I've been using this CVS as my primary place for a year now. I have been very disappointed in two occasions: 1. Sunday 9/14/25. Listed in Google as open, posted hours at store say opens at 8 am and no one is here, received notification that my item was ready and no one is here. It's a weekend and it wastes EVERYONE'S time. Waiting 20 mins until 9 am hoping it will open an hour late and have seen 8 different vehicles come and go who planned to come to CVS. Who knows how many had come the previous 45 mins. 2. A pharmacy tech could not have been much more rude to a customer whose child was very ill. She called in a breathing inhaler and was told it was in stock when arriving. They only had another one available for a couple hundred $$ more. The tech was not compassionate at all and spoke rudely to the customer when she expressed concern and had taken the time to drive there bc it was listed as in stock. Zero stars. Worst customer service, rude and probably overworked pharmacy workers, impossible to speak to someone over the phone and the lines are always out the door. Drivethru takes at least 20 minutes. How horrible that we have to depend on these people for our health. Get it together CVS! read more

I wish I could give one star. They need more pharmacists. They do not have enough staff to efficiently take care of their patients. Put in a prescription at 7. It was one pill and wasn't ready at 3pm. Waited in line for 15 minutes with only one person in front of me. She waited ten minutes to be helped. read more

I have been dealing with CVS pharmacy all my life and never ever had an issue Until I transferred here! Extremely slowwwwwww everything is a problem to get your refills or anything at all!!! I went to the CVS Pharmacy on 230 Milltown Rd in Bridgewater NJ. My daughter had surgery the prior day and I went to get her pain medication. The pharmacist refused to fill out her prescription based on her personal opinion and beliefs, even though I had a prescription. Due to it being Thanksgiving, most pharmacies were closed or were closing early. After calling and driving for 3 hours, I was finally able to find a pharmacy which filled out the prescription. I will not let my daughter be in pain based on someone's convoluted opinions. If she cannot do her job, she should not work there. read more

I've switched from Walgreens to CVS a couple of years ago due to distance from home. Service was ok then but I noticed a noticeable decline in the last few months. First the driveway is broken and you have to be very careful when driving over not to damage your vehicle. Next when you pull up to the customer service, the window is filthy and there's a large pothole right where you have to stop to pickup your RX. The service is very slow and depending who is manning the window it is nearly impossible to understand them. This is due to them not prolific in English which when dealing with peoples meds is incomprehensible. If you visit there at night it is not very well lit and I do not allow my family to go there due to safety issues. Now I received several surveys to ask about their service and I reported all items above to a manager. To this day nothing has changed or improved. In fact it's getting worse if that's possible. I currently am looking to go back to Walgreens to improve my pharmacy experience. read more

The afternoon pharmacy workers at the Miltown road CVS are absolutely horrendous. I did not catch their names but it was 3 Indian women who were utterly useless and rude on top of it. There was an issue on their end with their computers and they coped an attitude with me and told me to leave all while not giving me my medication. They either need to learn how to do their job with an ounce of compassion or go into a new line of work. Do not go here go literally anywhere else besides this location, I heard they were supposed to shut down this CVS and they should have. read more

This CVS is terrible!! I am a local and have been going there to develop my disposable pictures for over a year. I dropped off my camera in October and they still don't have my pictures. After multiple calls with the store staff, managers, and CVS customer service representatives there has still been no solution. I think they lost my film completely so I asked them to at the least give me a credit to buy a new film camera given they lost my film with pictures I really wanted and a camera that I paid money for. They said they couldn't do that and when I asked what they are able to do to rectify the situation they had no answer. Absolutely ridiculous. I recommend going to Walgreens instead. Yesterday I went to CVS photo for printing my kids passport photo.The photo I got was cut off from bottom so that the size is obviously wrong and they were also blurred like an oil painting and the background was not white any more, instead, became dark and grey. The store manager there sucks. He was so impatient and he just wanted to say there was nothing wrong!! I told him the quality of the photo could not meet the requirement but he refused to do anything or helped me. He was doing his job without any responsibility for his customers. I request to refund my money because they cannot be used at all and he just throws those photos away in trash bin without and cover. I asked him if it is the proper way to discard customers photos and he said that trash bin is specific which I could not believe as there was even no cover on the top.!! I was so upset to see he throw my kids photos into that trash bin without any protection of our privacy!! I at the end paid for those useless photos just because I want protect my kids' right. But I feel shame of CVS and will never use their service any more. read more

The people working at the pharmacy counter are extremely slow and unhelpful. Recently we brought my mother in law there for a flu shot. After standing at the counter for 15 minutes with no one acknowledging us, my wife walked over to the other end of the pharmacy counter and asked an employee about getting a flu shot..the lady points and says with a crappy attitude, "flu shots are over there" no kidding lady really? Thanks for being so helpful..she had seen us standing there and could have cared less. Do yourself a favor and get your prescriptions filled at the Shop Rite..they are friendly and helpful, and don't act like they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. I would give this place zero stars if I could. There is no excuse for treating customers this way. read more

CVS isn't my favorite pharmacy. It seems like they are always busy non stop. I can't remember anytime I didn't have to wait for a refill or just to be helped at the counter. Maybe they are under staffed I'm not sure. I've never had anything bad happen or a mess up but I'm not impressed and I ended up leaving going to a smaller pharmacy that wasn't to busy 24/7. read more

Talk about GREAT customer service! If I could give AMY a 10 STAR I would. Walgreens messed up my scripts, Amy took the time, didn't get rude with me like WALGREENS did. Amy was nothing but kind, sweet, caring and most of all helpful. Thank you Amy for caring and finding out how to fix everything. You are one in a million! I have been using Walgreens forever and finally transferred my prescription to cvs. BIG MISTAKE. They transferred it wrong and gave me capsules when I needed tablets. I have never had capsules and my previous prescription that I transferred was tablets. They pharmacist was no help and hung up on me so we showed up. Should have driven the extra 5 minutes for a real pharmacist. read more

I switched from Walgreens to this pharmacy because it's closer to my new house, but they're awful. Every interaction has had some issue (insurance, incompetence, incomplete order, etc). I'm writing this now as I sit here waiting for them to run my insurance, after having received a text several hours ago asking me to send them a picture of my insurance. According to them, that service "never works". They're dismissive and one woman who works in the pharmacy shouldn't be allowed anywhere near medication. She can barely take down someone's name correctly, much less have the attention to detail pharmacy work requires. I'm done trying to make their service work, and I'm going back to Walgreens, even if I have to drive an extra 15 minutes out of my way. read more
