While I do not write many reviews I felt I had to let everyone know about the wonderful Pharmacist ROBERT CHONG, he has been such a help in getting my many Rxs filled over the years. He is always patient, helpful and professional no matter how hard my insurance carrier makes it to get my Rxs. Even though there are CVS closer to me, Robert and the rest of the staff there make it well worth the trip there. I just hope Robert's bosses know how lucky they are having him there doing the amazing job that he does. I'd been coming here to use this as an alternate pharmacy for my go to location. Tonight, I come here for my Covid booster shot. I was impressed when I was seen right away for the check in process but took a while before I was called for the administration of my shot. I noticed too that there is a long line for those picking up their prescriptions. This is a busy location I would say. The location size is double of my go to location. Be patient when you come to this location. Staff is nice though. Huge floor for its over the counter stocks. Lots of supplies, plenty to choose from. The extra star for this location is for its drive up accessibility, huge lot for car spots. read more

My wife and I went to this location to have a PCR Covid-19 test as we have an upcoming event to deal with where a PCR test is required. We have set-up an appointment on their website a week ago, lucky that we were able to get this appointment because their daily slots gets filled immediately. We got to the appointment on time, it's a drive-thru testing site, I did a self test while the staff guides me through the process, she was friendly and patient, was done in just a few minutes. I really commend CVS for being proactive in Covid-19 testing since the pandemic has started. Great service, great staff. read more

I have been using this pharmacy since it has opened. The customer service was always top notch. Robert the pharmacist is professional, knowledgeable, and kind... Always has been! As of late the customer service from a FEW of the staff members is atrocious. Not sure if it the general mentality of this generation is to be rude to their customers, but CVS needs to amp up their training for their younger staff. If this is the future of our future pharmacists, the community is in trouble. read more

Unnecessarily crowded alllll the time, it makes no sense. The cashiers seem pretty annoyed to be working there so sometimes you have to repeat yourself like 5 times to clarify basic questions about getting your receipt and other petty things. The store is also a little too cluttered with stuff during holiday seasons; it doesn't look good at all and just looks tacky and weird. read more

I went yesterday to see if my medicine for my baby was ready for from 2 days ago Surprise, there is nothing. They made me call the pediatrician to ask if he had sent it, he said yes. Now they tell me that they did receive the prescriptions and that they are out of stock and that they only had one of 4 medicines and that the insurance did not cover any of them when I had previously received the same prescriptions and the insurance covered them I told them you know I don't want anything I called my baby's pediatrician to change the pharmacy and which the pharmacy did. It didn't take even 10 minutes to call me to confirm that they had my prescriptions and they would be ready in an hour. I am very disappointed with cvs pharmacy read more

Very large CVS. You don't feel like your up against other shoppers in the store. This store does have self-service check outs which make check out faster since CVS has so few employees in the store. There is a large cooler/freezer section and the pharmacy seems very efficient. Red box is outside of this location. ATM and Money Gram also available in this store. Staples is right next door to this CVS. Subway and Starbucks are also in the same shopping area. Although the parking lot is large, it is sometimes difficult to find a spot with all of the popular locations of different stores in the same area. read more

Just picked up my stylish flawless glasses here at HALF the PRIC$E of any other optical business. such efficiency and a much better selection of frames that I've been searching for for years. This is my local CVS and I usually find what I'm looking for, to be in stock. With the exception of some cards for different occasions being limited, there is a nice variety for the ones the do have. The shelves are always neat and the pharmacy is good at filling prescriptions within a reasonable time frame. The staff is always present and helpful. The line wait is on average about 5 mins. I also like coming here to print out pictures at their Kodak station. They are always up and running. The location itself is cool, being in the same shopping center as a Staples, Starbucks and Subway and across from a Dollar tree. read more

This CVS is a nice quite, not very busy location. It seems like a lot of people come here for their photo lab, or it could just be every time I'm there the photo section is packed. The location has a Starbucks, staples, and and emergency med station (I forgot the name of it!). It has a huge parking lot so you can always do a quick run in. Man, I get so lost in this store. The aisles get me confused, but that's the only down side. They are well stocked and the employees have a decent attitude. Good sales as well. read more

