Spending the day on the Mount Snow tubing slides worked up an appetite, and the burger smells coming from the lodge were too good to ignore. We were seated right away and handed menus, then placed our order at the bar counter. That setup made the line move a bit slowly, but once we did order, the food came out surprisingly fast. I went with the shroom & Swiss burger, which had good flavor but was cooked more than I like, even though I ordered it medium rare. The chopped mushrooms on top were a nice touch and added a bit of earthy flavor to almost every bite. Very disappointed as this place used to be a great place to grab food during or after you day at Mt. Snow. The menu is now drastically reduced and the prices are much higher. Went in and was told to just go up to the bar to order. Also they were out of all shakes. The old menu sourced local ingredients from nearby Vermont farms. A very inclusive menu while skiing at Mount Snow. They had a vegetarian and vegan option on the menu which was super helpful and asked if there was any allergies or preferences to leave anything off of the order. They had quick grab and go options for people who do not have dietary restrictions - had hamburgers with fries, hot dogs with fries, and cheeseburgers with fries that they would continuously put out to avoid any wait times which was great. The kitchen is an open kitchen so you can see them cooking and prepping the food which I appreciate as a vegan, and also knowing your food is coming from a clean place is important. Here's the key to having a fantastic experience at 1900 Burger: Get on the slopes around 10 AM and ski/snowboard until 2 PM. You'll be good and tired, and will have bypassed the lunch rush. After 2, you pretty much have your pick of booths near the window (a good place to dry off your things). I don't usually partake, given my beginner status on the mountain, but my friends usually grab a beer or two (this seems to be the key to having a fantastic rapport with the wait staff). On to the menu - I've had the 1900 Burger, the Mac Burger, and The I've-Died-and-Gone-to Heaven burger. All good. And the sides are even better (especially the Mac N' Cheese, Corn Bread, and Fries). If your in a small group eat at the bar - first come, first serve and same menu as the sit-down option. I was blessed to not have had to stand in line to get the table as my friends went in prior. I grabbed that "one more run..." as I hadn't been out on the slopes in forever and just couldn't stop. So down "Roller Coaster" I went. The waitress graciously grabbed me a chair, plopped it on the end of the table and handed me a menu. Food was out pretty quickly considering the time of day we were there...and it was jamming. Anyways..as luck would have it they snagged a table right next to the windows so lunch with a view it was! I ordered 'the I've-died-and-gone-to-heaven burger'. The description said it was topped with a blend of cheeses..honestly all I could taste was the bleu..and I am a fan of bleu just not in that capacity I guess so I scraped a good amount of it off. That aside, the bacon was cooked to perfection, the burger was a medium rare beauty and OH MY WORD the Cabot Mac & Cheese side literally made me a better person for eating it. In retrospect, I am a sad panda for not getting 'the mac burger'. I will admit 'the chi kim, chi' burger also did catch my attention, as I am a huge fan of spice, however, no one, and I mean NO ONE is a match for sriracha when it decides to hit you, and if it hits you on a stopped lift with a bubble enclosure, that won't be a good scene. read more

My friends and I rented a house near Mount Snow for a bachelor party. We mostly did bbq's on the deck overlooking the mountain but we ran out of food by the 3rd day so we ended up coming to 1900 Burger. It is absolutely awesome here. Aptly named the "I Have Died and Gone to Heaven Burger" the combination of flavors was almost cathartic and curing a case of American blues. Reasonable prices for being such a desirable slice of real estate. VERY CLEAN! I am fastidious about cleanliness and this place, except for some chipped paint is spotless. Friendly, efficient service- they even give you a basket of every condiment including Frank's and Hellman's Mayo. This is the blue square of on mountain food... Often times restaurants on the ski mountains are either crowded, wet, overpriced cafeterias or uber high end, DB filled attempts at fine dining. This spot finds a nice middle ground. The burgers are good, the service is quick and the pricing is just a little higher than what you find at your standard ski cafeteria or bar. We actually ended up eating here for lunch and dinner on the same day; not on purpose. It was super busy during lunch, but lets be honest, everywhere on a ski mountain is packed during lunch. It may have been the fact that it was just my wife and I, and probably helped that we ate what I would consider early (11:30), but we got seated right away. I went with a Grilled Cheese because I had a bad burger experience the night before at the restaurant in the Grand Summit lobby (way too spendy and awful tasting...made worse by the cost no doubt), and had a vanilla milkshake for dessert. Both were excellent. The fries were good, but not really my style. For dinner, we didn't pay close enough attention to the hours of the restaurants (they all closed earlier than we would ever have guessed being that there are people staying on the mountain), and this was the only place left open when we looked for dinner. We literally sat in the same booth, and had the same waitress. This time I got a cheeseburger with a fried egg on it. It too was excellent, and so was the vanilla milkshake again, but two milkshakes in one day was a bad decision...just too much. Okay, so I get Mount Snow is going to be packed on a Saturday in February after a foot of powder the night before. I get that this may yet be your best food option unless you want to grab something cafeteria style and stake out a table in the Main Lodge. But that doesn't mean you should make a point to get here. We waited for 90+ minutes for a table for two, luckily we decided to forego skiing for the day by that point. The food sucks. Greasy, heavy, gross swill. Jiggly bacon. But sometimes you want that after burning calories on the slopes, I guess. Don't be fooled by the mountain billing this as a nicer option. Don't expect good service. It's your typical stoner/drunk crowd that you find in mountain resorts in winter or down the shore in summer. This goes for the bar area too, where despite a packed bar orders were only taken from the two bartenders between taking care of their boys and shoving fries down their gullet. Sweet. Beers are relatively cheap though when you can get em. $5 tops for decent drafts. read more

