I feel bad for being so mad at them. However I don't like being lectured or interrupted repeatedly especially when they are the ones in error. Their order arrived late so my delivery got canceled. Then they didn't make sure I knew it was happening for some reason. It wasn't actually my fault as I was led to believe. If they were able to slow down a little to respectfully communicate, it would make a world of difference.

Staffing is an issue in a lot of organizations right now, especially health care. My specific concern is when a customer schedules a COVID test with the Pharmacy, receives a confirmation email after booking, and a reminder email about the appointment a few hours before the scheduled test only to present to the drive-thru Pharmacy to find a sign stating the Pharmacy is closed for the entire day. Instead of sending a reminder about the appointment, why not notify your customers the Pharmacy will be unexpectedly closed and work to rebook those appointments elsewhere or on a different date? Staff in the store were very helpful and explained they are having Pharmacy staffing issues at Walgreens across the state of Maine. They were directed to send any Pharmacy customers to another local Walgreens. The only problem with that open Pharmacy is three others Walgreens were redirecting customers to that location, resulting in a line of cars through the entire parking lot and down the busy road leading to the store. A 2-3 hour wait at a new location after the original Pharmacy staff abandoned their scheduled appointments with customers is unacceptable. There are certainly more efficient ways Walgreens Pharmacy Management can lead their operations in light of their staffing challenges. Proactive communication with the customer would be a good start. I recommend residents of Maine strongly consider Pharmacy options other than Walgreens until they can get all of this sorted, especially if you are looking for COVID testing. I am also notifying the Maine CDC of my experience with Walgreens as their website on COVID testing options in the state is directing people to Walgreens and no other Pharmacies.

Grilled one, loved and did it again! Cool. Chicken and shrimp decent (get the large). Able to find most things but not everything I was looking for. For instance, always out of Hepa filters in smaller sizes, does not carry crustacean utensils like the little forks but had a nice shell cracker to open crab legs. Speaking of crab legs, the Jonah crab legs were a pleasant surprise so I had them twice. Not as good as florida stone crab legs but decent. Easy parking, in general friendly staff when you can find them. Good hours. Safe to shop there. Decent prices. All good.

My whole family goes here and everyone always has great things to say about the Manager here she is one of the best Pharmacists in the area! I'm glad I made the switch here over a year ago!

Last week I went into pick up a prescription after receiving a text that it was ready. There was an issue with my health insurance - definitely not the store's fault. I left. Spent a couple days dealing with the insurance company but ultimately got it done. Went back today. The woman at the drive through first told me there were no prescriptions for me. I showed her the texts and handed her my insurance card. After a few minutes she told me my insurance wasn't valid. I assured her it was - since I'd just confirmed with my carrier two hours earlier. "No" was still her answer. She handed my card back and I left. Went back to the store half an hour or so later, after again calling my insurance company. This time a friendly and competent person helped me. She put in my new number to update the system. Voila, everything was there. Sadly, this person was working on something else so handed me off to another employee. He looked at me and asked, "weren't you in here earlier?" Yes. This is my third time. "Your insurance isn't valid." Yes it is. The number has been updated. He told the woman who had been working at the window that she should have put in the beneficiary number first. He told me it would be another 20 minutes. It would have been really nice if (a) the first person I'd talked to actually did her job and checked the correct number, not just the name - and if she could (b) after I had to come back a second time and advocate for myself to get this properly done, actually filled it for me without making me wait another 20 minutes.
