Cuzzins is exactly what an on-mountain aprés ski bar SHOULD be - Great selection of local VT beers for under $6 a pint, divey, well-decorated ambience, and awesome live music to rock away those sore knees! The only thing keeping Cuzzins from a five star rating in my book is the somewhat limited space. Located in the Mt. Snow main base lodge (or for you ski bums, skier's right as you're zipping down "Canyon"), Cuzzin's has plenty of tables and a nice back bar with bay windows facing towards the mountain. As other reviewers note, however, this place does get packed as the ski day winds down, and with only one entrance where they're checking IDs, we noticed a line starting to form around 4:30pm. Overall, though, it's worth waiting a few minutes to get in here and wind down with your fellow skiers and boarders. Cuzzins has a really nice lived in feel to it that doesn't give off any sense that you're in an "official mountain ski lodge." If you're not in favor of a packed out standing room-only scene, head upstairs to the nearby Station Tap Room for a more relaxing vibe. read more

Cuzzins Bar & Grill is pretty chill. It's the place to go after shredding Mount Snow. They offer a good quality of food and a wide range of drinks at the bar to choose from. If you're around at the right times, you can also catch some catchy live music here. The staff are very kind, friendly and accommodating, but can get backed up and delay orders at times. Overall, this spot is great fun for all your friends and family to enjoy! read more

Cuzzins is one of the sit down restaurant/bars at Mount Snow. It is located at the main base offering salads, sandwiches, appetizers, burgers and BBQ options made onsite. The bar area is busy with skiers enjoying warm drinks as well as local brews. The restaurant decor is a bit run down, throwback to the 1980's and could use some updating. The food is reliable and although not as good as their neighbor, 1900 Burger, it's not awful. Our server, Steph, was pleasant and attentive. They open at 11am so get there early to get a table because it gets busy quickly. read more

The buffalo chicken wrap and chili bread bowls are da bomb. It's right at the base of the mountain so convenient to get to even if you aren't skiing/snowboarding. The nachos were tough to pull from the paper in the basket, but otherwise everything was good. read more

Cuzzins is a good spot for groups of adults to eat after skiing at Mount Snow. The food is decent, the decor basic but good for a nice, dive-y vibe. The service is friendly and helpful -- from the host station to the waitstaff to the bartenders. The beer selection is very good -- lots of good local options as well as some classics, and at prices that are very reasonable for a ski resort. And the adult-to-kid ratio is good for people looking to escape the youngsters for awhile (not that youngsters aren't welcome -- they just don't predominate as much as other places at the Main Base Lodge). Also, you may get lucky with some good musical acts. We saw a talented, funny one-man show featuring a guitar playing, cover-singing dude (it was better than it sounds -- lots of fun), and the spirit of the apres-ski crowd was great. Essentially a standard ski resort base lodge bar. Offers the full alcohol options, and has a fairly good menu for variety in appetizers, sandwich type meals, and maybe a few entrees. Crowds tend to roll through for an hour or so from about 11 to a little before the mountain closes, so tables are steadily cycling, but once the lifts shut down all the downhill drinkers lock up the real estate, so keep that in mind when you are planning to score your post-run suds. Across the board at Cuz's the prices are pretty much the same ($7-$9 for apps, $9-$11 for sandwiches, $5 for pints, and maybe a little more for bottled beer), and on par with the pricing in the food court area, only the food is a little more fancy (like a Mahi Mahi steak on a roll) and tasty, plus they come with excellent fries. I got a pulled pork sammy here on Thursday and was surprisingly pleased. Though the roll was just a burger bun, the meat was juicy and the sauce, while being a little sweet and thin, was quite pleasing with it's high spiciness; the perfect heat level to help me recover from skiing in 6 degree weather and 26" of fresh powder all day. Older brother got the duck sandwich, but it also came with the BBQ sauce which he said simply overpowered the meat flavor. My uncle dined with us as well, having the chicken breast sandwich, and we all agreed that in sheer volume of food it was the most appealing order (and he said taste wise it was legit too). The bar has a large bay window looking out on the bottom of the Mountain, so there is plenty to watch outdoors if the bums and bunnies indoors aren't to your liking, and there are tons of tables to spread out in while you are doing it. If you are a skier, you know how friendly other Alpiners are, and it's no different here; a perfect spot to come unwind and be regaled with stranger's best war stories and trail advice while you do the same. read more

This place is meh. I wasn't really expecting much from a restaurant at a ski resort, but it is still a sit-down restaurant. The first weird thing was that instead of bringing us water, the waitress pointed us to a "hydration station" which was just a 5 gallon jug of water. That's not really a problem, it's just a bit weird that someone had to decide that instead of serving our customers water, we should make them walk over to this jug of water in the corner. Aside from the "hydration station" the food was mediocre. Definitely better than the cafeteria food on the other side of the building, but the fries were bland and the burger was overdone (I got a Vermont Cheddar burger). It wasn't a terrible experience, but the 1900' Burger next door is better when it's open, and you might do better packing your own lunch as well. read more