Not worth it. Have been coming here for years because of the lack of options, but won't be back. The service was always bad, but has been getting worse. The wait is so long and then they rush you out before you are done eating. We spent almost $500 on lunch only to be rudely rushed out. The food is fine at best. Once you walk in I was greeted by a nice hostess that led me in after a short waiting period. Here youll walk into an atmosphere that is way more welcoming than the rest of the resort. There is plenty of space to kick back where in the main lodge is cramped and its a wet mess from all the snow tracking in. The carpeted floors here and generously spaced tables make it a nice environment to be in. After a long day of riding my buddies and I were ravenous. When we looked at the menu we wanted to eat everything. Most dishes had a clever name to it and looked to be choices youd find at semi-high-end restaurants using artisan combination of ingredients. Specifically, I ordered the "Ive died and gone to heaven" burger which incorporated a mixing of various cheeses on a burger patty with bacon. After receiving the burger, it didnt look too special and after a bite, it didnt taste special either. Our server was in a constant rush and gave off the vibe that she wanted to leave right after we finished eating. We got our bill not 5 minutes after receiving our food. I would almost understand if the place was packed and they were short on tables, wanting to flow customers out as fast as possible. This wasnt the case. There was plenty of seats and the rushed service was not justified. The reasonable prices and warm atmosphere are this places saving grace. I might consider returning if only to avoid the chaos of people at the main lodge and needing to hunting down seats. read more

Decent ambiance but aside from that there was little to enjoy about our experience. Most of our food was luke warm at best despite us being the first people to sit down right at 11am. They brought out the wrong meal, and told us we were wrong when we asked to give it back to get the correct meal. Burgers were delicious. Ordered the burger with the onion rings and bbq on it. The bbq sauce was unique in that it was very chunky but great flavor. The jalapeno slaw also had a nice kick and worked well with the burger. Service was good so i would definitely recommend this place between trips down the mountain. read more

I go to mount snow all the time and have genuinely enjoyed every local restaurant. However, 1900 is by far one of the best spots. Last season I went there and fell in love with both bartenders. Their food is great but it's their service that always wins me over. There's nothing better than two bartenders who can entertain you and make you enjoy your time there. This is about as good a meal as you will get on the mountain at Mt. Snow. Lines can be long, but most people agree it is worth the wait. I liked a bunch of different burgers and the baked beans are the best side, just edging out the chili. Fun beer selection and eating at the bar is a definite option at busy times. I think everyone reviewing this has the tastebuds of Jaba the hut. I ate here the weekend of January 22nd, and boy what a mistake. I thought this would be a pretty good burger place not having been on the mountain before. Mcdonalds has better burgers and fries than this place. And at 12-15 a pop, you'd be better off on the $1.00 Menu. If you claim to be a specialty burger joint, you better live up to that name. I can't recommend anyone who isn't wasted drunk and without tastebuds eat here. I would rather go to bed hungry than eat here again. Only plus was that the service was good. read more

The burgers here are delicious, you get a huge portion with fries and your choice of a side. The fries are very good. I chose macaroni and cheese for my additional side and it was tasty, very filling! They have a decent selection of beers on tap. There are not many healthy options on the menu, but it's a good option for a heavy lunch while skiing. Although, it is VERY crowded. I suggest getting there either really early for lunch around 11:00 AM or very late after the lunch crowd. Otherwise you will be waiting 40 minutes plus for a table and your service will be slow just due to the amount of people needing to be served. No one wants to spend a few hours off the slopes for lunch, so plan your time accordingly if you want to try this place. read more

This place may seem like the only "good" option on the mountain. Don't let this deceive you. They have extremely poor management and their staff is undertrained. Their bartenders were extremely selective and cold to guests, especially "non locals". Their servers were disorganized and were not able to deal with very reasonable customer requests. As an outsider not from the local state of vermont I felt personally discriminated against being labeled a "New Yorker". I was denied access to the bar despite my legal access with identification. We went as far as bringing the manager over to settle the dispute who finally allowed me to receive a beer. The food was half decent but did not impress or override the horrendous hospitality.
