Customer service. Two members of the Rx team are quick to call regarding refills! In other words, no Robo calls. And, the pharmacists are willing to discuss matters face to face. In this gilded age of impersonal service, Northern is a jewel. Bottom line? Independent druggists are popping up everywhere and they're competitive with the big guys. To that end, Northern Pharmacy is worth every consideration.

I went in to return a Amazon package just to be told that they can't scan the code from my phone, she did offer an option to use the photo machine to create a photo copy of the code which was ok if it worked. I spent almost 20 minutes with the machine trying to upload the image, female worker just kept mumbling the machines are old and slow and the internet is always down while shes also on her phone she then tells me you can go online to CVS App and send photo through photo upload from app and it will go to the machine automatically. Well after I did that she disappeared, enough time for me to use the restroom in the store and to look around for other things to purchase. She finally comes back up to ask me if the photo came out, I'm like where is it coming to, that's when she proceeded to go to the printer to grab the picture which was able to now be scanned. Overall my package was sent and I didn't have to pay the $.42 for the photo which was cool cause of all the complications I had so I appreciated her for that.

Rude and Unprofessional - Refused Service…read more I came in to get passport photos taken, and the worker had an attitude from the start. They acted annoyed and made it clear they didn't want to help. It got to the point where they actually refused to take my passport pictures which was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. There was no reason to treat a customer that way. If Walgreens wants to keep people coming here, they need to hire staff who know how to treat customers with basic respect. I'll definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Thought maybe I'd get a drink while I waited but there's a large cart full of boxes blocking the cooler over by Starbucks, and all the slushies are empty. Thankfully, after checking all the smaller coolers in the checkout lane, I found a Pepsi. Shopping for this long is thirsty work. We're doing a major Christmas shopping extravaganza with my mom and we've already been here for two hours. I was able to find all the things I wanted though, including a $20 immersion blender. This is the third one we've had in ten years. At this price I won't feel so sad when it breaks, too. Not the worst Christmas shopping trip at Target, but more open registers would be welcomed.

The problems with this store are not local. Meaning I've been to a LOT of CVS s in Md over the…read moreyears, because they take my insurance, or I would go elsewhere. Most of the issues result from company policy. The company went from trying to be open 24 hours with locations everywhere and with insufficient staffing to accomplish the task. Legal action happened as a result. Instead of hiring more staff now they close for 30 minutes so the current one can get a break and reduced their hours. This location is one of the few that I've seen that HAS a public bathroom. This was my primary pharmacy for 4 years. Most of them are nice, considerate, and compassionate, and some of them still remember me after moving away for 3 years and only coming in intermittently because the one I switched to in my area are twice as slow with half of the business and most of them seem bothered that they have to help you. I've never felt that way at the Nottingham store. I had to go back there recently because my pharmacy couldn't refill my meds due to shortages. My local CVS didn't call me, or otherwise attempt to talk to me. I checked the app and it went from available Monday, to being on hold, with no supply. They didn't call other stores for me and I can't- they won't tell me, company policy due to theft. I still haven't heard from them. My doctor sent my following month Rx to Nottingham and I got it the same day, and the person at the register remembered me, explained about supply issues and that they too had just gotten in back in stock. Anyway, all pharmacies are overworked. They have to deal with your doctor, your insurance company and then you, they are understaffed and underpaid and under-appreciated. They usually never catch up no matter how hard they work and yet CVS corporate doesn't understand why people don't want to work there. I would give the store higher based on that information but they are the ones that pay for the company's policies but that isn't fair either. Thus my 3 stars.

Jeremy is one of those people who can't go anywhere without a beverage, so we stopped at CVS to get a Monster... and an orange vanilla coke for me. Both of which were outrageously priced, but that's inflation, I suppose. Many shelves were absolutely bare. I suspect they're removing all the summer stuff and getting ready for Hallow-xmas. It's a basic CVS situation. I only go into those stores when I need a quick beverage. I DO use a CVS pharmacy, but even then we only use the drive-thru. Going inside always seems like such a hassle. We didn't interact with any employees. We used self check-out. It was a fairly painless experience. I appreciate the ramp and the automatic doors. I wish more stores had those.
