This location is in an area that should exhibit top level service and high quality products. Unfortunately, it does NOT! Not only is the staff unfriendly and unhelpful, the managers are very inefficient and surly. The shelves are often empty or filled with stale goods. The express check out machines are oftentimes not operable. There is NEVER more than one cashier to deal with long lines of customers. I wish Duane Reade or Walgreens had occupied this store instead because this is the worst CVS Store in Brooklyn. If you need anything don't come here. read more

At about 9:15 on a Friday morning, I went to this particular CVS to get some desperately needed Flonase. It was behind locked plastic. I asked the one employee who was working if he could unlock it, and he said only the manager has the keys and wouldn't be in for another couple hours. The employee was actually very friendly and apologetic, but I really don't understand how the manager thinks it's good business to not allow customers to purchase several potential products during business hours. read more

This is my go-to CVS for both the pharmacy and any last minute things we need in the apartment. Everyone that works here, both pharmacy and general store, is really helpful and will approach you to see if you need assistance finding an item or using the self check out. The sale items can run out quickly so don't count on them having the item you want in stock. They'll give you a rain check though. They also print photos here but don't have the traditional cvs photo area so you'll just need to ask at the register for your pictures if you order online. The pharmacists are great, especially if you come during off hours. Just got my flu shot here yesterday and it was a breeze! It does have really early closing hours so keep that in mind. Could be because as others have mentioned, things might get a bit sketchy outside their doors, but inside you'll be pleased with the organization and cleanliness of the store! read more

I got nothing but love for this CVS! So I was riding down in the bike lane the other night, in the darkness I saw something treacherous: a two by four with a nail on the end jutting right into the bike lane, I said to myself, be a good samaritan and get that squared away so I looped back and while wrangling the board the nail came down on my leg. Yes, a puncture wound was had in this fateful encounter. I called my provider Oscar to see about getting a tetanus shot. I was worried I would need to spend $150 at an urgent care or try to snag an appointment at their center which didn't look like it was likely to happen in the 48 hours or so I had before potential lockjaw set in, but Oscar told me I could just swing by a CVS and get the shot and they would cover it. I was a bit scared by all the horrible reviews of this place, but I walked in, maybe 20 minutes later walked out with a bandaid covering my fresh vaccine dose. Oscar footed the bill as well. Yes the CVS people did not give me a lollipop for being brave, but all in all 20 minutes is no sweat compared with dealing with doctors/ER/etc. Also, thanks Obama! read more

The pharmacy has nice people behind the counter. Sometimes they are fast, sometimes they are slow. But that is any type business. I wasn't going to write a review but today compelled me to do it. I have worked in clinics, urgent care, social services agencies and I NEVER had the mind to call out someone's medications out loud. I was unaware I had 3 medications ready for pickup I honestly thought it was 2. So I said oh wow there is 3 medications she (Her name with a T) goes yeah and call outs all 3 medications out loud. And if you are wondering if was only us two ... it wasnt. Some pharmacies have the line where people have to stand back while they are helping out the current customer not them. Other customers come up right behind you. If you want other people knowing your medications, stop on by to this pharmacy. They say your medications loud and proud. read more

Would give this store a negative -5 rating if could. If there is one thing consistent about this CVS store is the rude, negative attitude of its store employees. In particular one young male who complained that I was making him work more because he had to "jam" my debit card into a malfunctioning reader and hold it there while I entered my pin. So I get to spend my hard-earned $$ at a store where the staff gives ME grief for CVS often malfunctioning card readers and negative attitude e.g. my thanking him was met w/silence and storming away. This pharmacy is the WORST!!! The people behind the counter seem to be barely functioning humans!! It literally takes them about 10 minutes to get one word out and they constantly look totally stunned when you go to pick up a prescription like they can't possibly understand why you are asking them (THE PHARMACY) for medication!! The only possible explanation is that these are all people being held against their will and sleep deprived and so we need to send a rescue squad in STAT because based on the presentation of the pharmacy staff this is not in fact a CVS pharmacy but instead a prison where the captives have been traumatized they no longer even try to escape!! This place is HORRIBLE! Ive went to this CVS only one time...I used my card on the express checkout machine...and 2 days later...someone hacked into my account. The bank told me this person read my card with a card reader from the machine and they spent 1000 DOLLARS from my account. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE OR EVER GO HERE AGAIN. I HOPE THIS CVS BURNS DOWN. read more

Can't speak for any credit card sketchiness here but the pharmacy is on their game. The techs have gone out of their way twice for me now, tracking down my prescriptions and refills at out of town pharmacies, faxing my doctor, returning my calls. They couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. What a relief. read more

This CVS has improved so much. Customer service is really good. Once you step into the store, most of the time one of them will come up to you and ask what you are looking for. They will help you out at the checkout too if something isn't working. It is true that sometimes the items that are on sale is missing. But I guess you have to go fast to grab them. (or get a raincheck) That said, I am a big fan of their coupons. I got some good deals here. The store is spacious, generally clean, and the staffs are very helpful. read more

Don't waste your time coming here for a special item. Went in here today, to look for a lipstick I was looking for - over 2 weeks in Walgreens , rite aid and Duane reade. Went to the website and it said it was in stock at this location went to the location, and ask someone to help me find it since it was not inside of the slot where it should be. The manager came over and said he would help me instead he gave me a long story about a woman who works in the beauty section who is not here today, my thoughts are why is he telling me that he needs to know how to find things if that woman is not here. I left the store without my item and it took him a little while to scan the barcode and obviously tell me there were 11 of that item in stock but he still refuse to go and look for it downstairs. I call that crappy service. I ended up going to the cvs on avenue u near kings plaza and got my item - no hassle, cheaper price , bigger store , more variety. New York, superlative as always, has managed to produce the worst pharmacy of all time. Routinely loses prescriptions. When they get backlogged, they pile them in a heap in the back.