This review is just on the pharmacy department. This is not the first time, there has been multiple issues here. Sometimes they are great, the majority of the time they are not. The simple act of making a phone call, who knew that was so difficult and so much to ask for. I get it, insurance companies are ALWAYS changing rules. But when a time sensitive medication is prescribed, make a phone call if there is an issue. You have a job, do your job. Issue #1 - my prescription was always on rapid refill....all of a sudden its not. So it was never refilled, with 2 refills remaining. Issue #2 - I called my refill in at 530 pm, was told it would take an hour, Fine I waited until the next morning....which is where issue #3 comes into play. Issue #3 - I go first thing in the morning to pick up my prescription, the girl says its not ready. I said how is that possible I called it in yesterday. She says it will take 10-15 to do. So I wait, she then comes back and says I need to go through mail order. A phone call couldn't have been made to say this?!?! Once again I have to state its a time sensitive medication taken monthly, what if it was life or death medication??? She hands me a piece of paper and says to call the number and just says sorry I wasn't working. Customer service couldn't be more worse then that. I will most likely be picking up my prescription for the last time here and taking my business elsewhere. It should be this hard to go to a pharmacy. read more

This is a great CVS, this store should be a benchmark for others. Pharmacy staff are excellent, the general cashiers / stock folks are too. Always very bright and clean and well stocked. Only thing keeping this from 5 stars is: if you are not going to the pharmacy, they often push everyone to use the self-checkout machines. This is obnoxious when you want to buy something behind the regular cashiers' counter like cigarettes, and doubly obnoxious when they push them on people with full shopping carts who have no idea how to use the machines. Probably 5 times this year alone I've had a 5-10 minute wait to check out with one item - the regular register is often closed because the cashier will have to attend to all the self-checkouts full of elderly ladies with cases of soda and stacks of coupons and items they're returning. read more

They really need to shut down the CVS the staff that they have in there are increasingly more and more dense very combative and argumentative with consumers when making purchase asking for coupons and returning items is as if the staff in there think that people are stealing which leads me to believe that maybe they are stealing. I no longer will buy anything in there I guess I just have to use the pharmacy until I'm able to find a different Pharmacy to go to. This is a rather large location, located on Jericho in Bellerose Terrace. It is always stocked and their workers are very friendly and go above and beyond. Amy, who is in charge of the photo center is sweet and always perky! The pharmacy staff is also great, the prescriptions are usually called in and ready by the time you get to CVS. You can even sign up for text messages for when your prescriptions are ready! read more

CVS is good for discounts and savings on store items and their workers are sometimes helpful but their self-checkout machines keep breaking down and asking you to please wait-assistance is on the way. Their pharmacy department needs definite improvement. They have once given me a prescription I didn't ask for not the one I did ask for) and had to wait another 20 minutes for the right prescription also they don't refill in a timely manner. This place is great. I think it's much better than other pharmacy chains such as Duane Reade and Rite Aid. They have a great selection of toothpaste brands, shampoo& conditioner brands. All of those type of stuff! The staff are always willing to help customers find items. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because of the self serve checkout. I thought the staff are supposed to do their job as a cashier. Instead they're letting a robot do their OWN job!! I still love this place and will definitely see me here multiple times:)) read more

The manager at this CVS has got to be one of the worst I've ever seen. I came in for a passport photo and she could not wait to get me out of there. She took my photo and did not even give me the chance to see it before she bolted to get it printed. When it came time to pay I felt like it was too expensive and I told her I didn't appreciate her rushing me and that I didn't want it anymore. To which she responded with a very arrogant and bad attitude that I didn't ask to see the photo and that I really didn't need to see it since it was just a passport photo. She didn't bother to ask me if I wanted to see it because she moved so quickly! I told her that she gave me bad service and that that is not how you treat customers which she responded with an incredibly fake sorry. I know what it's like to work in retail so I'm really the last to complain but this was just awful. I had bad experience with a cashier here recently. I went to buy some CVS brand vitamins which were advertised as buy one get one free. The one I wanted was the CVS brand but it didn't have a sign saying it was buy one get one, so I brought two to the cashier to check. The woman was extremely slow ringing up one customer and I patiently waited. Then when I asked her to check if my item was buy one get one she lectured me that I should have checked them on the price scanner. Not a suggestion, she was annoyed that I asked her to check. Very rude and I don't even know if a price checker would even show it was buy one get one. read more

My three stars is more for CVS in general than this location. CVS needs to pay it's employees to work. They've come up with this model where they pay an employee to point to a self-service machine and tell you to do the work. I don't work at CVS. I have my own job, thanks. Aside from that, if you need to go to CVS this is the one. It's clean, it's organized, there is always one cashier even if the other one is just pointing. The pharmacy is knowledgeable. I have started to go to my local pharmacy instead on Braddock Avenue which used to be Rocky Hill. They not only know my name, they are more than happy to offer good customer service instead of trying to make money by not having employees. The pharmacist there is super friendly as are the owners. Whenever I do have to choose a large pharmacy, I go to a Rite Aide whenever possible. People there are actually expected to work and give customer service. read more
