell if that is because I moved to a tiny little town for the first time in my life or these folks just know how to treat a gal, but it's a treat nonetheless! Love being greeted with a smile and a quick chat, while not holding up a line and pissing off those in a rush. The store itself is always clean and a nice little spot to relax, catch up with a friend or get a little work done. You will even have the opportunity to impulse buy if this is something that tickles your fancy, new, quality items on hand each and every visit. I stopped in on a Monday morning waiting for the KCU to open. The baristas were super friendly and knew their locals, which is really nice to see (I'm not a local there, but they greeted some people in front of me by name and knew their drinks). I did a simple latte with almond milk and they didn't scorch the milk, which is nice. There is a small area to sit, either by a fireplace in big chairs, or a few tables. The tables were all full, so I sat in one of the big chairs and read for a while. I enjoyed my beverage and the atmosphere. read more

The customer service was non-existent and the drinks were not up to par, my wife has very specific coffee drink requirements and she was treated like we were bothering them. We will never return! I can go to the CP hut in Port Orchard and are treated as friends and they go out of their way to make sure you have what you expect. read more

Don't get me wrong. I like Cutters Point and prefer it over the competitor. I've been to this location many of times and the service was good. Maybe I just happened to walk in at the wrong time. Barista just looks at me as I walk in- doesnt say anything to me. She has this irritated face like I've offended her or something. I order and again this irritated face. I try to pay and she states that she already closed her register. I asked if she was closed and the barista states, "its okay. I'll make your drink." Mind you, its 7:10 and according to the hours of operation stated on the door it shows that it closes at 8:00. She puts my drink on the bar- i say thank you and of course, no response. I'll just go to the CP in Main & Vine. The girls there are much nicer. But hey, i got a free coffee out of this experience. read more
