We walked in and the food smelled beautiful. This pizza place is cute! and kind of scrappy! It is in the basement of a library and I think only one guy was working, taking orders and cooking pizzas? But we didn't have to wait long. We got a 16 inch pizza with garlic cream sauce, spinach, feta and kalamata olives. Something had a zing - I thought it was the olives, my sisters thought it was a the sauce. It was very good. Really enjoyed it. There was a bank of parking spots right to it. Everything was easy. Would go back!

I have been searching literally for years for a decent pizza where I now live in CA- but Cibo's took me right back to my favorite childhood NY style pizza. Run- don't walk- to this single proprietor pizza spot located in auburn ME library- separate entrance. Even my other half- who is vegan- was raving about her vegan pizza. Neither of us is easy to please in the food department, but this place takes a grand prize - at a reasonable price. You can taste the pride in this pizza.

Hands down, my favorite pizza experience I've had in the Lewiston/Auburn area! Located right below the Auburn public library, it makes for a great lunch spot after story time with your littles or a morning of perusing books. Although the space is quite small and simple, the pizza (the reason for your visit) is the star. The options on the menu are fun and original and since it's a pizza joint, it's pretty fun that it's all they offer-- that's when you know it's good! The owner is super friendly and made our visit even better, from helping us decide on our pizza order to answering our questions! Keep in mind, if looking to order takeout, the owner mentioned that they are usually very busy during a dinner rush (and sell out most nights) so if you're interested in ordering, it's best to do online rather than by calling. I'm not sure how ordering in the restaurant works at those busy times but I do know we had no issues during lunch. The pizzas also came out quickly which was a huge bonus considering we had our two small children with us. Not to keep this review going however it is important to mention that pizza crust is probably my favorite part of the pizza and the crust here is phenomenal! I love how the owner really took time to hone in his recipes and is keeping the restaurant aspect of the business low-key so that he can maintain the quality of a delicious tasting pie! Its a great pizza-parlor in the L/A area and I'm here for it!

This is the best pizza I've had in a long time. The crust us light & crunchy. We had the pepperoni pie and sausage & fennel. So good! The man working was very friendly. We sat inside and enjoyed our pizza. It's located at the bottom of a beautiful library.

Great pizza place with a few tables if you want to eat in. The garlic bread and marina was great!

Located in a narrow space beneath the library is super cool! Old book deposit door remains just inside the entryway. I arrived about 6:30, which is only 30 minutes before they close and the friendly guy behind the counter happily took my order. Seems odd to me they would close at 19:00, but hey this is Auburn, Maine. I ordered the sausage and fennel and walked it back to my hotel. The crust is a perfect New York style, crispy on the bottom; but, flexible, tasty and not at all tough or too chewy as most places are churning out. You can tell they have put effort into this dough recipe. There was a good ratio of sausage, sauce and cheese. The sausage was finely ground and I would prefer to have had some bigger chunks. I wasn't certain if they would add some fresh fennel, or fennel seeds. Honestly, I'm not detecting much in the way of fennel taste, sight or aroma. Regardless, I'd stop back in a heartbeat next time I'm in Auburn!

Woooooooo this fire ass vegan pizza in Auburn, Maine?!? We got the plant based buffalo chicken and supreme pizzas. And we were all extremely impressed!!! The crust is delightful, the size of the pizza was incredible and the toppings were delicious. I'm a big sauce person and I really enjoyed the red sauce AND especially the drizzled red bell pepper sauce! Everything about it was fantastic, would highly recommend.

Whenever I'm back home to visit, I like to get some good pizza and Pat's Pizza is probably my second favorite spot. (Sorry, Pat. George's is #1.) That said, Pat's still delivers a solid pie. It's classic, familiar, and hits the spot in a way only Maine pizza can. It's definitely a bit greasy, so get a few extra napkins and maybe don't wear anything you care too much about. But let's be honest, that grease is half the appeal. They offer hard cider, which is a nice touch if you want something cold and crisp to wash things down. And if you sit upstairs by the window, you'll get a surprisingly nice view of the Androscoggin River. Sure, the river's still a little polluted and the Lewiston side you're seeing is industrial-looking, but there's a weird charm to it. Kind of like the pizza. Overall, Pat's is a dependable, no-frills place that does what it does well. It's not trying to impress anyone from the big city, and that's exactly why it works.

As I've moved up to Aroostook County, Maine, ive had some of the worst pizza ive ever had up there so on a recent trip back from CT, I searched out "New Haven style pizza in Maine" and "Fire & Ice Maine popped up so I tried it today! The service and people working there could not be nicer and when they knew I was from Connecticut, we really got into the nuances of what makes it great. I actually met the owner on my way out and he could not be nicer, telling me all of the places he's been to and worked at in the New Haven pizza area of Wooster Street. So I got in my car and opened up the box and was pleasantly surprised to finally see a pizza even look like New Haven. After biting into it, it was addicting! No flop, an "8" on the undercarriage and cooked right on top! The sauce was very close and it was crispy too! The only thing off and this is REALLY being picky was the chewiness but again, this is really being picky! Overall, a 4.8 on a 5 star scale and THEE BEST NEW HAVEN APIZZA is. MAINE to date! But seriously, if you're a hummus fan, do yourself a favor and order it. My wife and I visited for an employee outing, and we were impressed. The staff was friendly and efficient, quickly taking and delivering drink orders. Our group ordered several appetizers, all of which arrived in a reasonable time. I sampled a few chicken wings, but I mainly focused on my pita and hummus plate--and I'm glad I did! Having spent time in the Middle East, I know what freshly made hummus tastes like, and this did not disappoint. It was served with carrots, Greek black olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a drizzle of Greek olive oil seasoned with pepper. The pepper-infused olive oil added a whole new depth of flavor--something I'd never had before. After one bite, my wife and a few of her coworkers instantly regretted not ordering it themselves. Being the generous guy I am, I shared a little... but not too much! The prices were reasonable, and the quality matched what you'd expect from a great Greek restaurant. I'd love to go back and explore more of the menu, though due to dietary restrictions, I won't be able to indulge in the pizza that everyone raves about. But if it's anything like the hummus, I can only imagine how good it must be!
