Update: DON'T SHOP AT CVS!! THEY DONT PROTECT THEIR CUSTOMERS BEST INTEREST. I provided all the information that CVS corporate asked me to provide on my stolen gift card funds. They closed the case. Never called me like they said. I called 6 different times to get the status of my stolen gift card funds. So for the status they told me they can't do anything for me. Basically the thieves have won. Why did they even bother asking me to get the information if they weren't going to help me anyway. I was so upset. I asked nicely to speak to a manager and no manager would give me the curtesy of hearing me out. They don't do that they said. Then they proceeded to tell me that the store the gift card was for, is the liable one. I need to contact them for the money. Well I work for that store and I know CVS pays for those gift cards ahead of time to place them in their store and not to mention CVS has the gift cards out in the open for everyone to tamper with. So why is the other store liable!?!? CVS won't take accountability for my stolen funds even with all the proof I had!!! So someone took my birthday gift and bought themselves a nice designer handbag. There are two pharmacists at this place, a girl and an Asian dude. Try to see the girl because she knows what she's doing and she cares about her job. The Asian dude is incompetent and doesn't care about his job. He doesn't pay attention to anything the people say when they approach him, he is on auto pilot 100% of the time and does not give a toot about anything he does. His lack of attention to his job and detail has caused wrong prescriptions for me multiple times and frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if this clown has caused injury . Was extremely ill with influenza B, fever of 102 and rising and having trouble breathing. My doctor called in medicine for me with orders to start them immediately as he was concerned I would need to be admitted to the hospital if not. I arrived to the pharmacy, barely able to stand. My medications were not ready. I expressed my need for them asap. Since they were closing soon, they suggested I call a 24 hour pharmacy to transfer the rx because they couldn't have the order completed in time. I immediately picked up my phone to call another pharmacy but they closed their windows and shut down knowing I was standing there trying to get the rx transferred. The pharmacy needs to be open in order for another pharmacy to transfer the rx. I was unable to get my medicine!! I have never experienced such a lack of care and disregard for a sick patient from a pharmacist or medical professional in my life!!! I cannot believe the way I was treated. Came today around 12:30 after leaving West Hills hospital ER for three hours. I had three prescriptions to fill and they had it ready in about 15 mins. Fast, service on a weekend, when your not feeling well is highly appreciated. They have nice wide isles here too. Plenty of everything you need. I have been getting my prescription here for years. The staff is always great and quick. Yes, its pretty obvious that the cvs isn't in the best part of town but the pharmacists here are great!!! Becky, jenny, are awesome! And Ana and a gentlemen that also works there. I can get my prescription the same day I submit it. This CVS is one weird and strange place. I don't think I have ever walked out of here shocked! All of their stuff is taped up with security tape. Who wants to steal a box of cookies or a soda? The store manager isn't friendly at all. Every time I have been here she asks for my membership card. (Not, a problem! I want to save money) Last time I came here she asked me for my email address, I was in a rush and didn't have time sit there and give it to her. Tell me why she put in a fake email address on my card..? I asked her why she did that.. She said it was store policy...? Okay, but that's not my email address ladyyy! Anyhow, you can find here food, cosmetics, medicine, alcohol and even dog food. If your in a rush to hit up target, I guess you can stop by. The location is pretty iffy at times. Sub Par Pharmacy This was my first visit here. When my turn came up in line a lady with short blonde hair told the man behind me to cut in front of me! What Gall! Then she sent me to Trinny who hadn't entered my prescription which she received 3 days earlier because she "didn't know who I was" Then she told me they didn't have the medicine in stock so I pointed at it and told her I was looking right at it! She reconsidered and told me to wait 15 mins even though she didn't have to count or divide since it comes in two boxes. After taking the entirely of the 15 minutes to move the boxes 10 ft. from the shelf to the counter I finally got them. Infuriating!!! These people are sick with power. I want to thank Gabby the manager for helping me resolve a problem i had at the other CVS. I told her how they did not accept my rewards card, phone number or account towards my purchase and she went ahead and refunded me my money and then charged me correctly for the things i originally bought at the other store. Roxy was very sweet and was clearly working very hard to help people as fast as possible. She is the only reason I gave this place any stars. Other than that this place is way too big for the amount of items they sell, the shelves are messy and understocked, and not everything has a price label. It reminded me of one of those privately-owned dollar stores. Not one CVS before this has ever caught my attention because of how bad it looked. This has always been my least favorite location, but this time it was particularly bad. One of the items I bought turned out to be a nasty knock-off version of another brand I thought I was buying- something you would expect from a dollar store. I don't recall seeing a price tag which may have tipped me off before I made the purchase. This has never happened to me at Rite Aid, so I will continue to go there. read more

