It was my first time receiving this vaccine and nothing was said about side effects -- just "you're all set" when we were done. Imagine someone who is nervous about needles, or a kid? But of course, this is not her fault -- it's CVS's fault who should have a dedicated person to give vaccines who is well trained at times when they are being offered. How can she be expected to ring up customers and give out vaccines at the same time? I'm sure she rushed through it as a result. The store has a good selection of your typical drug store items and has some that others don't like my preferred mouthwash and leave-in hair conditioner. They also have a section that processes film and prints photos. They did a so-so job; I realize that I probably should have gone to a photo store but it is nice that they offer that service. Negatives: Prescription prices at their pharmacy are more expensive than their competitors. In addition, they had previously screwed up one of my prescriptions, wouldn't listen re: their mistake, and I then had to call my doctor so that he could speak to the pharmacy. And they have done this more than once. I now no longer go here for prescriptions and generally go back to Walgreen's. In sum, good for shopping but not for the pharmacy.
