Here's the key to having a fantastic experience at 1900 Burger: Get on the slopes around 10 AM and ski/snowboard until 2 PM. You'll be good and tired, and will have bypassed the lunch rush. After 2, you pretty much have your pick of booths near the window (a good place to dry off your things). I don't usually partake, given my beginner status on the mountain, but my friends usually grab a beer or two (this seems to be the key to having a fantastic rapport with the wait staff). On to the menu - I've had the 1900 Burger, the Mac Burger, and The I've-Died-and-Gone-to Heaven burger. All good. And the sides are even better (especially the Mac N' Cheese, Corn Bread, and Fries). After you've had your fill, you suit up, and get right back on the mountain, feeling completely happy and satisfied.

The 'I've died and gone to heaven burger' and a side of Mac and Cheese!

The best place for lunch on the mountain!Ordered the 'I've died and gone to heaven burger' and it was delicious! Probably the tastiest place to eat at the mountain, and good value by comparison to the other restaurants, too. Burgers are about $13, and include French fries AND a side! The boozy shakes are fantastic - try 'the snow day.' May not be great for groups at lunch time due to the long wait. If your in a small group eat at the bar - first come, first serve and same menu as the sit-down option. Told it was going to be a 30 minute wait for two in the restaurant, but turned out to be less than a 5 minute wait to snag chairs at the bar during a busy lunch crowd.

Burger with bacon jam. Amazing :)

We stopped in during their opening month to see if it lived up to the hype, and it's safe to say this is exactly what the valley needed. The Atmosphere The first thing you notice is the arcade. It's a total game-changer if you have kids (or if you're just a competitive adult). It keeps the vibe lively without feeling like a chaotic playground, and it's a great way to kill time while waiting for a table or hanging out after a day on the slopes. The Food We sampled a bit of everything, and for a brand-new kitchen, they are already hitting their stride: The Wings: These were the standout. Crispy skin, juicy interior, and the sauces actually have some personality. Definitely get an order for the table. Roasted Chicken: This is the ultimate comfort dish. It was perfectly seasoned and felt like a high-end home-cooked meal. If you want something hearty but not "pub heavy," this is the move. Tenderloin Sandwich: Wow. The steak was incredibly tender (as promised) and served on a fresh roll that didn't fall apart. It's a massive step up from your standard steak sandwich.

I managed to get us a table within a 10 minute wait thankfully. Our group of 4 was seated and we started with drinks and appetizers. My go to is an Aperol spritz and here it is a huge glass! For appetizers we started with a burrata, fire roasted meatballs, and the nachos to share. The burrata was delicious and paired perfectly with pesto and tomatoes. All you needed to do was add salt. The fire roasted meatballs were okay I definitely wouldn't order them again. The nachos are an absolute must as a share. They came out on a giant pizza tray and we add chili for extra protein! I was impressed our party was able to eat everything. Next we ordered our main courses. I ordered the baby beet salad which was nice and light with goat cheese pecans and beets which I absolutely love. My boyfriend ordered the corned beef Reuben which was delicious. His only complaint were his fries came out ice cold somehow but the sandwich was hot. The rest of our party orders buffalo chicken wings which were moist and had a nice spicy kick. For the amount of food and drinks we ordered our bill was around $200 with tip which was very reasonable being so close to Mount snow. Parking gets packed easily and we had two cars waiting for my spot by the time we left. I highly recommend the last chair for après ski. They even have this cool arcade for kids and adults next door.

The beer selection is well pretty wide. All craft or micro beers most from New England but a few further afield. If you are a sour beer fan this place is for you . It would be like a Christmas any month of the year. I am not a sour beer fan, in fact I really detest them. But if you like them, you will in a very happy place here. I had the Stone Corral Oktoberfest (Richmond Vermont). It was a pretty fine take on a . Marzen style ale. We shared a pretzel and the cheese board. The pretzel was your typical enormous soft pretzel. This one was just at should be fresh, slight chewy crust and soft inside. The Dijon mustard dip was good. The cheese board was huge enough for two for a lunch . A Brie like cheese, a pungent delicious blue cheese and a smooth but distinct hard cheese as well as a nice fruit jam , some slices of salami and actual fresh green grapes . Good service and pleasant staff. I didn't have them but the oysters look good and the prices for oysters on the half were quite reasonable

The forests surrounding the restaurant are lovely, and sometimes you might even see a bear! But the food is what sets this place apart. I had the duck, and it was perfectly prepared. The skin was crispy, the meat was moist, and the wild cherry sauce was a perfect tartness and acidity to offset the rich flavor of the duck. The salad that came with the entree was also noteworthy. The little leaf lettuce was crisp and fresh, and it was perfectly dressed. Also, the dessert was truly unexpectedly good. It's rare a place can do such a good job with both the food and dessert, but such is the case at Two Tannery. I tried both the warm berry crumble and the coffee crisp tart. Both were elegantly presented, and the flavors were rich, balanced, and delightful.

The food came out quickly and was delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient. You can tell this is a place that's well run and cares about its customers. But what truly set TC's apart was Lauren, the manager. After our visit, my young son accidentally left behind a backpack that holds a lot of sentimental value to us. Lauren personally took the time to locate it and then mailed it back to us in New Jersey at no charge. That level of thoughtfulness and care is incredibly rare and meant so much to our family. We will absolutely be back anytime we're in the area, and we can't recommend TC's highly enough -- not just for the food, but for the people. This is how you create lifelong customers. This little New England restaurant, though, still had first-come, first-serve seating, and parking lot a bit crowded but found a spot at a corner to park. They originally had a 2hr wait for 14 ppl (we had a few tables ahead of us) but ended up giving us two tables if we were ok to cram together, which we were - super grateful for that! Didn't realize it before we went, but this shop was Kelly Clark's parents' restaurant, and the memorabilia was cool. Cheap beers and drinks, wings were ok (wings needed to be crispier and have more spicy buffalo sauce, the bbq version was just ok). The chowder was thinner compared to Anchor Seafood down the way, and the tuna nachos were ok (on light puffed rice chips w/ some seaweed salad to the side, mayo or similar across the top could've been better with some yuzu or ponzu sauce instead). Fried pickles were large and great, though, as were the fried cheese and pretzels. The truffle cheese fries were heavy but still needed more cheese and table didn't enjoy it as much. St. Louis Ribs were ok, but the Short Rib Stroganoff and the Lobster Mac N' Cheese were table favorites - and warmed up really well the next day with the generous portion helping balance the cost as it was basically two meals in one. Game and fun bathroom signs in the waiting area upfront. Staffers were busy but definitely worked to satisfy our tables' orders and needs and kept cheery while at it. Very tight seating spaces so make a note if you're on the bigger side, it may not be as comfortable depending on the seat you get. A bit spendier (there's food tax, LWB tax, and town tax...) but no credit card surcharge. Overall I'm giving this a 4 star b/c of the service. Food I've had better, but service was very helpful.