Old store, definitely in need of a remodel, not many customers in there usually. Most items are overpriced, as they are at almost all the drugstore chains - everybody buys stuff online nowadays. The pharmacy is probably what keeps the store open, although now that Target and CVS have merged, I don't know what will happen with CVS's regular stores? I've never bought much from there over the years. The couple items that I did buy, they stopped carrying. The shopping center that this store is in is a real eyesore, they not only need to remodel the CVS but the other stores as well. read more

I have been using this location for over a year now hoping that the customer service would improve but I consistently have a crappy experience. It always seems like they're understaffed, most of the pharmacy employees seem like they'd rather be anywhere else than there, and the waiting area is disgusting so you can't have a seat while you wait. During my last visit I was helped by someone new and it was one of the more pleasant experiences I'd had at this location. I was almost looking forward to picking up my prescription but I was disappointed yet again. Today was the last straw...I was told my additional prescription would take a few minutes to fill my and it ended up taking 45 mins. I avoid when I can. They could do a better job of stocking. No one wants stale snacks. The freezer for ice cream was out for weeks. Just because it's not in the best area doesn't mean we should have to deal with poor quality products and services. The cashier that I always encounter makes the rating go down. I wish I knew her name but of course there's no visible badge. She's so rude! While I , and a few other customers, waited in line she went off to the side of the store doing God knows what for at least two minutes. Then she comes back and barely says a thing. This pharmacy brings a whole new category to customer service. It's sub human it's so bad. They don't even care that they provide awful service. I move to Simi about a year ago and sadly moved back. I was hoping they had improved in this year. That would be a big fat NO all the way around. I come in only for emergencies. I REFUSE to have a prescription actually filled at this pharmacy. So where do I begin? I am a fan of CVS, and for the most part I've always gotten great service at their locations. Same here, the service has been good, just the location and the store itself have pretty bad vibes. Longtime residents of this area, will recall that this was a Clarks drugs way back when...and it wasn't known for being the cleanest nor the best stocked. Nor safe for that matter, walking to ones car could/can be an adventure at times. And yep, there were some doozy moments to boot, seeing an armed security guard walking around the store. Seeing a girl with a bloodied face, nose, and swollen eye walk nonchalantly into the store. Oh and they had a rear entrance which made beer runs so much easier back then. Flash forward to 2017, yeah this place hasn't really changed much, definitely cleanliness isn't a priority here. And the shelves always look like they were picked clean. Where is the new replenishment merchandise at? And definitely check your expiration dates here as well. They even put signs in the cold cases advising customers to do just that! But I've seen those signs at their other locations. So, that ought to tell you plenty. I do have good memories from here, as I do remember my mom buying me plenty of Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars from the old Clarks days. Didn't like the Milk of Magnesia or the Vicks cold goop, which wasn't for colds, but warding off Vampires. Whereas, my dads' memories were more succinct, he likened it to the old Greyhound bus station in downtown LA, the difference being the winos were passed out inside. This store needs improvement if I could comment "same!" On every bad comment about the pharmacy I would. I came in after I went to Walgreens and they tried to make me pay $50 when I had insurance. I was hoping this store would be a better option but it took me about 30min to drop of a prescription because the lady was talking to the customer about something that was not related to medication, she saw me frustrated and said she would be with me soon. She then said I needed to call and give my insurance information so they could see if it covered my medication. When I called the pharmacist was very rude she didn't pay attention to what I was saying and said I would have to come in and deal with the matter personally because she had to many people to help and couldn't help me on the phone. What a joke! I told her I'd hold and she said she'd just call back and I gave her my new number and she never wrote it down! The overall store........eh. But my review is for the pharmacy. Anna is the BEST pharmacist I have ever known. She really cares about me as a person and my husband & takes time for us to get our prescriptions filled. Jenny is also so very sweet and kind and takes time to make sure our insurance covers our prescriptions. The sad part is that they are understaffed and always really busy. But for their working conditions I give them a 10 in my recommend!! read more
