Typical CVS around the South Bay area, with well stocked (but locked) shelves. My wife loves her CVS coupons, and we were able to use them successfully here. The associates here were prompt and we were able to self-check out pretty quickly. Can't really ask for more than that when not using the pharmacy. read more

I was helped at the register by Rosa, while in line she kept looking in my direction which made me feel a little uncomfortable. i simply smiled and looked away, when it was my turn to pay she scanned my 3 items and after each item she full on plops it/dropped it on the counter. HELLO??? customer service??? i didn't say anything, i put my card away after paying and she proceeded to push my stuff to the edge. She was one staring at me weird and two dropping my items in my face, she was very rude CVS really needs someone better read more

The website and all signs posted says the pharmacy is open until 8p and they took two people in the drive thru that were in front of me and then as soon as I pulled up they slammed the drawer shut and said that the drive thru was closed and I'd have to go inside. This was at 7:38p. Rude read more

This CVS has been holding its own for many years now. It's been like "The Little Engine That Could" cousin of the other pharmacies around with nice placing by an intersection. It has a freakin drive thru pharmacy too right next to a Wendy's!!!!! So cool!!! I noticed that people who failed to steal stuff from the Albertsons either try to steal here and/or they try to hide at this CVS, but end up getting caught inside here or at the parking lot. It's pretty damn funny too because they think they're slick. Sorry, don't ruin a good CVS for our community just because you want more than stimulus checks and food stamps. To me, this is a fairly sized grab and go-like CVS. I wish they had better stock and prices on certain things, but it's ok. Supply and demand is totally understandable in an overly-populated every year Carson. Parking isn't bad since they share a strip mall with Wendy's. Customer service isn't bad either. Many of the workers take their time to simply acknowledge and say "Hello! Welcome to CVS" to customers who enter; so that's pretty damn welcoming and cool to me. My only request is for them to get more varieties of energy drinks if possible! Other than that; I have no reason not to give them 5 stars. read more

I really wish they didn't make those who want to do COVID testing wait in the drive thru for results!! Needed two things: a 12A batter and Visine eye drops (as my allergies kicked it up a notch and pulled some serious redness!) It was easy to maneuver the entire store. I found both non-related items in less than 2 minutes. And checking out was a breeze. Cashier was sweet enough to ask how my day was which made a semi-miserable day better. Not my usual go-to CVS but would return if the need comes up and I happen to be in the area. read more

My complaint isn't with the customer service but rather with the parking lot. Please please please clean up the parking lot! It smells and looks like And if you don't want to water the plants (or at this point weeds) at least replace them with rocks or something else. read more

Had a very bad experienced at the pharmacy yesterday 4/30/2023. Katerin at the pharmacy drive thru was very unprofessional and rude. I asked her to seperate the transaction between my daughter medications and mine., she threw the bag at the counter filled with medications. When I asked what her problem was? She yelled to another colleague to come and walked away. waited 5 mins before someone came to help. All i can say that if you're having a bad day or don't like youre job then you should quit!!! dont take it out on customers. need to be more patient esp when ur dealing with people who are not well/sick. read more

September 22, 2020 Approximately 2:00pm. Visited this store for flu shot only because the CVS store at Sepulveda and Normandie did not have the correct Flu Shot for my age group. The one male pharmacist rather short in height took a very long time to process my request despite my Anthem ID and Medicaid card. Also he attempted use derogatory remarks prior to giving me the Flu Shot. Secondly, the female Pharmacist yelled at me when I attempted to use their blood pressure machine that turned out to be non operative. Also, this store's interior looked unkept and dirty. I appears as as though this location has lost its will to live. First they say they are out of stock, days later that it was picked up by me when I didn't as if I wouldn't know. Now my insurance won't authorize another refill for 90 days. They will randomly switch my refills from 90 to 30 days which not only triples my co-pays, but uses up my number of refills three times faster. They will without explanation refuse to fill and cancel prescriptions they had been filling for years. This location has been going downhill for a while, but now they've reached the point where I can no longer trust them with my health needs. Needless to say, all my prescriptions have been transferred out to another pharmacy That's not CVS. read more

This is a good drug store. It meets the CVS standard, which to me means, clean and neat and well stocked. There aren't a lot of staff walking around the store, but that's fine with me. I can always find someone when I need to. It's not a big store so getting help isn't really an issue. The prices are moderate but they usually have specials throughout the store. read more

Their website says they have items then the don't have it. I've wasted an hour of my life chasing down a particular item at CVS.

Went to CVS to get a COVID-19 test for our trip to Hawaii, said we would get it in three days still haven't received it and now they don't want to give us a refund . said they don't guarantee it but said we should get it within 72 hours it's been 72 hours as of 10 AM and still no results. Hawaii will not let you go for vacation there unless you go through CVS, Kaiser and they don't help you at all. do you need to take the test within 72 hours of your flight. Don't go to CVS read more

Terrible service. I was in line for a medicine when i was told that my medicine wasnt ready despite the fact ive had numerous calls saying it was ready. Today i wasnt busy when i got the call and i went, it wasnt old news. They told me it would be ready in 15 minutes whatever. I was called and told i had to wait in line. I DO NOT recommend this place. My suggestion is go to another pharmacy. read more

