Unfortunately can't recommend this company. They performed electrical services as part of a large…read moreremodel project. The first issue has to do with their quote, which according to the project's Project Manager was very vague. We asked several times for clarification and although they said they would get back to us, they never did. I did the walk through with them and walked went over everything in depth. As the project progressed and we had change orders, suspiciously everything that was cut out was somehow not in the estimate but anything new was added expense. The second issue is that they did not do the work according to code. For example, I have an island that was suppose to have an outlet at the end according to code. They put the cord too far out and with not enough length so that the cabinet guys could not extend the cord to the end. I would have had to pay the contractor more money to come back out so we left it at the wall since the electricians would have delayed it another 2-3 days. They also put the outlet plates up before the living room was painted even though they knew there was going to be paint (they didn't put the sconces up in the same room because they knew it was to be painted) and then they complained when they had to put them up again. They continuously got lighting placement, dimmers and other specs wrong. The breaking point related to buffet lights in living room cabinet. The original order was to use recessed lighting (which they provided). They recommended we switch to rope lights but refused to provide. I provided them but they never worked once they were installed. We showed their worker (two witnesses besides myself) and he said that they would get new lights, and reinstall the next morning at 7AM. They never came back. The lights were installed incorrectly and ruined part of the paint on the cabinet, so it will cost me another $1400 to fix that. When I tried to work with them, they talked over me, were rude and refused to take responsibility. I had 8 different contractors/subcontractors work on this job, all of them worked out great except for this one. I don't think they ever took the job seriously. It would take them 2 or 3 days to respond or show up and they refused to work more than a couple hours at a time because they had other jobs. They greatly slowed the job down. We were always waiting on the electricians. I'd pass on them for a remodel job. I wish I had.

On the evening of July 7, 2020, the air conditioning stopped working on one half of our home (bedrooms). I contacted Erik who showed up at 10PM to inspect the unit that same day. The failure was due to the blower motor seizing up and put a strain on the 15 year old A/C unit which caused it to burn out. Within two weeks in the middle of summer time, Erik was able to find a brand new A/C unit and had it replaced. Erik had to come to the rescue September 1, 2021 when the blower motor seized up on the other 16 year old A/C unit. Thankfully we caught that issue early, it did not burn out the second A/C unit and to this day (March 14, 2025), the 20 year old A/C unit is still working. Erik takes care of all my Heating & Air maintenances. He's a true professional, hard worker, and is truly dependable. His pricing is fair, but his services and quality of workmanship are excellent that pricing has never been a question. I highly recommend Erik (CordAir Inc.) for any Heating & Air service needs. I also found out that he does plumbing work as well. P.S. Don't forget to get your units serviced for the upcoming 2025 summer season.
