Customer service in pharmacy. Myself and an autistic gentleman we're both told then, we had to wait ten to fifteen minutes for our orders and when it was ready, we had to get back in line and wait.. I had to wait even though I received an email on both were ready. Even the gentleman was saying that was not fair over and over. The employees in the pharmacy have no empathy whatsoever and are very rude. Never again will I go there... I found a smaller pharmacy. I am definitely not surprised to see this rated as only one star. Every time I go in, the line and wait are long; the staff is stressed and rude. Last week I went into pick up a prescription after receiving a text that it was ready. There was an issue with my health insurance - definitely not the store's fault. I left. Spent a couple days dealing with the insurance company but ultimately got it done. Went back today. The woman at the drive through first told me there were no prescriptions for me. I showed her the texts and handed her my insurance card. After a few minutes she told me my insurance wasn't valid. I assured her it was - since I'd just confirmed with my carrier two hours earlier. "No" was still her answer. She handed my card back and I left. Went back to the store half an hour or so later, after again calling my insurance company. This time a friendly and competent person helped me. She put in my new number to update the system. Voila, everything was there. Sadly, this person was working on something else so handed me off to another employee. He looked at me and asked, "weren't you in here earlier?" Yes. This is my third time. "Your insurance isn't valid." Yes it is. The number has been updated. He told the woman who had been working at the window that she should have put in the beneficiary number first. He told me it would be another 20 minutes. It would have been really nice if (a) the first person I'd talked to actually did her job and checked the correct number, not just the name - and if she could (b) after I had to come back a second time and advocate for myself to get this properly done, actually filled it for me without making me wait another 20 minutes. read more

Love the pharmacy...BUT, one of the techs (cashier's) had a real attitude problem. Skinny kid w a peach fuzz mustache.after I repeated my birth year. He started with " just asking" I replied " just repeating " I ignored the rest of his under the breath comments because I didn't go there for that. The worst pharmacy ever. My wife and I had reservations for covid boosters this Saturday. This CVS is a 45 minute drive from our hometown. When we arrived at 4pm for our 4:15pm appointment they informed us that they were "overbooked". They also told us that we should leave since they were closing at 5pm and they could not get to us by 5pm. Evidently they were not only "overbooked" they were not familiar with text, email, or the phone to notify us so we didn't have a wasted and unnecessary trip to their pharmacy. read more

Deplorable. A prescription called in on Monday at 9:00 a.m. . Calling everyday to see if it's ready and I am repeatedly told it will be ready by Saturday at 5:00 p.m. . Saturday comes along and guess what? It might be ready Monday. But you can call your provider and have them move it. I'm sure that will be a cinch to accomplish at 5:00 on a Saturday! It is service and actions like this that will push some people into the streets for their pharmaceutical needs. Because the guy downtown on the street corner he's going to have that medication in stock. So people who would normally be under a physician's care are now at the mercy of somebody who would sell your child fentanyl for 20 bucks. They are exacerbating the fentanyl problem here in the state of Maine and need to be looked at very closely by some board of overseers. There's a reason there are so many one-star reviews of this facility. And when you call corporate to make them aware of the situation the phone number comes up as MoneyGram. Just witnessed the guy ahead of me in line tell the pharmacy his order was wrong. Sounded like it was a repeat issue. They tried to blame the Dr office. The young man behind the counter got very argumentative and told the man to f off. The guy repeated it back and walked out. I got my Rx no issue but after that, I'm going elsewhere. While the employees are nice, This pharmacy is incompetent! They keep giving me the wrong medication! I'm insulin dependent and would like to have the correct insulin please! My endocrinologist office has called them multiple times and they still screw it up. They even failed to notify them that a prior authorization was needed, thus delaying everything another week. When I called and explained the situation the pharmacy tech told me to "fuck off." read more

If you don't want good service GO TO THIS CVS. They will tell you it takes 2 days to fill your prescription. After you tell them the Dr. Called it in at 8:00 am. They say they will look for it. Then you get upset and they tell you they will fill it. I thought it was just a bad day for them. Until my Daughter gets the same treatment a month later. Ban bad bad. read more