The perfect view earned this place a whole extra star. I looove sitting with a beer, watching the snowy weather and bundled skiers outside. The beer selection is really good, and they have a neat little "light to dark" beer chart on the wall with descriptions of each beer. The bartender was entertaining, if not a bit strange. But hey, it adds to the "ski life" ambience. Stop here for a hot chocolate/drink/food if you need a little break from the slopes. This is a great spot for an after ski/snowboard drink. It's a little deceiving because it's attached to the dining area for the mountain and can easily go unnoticed. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a drink and some snacks, and were definitely pleased! We ordered the eggplant fries, mozzarella sticks, and most importantly wings. The wings were definitely worth it! The placed was packed and very casual (you can wear whatever you were during the day while skiing/snowboarding).The staff were friendly, but they were of course busy. Even though the place was packed, we got our food very quickly. If you go here, definitely get the wings! My boyfriend and I try wings almost at every place we go, and this place was definitely at the top of list. read more

Happy hour with Bruce Jacques is the most fun you may ever have. Best Apres ski in the USA. I have not found a more fun place in Colorado , California , Utah or anywhere else in VT. Bruce makes it the best place around. His act is phenomenal. If you can't have fun here , you can't have fun anywhere. It does fill up fast , so get there by 3 pm the latest. Love this spot! I come to mount snow at least once a week from Brooklyn, and this spot has become a pit-stop after my day of riding is complete. I usually come to mount snow midweek, so this spot isn't crowded and I can grab a seat and order my post-riding meal of a burger and fries or chicken tenders and fries. I usually end my day around 3:30 or 3ish on frigid days. Service is pretty fast, even when it's busy. On weekends or holidays of riding, I'm able to go to the bar, order my meal to-go and an apres-riding boozie, chocolatey drink. Usually by the time I finish drinking my drank, I only wait 5 more minutes and my delicious to-go platter arrives! This spot compares to a good ole NYC bar/grill. The chicken tenders are crispy on the outside and moist and hot on the inside. Burgers are seasoned well nd cooked properly, when I ask for medium rare. I don't get well-done. Thanks for making my snowboarding experience great from start to finish, Mount Snow! Prices are also fair and equivalent to NYC pubs, nothing more...sometimes less depending on the dish read more

I'm a season pass holder, came into Cuzzins with my buddies. We had the old cranky waitress. It sucks going to a place where we're an inconvenience to the person serving us. Waitstaff is incredibly rude. Will never be back. There is no reason for them to treat paying customers like the way we were treated. Slammed waters on the table. Ordered ONE thing and our waitress couldn't even get that right. I get it. They're busy. But if you don't like your job and don't take it out on the customers and work somewhere else. Talked to the manager who said he would talk to our waitress and take something off the bill. Also rude waitress shoulder checked a few of us that were standing. I almost lost it. They didn't take anything off the bill. Rude waitress came back and argued about things ordered. As for the food. The chicken soup bread bowl was soggy and gross. Have been coming to Cuzzins now for about half my life and will continue to go there anytime I am at Mt Snow. The food is always on par, but the best thing about Cuzzins is the service. We have seen many servers over the years but are happiest when we have Kristen as our server. She is always happy, friendly and attentive and takes extra good care of the children (now young men). It's so nice to always have such a warm greeting especially on those extra cold days! read more

5 stars for entertainment! Stopped in to Cuzzins with my boyfriend after skiing; we had gone to the bar upstairs in the lodge first can't recall the name (but skip it) and then heard the music and shenanigans downstairs and decided to try it out. Great decision! There was a one man show on stage singing oldies-goodies-and-today's hits! Girls were on chairs dancing and everyone was rowdy! All ages welcome, except the kids. ID'd at the door and they're serious she was bending and folding my NY license for a good minute. Grabbed a table in the lower level and got some drinks and nachos. Nachos were delicious!! Three cheese and definitely get the chili and guac! Can easily feed 4 people, the two of us left a lot behind. And then danced around with the very friendly crowd! Will definitely go back every time we're at Mt Snow, I only hope it's exactly like this drunk and wild experience every other day at 5 pm!! read more

Cuzzins is the perfect place to grab a bite for lunch or for Apres Skiing after a long day on the slopes. We came here on a Saturday (probably their busiest day) and the host Charlie was great. I am very very upset about this place. My 17 year old son and his 3 friends went skiing at Mount Snow on Saturday Jan 27th. The boys said they had a great time. I'm not surprised! I saw pictures of two of them with beers in their hands! THEY ARE 17 AND 18!!! And no they don't have fake IDs. Shame on you, you need to train your staff better. I hope the police pay you a visit and stop this from happening! read more
