I didn't enjoy the customer service. I was simply trying to refill a prescription and dealt with a attendant with an lack of patience in down hour. Very uninteresting in explaining or helping. Wow what a terrible CVS. The pharmacy is okay, but the workers at checkout are awful. The worst, incredibly rude and lazy. Have pictures to pick up? Forget about getting them here. Even showing them the confirmation, they literally said they don't care and to go to a different store. Need help finding an item? They'll tell you they don't have it without even checking. When in fact, they do. I don't think I've ever been to any place that has more consistent awful and lazy workers than this place. read more

I called a few times and kept getting disconnected from the pharmacy line, and I was getting really frustrated because I don't live in the city anymore and stopping in person to the pharmacy isn't exactly convenient for me. However, I finally got ahold of someone named Mark and he was absolutely amazing. I needed a refill on a prescription that had just expired, and I don't have an appointment with my new psychiatrist until Wednesday. I was almost in tears at the thought of celebrating Christmas off my meds (which would not be fun for anyone), but Mark put in an emergency supply of meds for me. Thank you so much for your help. On Sunday, 10/17 the pharmacy staff straight up lied to my face about my prescription being ready in an hour. On Monday, 10/18 I came and the pharmacy was closed because they didn't have a fill-in pharmacist (closed on a Monday morning!). I heard through a neighbor that they would open at 3:30 p.m. I went and my prescription WAS STILL NOT READY for my procedure the next day. Finally on Tuesday, 10/19 after 7 p.m. in the evening, I got a text saying it was ready. I had to start my colonoscopy procedure at 6 p.m., so I had to call and cancel my colonoscopy!. This is the main pharmacy for Charles Village AND JHU staff and students. I know it's COVID, but this isn't brain surgery: staff your pharmacy correctly!! Are there any adults overseeing things? This is the second time in a month I've experienced a misrepresentation about when something would be ready. Not OK. Going elsewhere, you can count on it. read more

Not sure why this location is still open. Nothing ever works. Horrible wait times. Very unorganized. Bins and forklifts left in the the middle of the aisle. Bins from the delivery are still out. Kiosk for coupons don't work. Scanner for photo both of them out of service. Poor customer service. read more

Had my doctor send a prescription here, they told her it would be ready in an hour. I went to pick it up and was told there was no prescription under my name. My doctor called it in again, I went back, same thing. I called the following day to ask about the status of the prescription, was told they "didn't know" if the medication was in stock (wtf) and that they would call me back. Never received a call. The NEXT day I called back, was on hold for 30 minutes before they picked up the phone and hung up on me. Called back and FINALLY got a hold of someone and was told there were two prescriptions ready for me . I don't like to leave bad reviews but if you need your medication ASAP definitely do not send it to this location. read more

Worst CVS I have ever been to. The line for the pharmacy was around an hour wait and the majority of customer's prescriptions were not even ready despite CVS sending a text saying the prescription was filled. So unfortunate, will be going to Walgreens from now on. read more

Overall it's a great store. The pharmacy moves quickly with filling prescriptions and if you're waiting in line to pick yours up. The workers in the rest of the store are friendly as well. The only downside to this store is that they don't have as much of a variety as other, bigger CVS stores. They have all the basic, but the miscellaneous stuff is lacking. I have never used the pharmacy at this location. I DO however, rely upon the consistently courteous and professional employees to direct me to a product or actually walk with me to an isle and find it!! Customers are acknowledged and greeted in a friendly manner immediately upon entering the store. The greeting card selection is cosiderable ...in multiple languages, last minute food items in the refrigerated sections a huge plus... more merchandise and drugstore related products than can be imagined and AGAIN a friendly helpful staff. I wish I could give this a half a star. Complete incompetence in the pharmacy. I went to pick up my mom's medicine that I received confirmation was ready. After arrival, I first was given medicine from almost a month ago (that I thought was the only prescription). After leaving the store I found out that there was another prescription. It wasn't given to me the first time so I went back. I was told that it was not ready. I insisted that it was ready, and so they checked. They claimed it was on hold because insurance didn't cover it. I further showed the text confirmation and affirmed that insurance covered it. Once again, I was rebuked and they stated it wasn't because it was $1,000 (that was a completely separate medication). I had to get my mom to come to the store and only then did they bother checking properly. Apparently they messed up and made two accounts for my mom and didn't check them both. Turns out it was in the shelf with the medicine the whole time. Every time I have gone in to pick up medicine, they have messed up either the prescription or made it a very unpleasant experience. 0/5 stars if I could. read more

The pharmacy staff is always working hard. However there are never enough people working in the pharmacy to help long lines of customers that are in the store and pharmacy, practically every day. You wait forever, and the entire store looks under- staffed. Shame on CVS for not hiring enough people to take care of its customers in such a busy area of town! read more

I stopped by with a friend to pick up snacks and coffee on a (holiday) Monday in the late afternoon/early evening. It wasn't too busy since it was a holiday and raining that day. This CVS is a lot bigger and nicer than the one I usually go to, probably because it's in a city center. Generally everything looked neat and was easy to find. However, when we were browsing for popcorn, we noticed that one of the boxes of popcorn appeared to be open already. Since the store was pretty empty, we got through check-out quickly; this may seem obvious but I have been to other nearly empty CVS locations in the past and had to wait to be rung up, so this was still a plus. Shaneeka at the cash register was really friendly. There did not appear to be self check-out machines in the store. read more

This is the most incompetent pharmacy that I have ever dealt with. I have sat with my doctor while she called in my script and they had no record of it. I called it in this Sunday, my doctor said she got no calls from them. I called her on Thursday and she called it in. Checked in the evening and no record. The service at this CVS Pharmacy is pretty terrible. The wait to pick up a prescription is usually long (I left and went next door to get a bagel sandwich and when I came back the same 4 people in front of me were still waiting to talk to a pharmacist). What's even more frustrating is the lack of customer service. I received a text that my script was ready so I went to pick it up 3 days later, and when I got there they said they didn't have any record of a prescription for me but to come back in 10 minutes. When I came back, they handed me my prescription, had me sign for it and walked away. I got home only to realize it was not the exact script my doctor had written but was a different generic version, yet they didn't say anything to me about changing it. I had to go back the next day and now I'm waiting another week for my actual one to get ordered. Very frustrating and consistently disappointing experiences at this CVS pharmacy. read more

Lovely sales staff who are genuinely helpful and friendly. Had a great experience yesterday and today when I had to pick up a few things for my sick hubby. It made life seem a little better after being greeted by a friendly smile and a sales associate who offered to help me find things I needed. Super clean and the associates are very nice and you can use samsung pay there. As of now they said you can't use apple pay.
