Stacey was a great waiter, recommended her favorite which was the BLT which was delicious !!! Added avocado to the meal (which you can do as well), it made it excellent for our lunch! Took some time to make which we were well informed, due to a busy lunch crowd with to-go orders (which you can do separately as well), but overall was a great experience! UFO white is on draft which definitely hit the spot for our whole morning round of ski trails! There's a new winter menu to check out! There's also heated lamps for outdoor dining at a 30 min limit, great views of the whole mountain. COVID Safety: social distancing is in high effect all over the ski mountain, indoor/outdoor, hand sanitizers are provided, masks are required, & you must make reservations in advance using this link: Date /Time slots https://inntopia.travel/ecomm/shop/activities/12962039/?productsupercategoryId=1269&mc_cid=81535b4518&mc_eid=69e7dc1f3c

This place has decent food and good drinks that are fairly priced. It gets crowded during lunch time because most of the skiirs are most likely to come here for a bite The staff is really nice, but the service itself is super slow! It took forever for a simple Cesar salad to be served.

I cannot believe the salad was so good and $5.00! Fresh greens and tomatoes, candied walnuts, blue cheese and great balsamic!

Super locals dinner tonight! Chicken schnitzel was cooked to perfect and fresh salty french fries. I loved the garden salad with fresh greens and delicious blue cheese and candied walnuts. Nice balsamic dressing! I am coming back for the new prime rib night tomorrow night (Friday) I am sure it will be great as well!

This restaurant/bar is located inside Magic Mountain ski resort. I watched as the bar staff greeted customers by name, so I can only assume that most people here are locals. The place was packed so it wasn't always easy to get the staff's attention and the food took forever to arrive. The burger was decent, but the extra crispy fries were some of the best I've ever had. Apparently, Bloody Marys are their specialty and I witnessed many people ordering it. It did look quite interesting and unique. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of Bloody Marys. The staff seemed really friendly and the prices are extremely reasonable.

Recent renovation and overhaul in December 2016 relocated the bar, brought in a new cook and staff, new furniture, carpeting and 12 tap beer system. Amazing changes, great food and a great vibe. If you are in Londonderry or the surrounding area, give the Black Line Tavern a try. Located on the second floor of the lodge building.

This is the meatloaf if you can call it that. Stone cold mind you. Those green peas I know for a fact by the color are coming out of a can.

Upper Pass is a very nice ski lodge with a nice Vermont feel. The room was spacious and clean and in addition to the main bedroom there was a smaller bedroom with bunk beds and a sink. The decor was nice without being overbearing. Plenty of room, good TV, a desk and couple of comfortable beds. The bathroom was fine with a good shower. There was a small coffee maker in the room and they also stocked the room with some breakfast bars. The rooms do not have a refrigerator or microwave. In the lobby of the lodge is the Red Slate restaurant and bar which are not open on Monday or Tuesday. There is also a nice living room with a fireplace, couches and lots of games. Upper Pass Lodge is an excellent option if you are looking to stay in the Londonderry area. The lodge is welcoming and friendly, it has a great feel as an independent hotel, plus on the times I have stayed it has offered outstanding value for lodging on a Vermont ski trip. Okemo is about 1/2 hour away and Mount Snow is a bit further. The Upper Pass Lodge does hospitality right.

We followed it to the 18th century farmhouse in Londonderry, VT. When we got there, it was not open so I took out my phone and made a reservation on the spot for dinner in two days. Since this was the week before our anniversary, we decided to treat ourselves to this experience. The menu left us guessing at first. There was no delineation of appetizers and entrees. When it was explained to us that items at the top of the menu were considered appetizers because of the portion size, it was a little clearer. But we were still left guessing what was the portion size of these items. We thought we would start with the sourdough rye. It came piping warm with smoked butter. The smoked butter had a bolder taste than your typical sweet cream butter. He wanted the House Made Orecchiette which was a duck sausage but our server said it had a bit of spice but would be manageable. Thankfully, she asked the chef and reported back that it really was spicy so he changed his order to match mine which was the Seared Labelle Farm Duck Breast. Labelle Farm is where they sourced the duck. I love that they know where their food comes from! We both enjoyed the duck immensely. It came with Solo's very own farm fresh vegetables. For dessert, we ordered the cheesecake with blueberry compote. Someone brought it with a candle and said, "happy birthday or anniversary." Nice that they put a candle on the cheesecake but I did say it was our anniversary on the reservation. I guess that kinda ruined it for me that she didn't bother to look what special event we were celebrating. The meal was lovely. The farmhouse setting was quaint. You hear all the footsteps of the hardwood floors whenever someone walked. My only critique was that it was VERY warm inside. There was one window that was slightly cracked open but no breeze was felt. It was so warm that we had to ask for ice in our water. I think our meal would have been more enjoyable if we weren't sweating our way through dinner. I guess 18th century farmhouses didn't have air conditioning.

Our group ordered a bunch of burgers and took heed of some reviewers' warnings-- the burgers are kinda small so you'll want a double or a whole other burger if you're hungry! For me, they were just the right size to satisfy! I got the sLAMBer burger which was SO GOOD, such an amazing mix of flavors that I couldn't stop gushing about how good it was! I heard similar sounds of approval from friends enjoying their burgers (the jam one was really popular in our group). Fries weren't spectacular but when you want fries, a GOOD fry is all you need. Now the honey pie! 3 of us ordered a slice and I think everyone enjoyed it! It's a sweet baked good unlike anything I've really had before and the salt flakes on top help to cut the sweetness. It was a bit too sweet for me to eat on my own in one sitting but I still liked it! I wish they delivered but we didnt mind picking up the order since it was only 6 min away by car! I originally thought the prices were sorta expensive for burgers but honestly not that bad because what you get is so delicious. I'm super interested in trying their 16 oz matcha milkshake... next time!

Indeed, this is a big gallery (with a restaurant inside it) so its great for browsing, particularly if you're waiting for your meals. Food is fresh and very good. Had a miso soup while others had a potato/celery soup too. And a mushroom pasta dish to start was also tasty. For main dishes, the salmon was well done with an ample portion. On the negative: The service was haphazard on a busy Saturday night. Go on a weeknight when it is less crowded. They didn't fill out water glasses and seemed to disappear for stretches of time. Also, the "frites" on the steak au frites dish were cold and a plain pasta was a little al dente. Also, the place lacks air conditioning which is 95% fine in Vermont, except on that really warm day. Which was the day we were there. (I should note that our dinner companions had been there on the prior Thursday and said the experience then was spectacular, so the kitchen could've been a bit off on a dish or two). But overall, we had a very pleasant experience and one of the better restaurants in the South Central area. A definite place to go if you're looking for a night out..

The attitude that we encountered being told we cannot be accommodated that night would not be something tolerable in the hospitality business and we're glad we didn't spend any money here. We could have easily made reservations for next time if the guy did not let out a god awful sigh like we were I interrupting something. I'm sure the food would have been good, but the service we received was absolutely terrible.

Just a little local restaurant that shares a building with a small market. Maple Leaf is utilitarian, nothing fancy, but service is good and the food just what you would expect. Since it had been a while since I had a good diner breakfast I figured I would get one of my favorites, the French Toast. My meal was 3 full slices with a little side of butter patties and a small bottle of maple syrup. I expected the French Toast to be a bit sweet, but this was more just bread dipped in eggs and grilled; it lacked the custardy goodness and moist interior I look for in the best French Toast. Overall this was OK, but nothing special. Maple Leaf seems like a nice little place with pretty good food, unfortunately I think I just picked the wrong item and my expectations may have been to high.