Being a filipina myself, I was very disappointed in the racism I received by one of the workers there who was also filipina. She was extremely rude and refused to explain something to me regarding my cvs card. She also lied about a coupon that apparently I didn't have but when I showed her she still denied so I asked her to show me their screen and I saw my account and boom. Then another woman, who was Latina with curly hair almost fooled me into "saving $10 by using my debit card today" only until I said wait what's this promo? She said "you'll save money tonight by using your debit card just swipe it now" She was super weird about it and so aggressive so I said can someone explain to me what this is? And another employee said "what? $10 save is only if you buy a care pass membership" which the woman NEVER told me. How are cvs workers trying to finesse customers. Yeah, here is one of a handful of one stars I give out. Living walking distance from this store, I use it for the Pharmacy, Photo Dept, Special occasion cards and that last minute vacation toiletry I need. Went to pick up a photo, and waited at the photo dept which is next to the front counter. Made eye contact with the employee, so he knows I'm waiting. After he took care of the people that were ahead of me, he proceeded to help the people that just came up to the line for the front counter. Hold on, I've been patiently waiting for my turn, and your going to pass me up? He said his help had gone on break, and he was the only one. SO, I'm next! You just pull the photo and ring me up at the register. Sorry he said, but I'm all alone, you'll just have to wait. After the loud verbal exchanges, I walked out. As soon as I got home, I wrote to CVS to complain. Now I will now transfer my Prescriptions to another Pharmacy or On-line, get my photos at Costco, and get those B-day cards and last minute vacation items at Target. Hows that CVS!!! There has been incidents at the Pharmacy, but this was the last straw. (Deep breath) okay I'm good now. read more

Horrible service. Not a reliable Covid testing site. Staff makes errors inputting data. My dad had an international travel on a tuesday so he needed to be tested 72hours prior to departure. Saturday got swabbed, sunday evening we got the link to create mychart then while filling up the details needed it prompt to an invalid response. Monday morning called CVS for inquiry due to inability to access the result. The operator said the Date of birth was not matching. How could that be? Isnt it that before the swab, details are verified before conducting it? So in the first place if the details were off no covid swabbing would have been done if it wasnt matching with the identification provided. Well they conducted the swab, so who's fault was it that made an error on inputting details?! They did not want to take responsibility for the fault and stress that was done. For the rebooking fee for the flight almost $1000 which we cant reimburse since they dont want to issue a statement of their poor service and placing incorrect details which delayed the result. These incompetent employees at this branch shouldnt be commended on ther job performances. Great work for stressing customers who thought that this establishment is one of the trusted ones when it comes to this matter. If a covid test is needed. Please think twice or thrice before coming here read more

This CVS store is located on the corner of Sepulveda and Main St. This is a small store, which is great when you are in a hurry and need to get in and out quickly. They have a drive through pharmacy too. So you can pick up meds in your pj's or whatever you like to sport to be comfortable and not want the public to see you in. The manager and workers are cool and helpful. And there's a section where you can get a box of Captain Crunch cereal, cookies, crackers, a jar of fruit or etc for only a dollar ;) There's a Wendy's next door too. read more

This is my favorite CVS! I like this one over all the other ones because the people that work there are always so friendly and cheerful. It nice to walk into a store with people who have so much positive attitude. I come here so often that the employee's even remember me. The prices are not always the best and sometimes I come here for one thing and come out with a lot more than I need. I also sometimes go in there and spend nothing because it have a lot of coupons, sometimes else I like they take multiple coupons for one item. There is only one employee that kind of has a bad attitude her name is Martha so just watch out for her and you'll be fine. read more

I just rushed out to of my parents house because my son's fever got really high and I came to cv's pharmacy and I was attended right away with help! Really good service and the atmosphere is calm! Some down sides are that their prices are not always reasonable but when they do have deals it is totally worth it! If you really want good service and attention I strongly recommend this place because their workers are really attentive to their costumer's! read more

If there was a 10 star this location would get it! The staff here are all so friendly and always stay busy. I've previously written a review on here but somehow it's disappeared? Michael, Ibrahim, Jonathan, Tezsa and all the drs on staff are all so helpful and patient! Love that there is a drive thru. It's hard with my daughter taking her in and out of my car then waiting. Much easier letting her watch elmo in the car as we wait. A new location opened closer to my house but I will continue coming to this CVS! Keep up the great job guys! read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - CARSON, California

This is an okay CVS drugstore. I can find most of the items I am shopping for. Yes the pharmacy always has long line and it is understaffed...trying to service customers in store, at the drive through and on the phone you need more than 2 or 3 staff. I used to fill my prescriptions in store but would have to wait and wait for someone to help me. Now I fill them online with a different company. My improvement wish list for CVS: 1- Add the mailer coupon to our CVS member card...this would be more convenient for customers who forget their coupon at home or shop on their lunch break. 2- Add a 2nd checker during peak times...11:30 AM-2:00 PM and between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. 3- Add self check registers for customers who do not want to wait in line for our fellow customers to talk about the grand kids, ask about the price, blah, blah, blah. I prefer this location than the one on Carson & Main St, the parking lot is awkward and there is usually a homeless person begging for money in front of the store. If I am in Torrance I shop at the CVS on Maple & Sepulveda. It is so much cleaner, no long lines and friendly cashiers. To be fair to CVS, the reason there are always long lines, there are only 2 true drug stores serving a city of 90,000 or more, including people who work in the city of Carson. CVS if anyone from your company reads this, please try to find a location to open an additional store in North Carson near CSUDH or near the Carson Mall. read more

This is for the pharmacy staff only as i mostly only go there to get my prescriptions and my husbands! Let me start by saying Katherine is wonderful! She goes above and beyond for customers!! Ivy too! I prefer to go when one of them is working no offense to the other pharmacist but i think because I've built a customer relationship with them i just feel more comfortable going when they are working! All the techs are helpful too! Ozzy, Michael, and Ashley always ask how I'm doing they know me by name( probably because I'm always there ‍) please don't ever change my pharmacist or techs on me otherwise i will go crazy ! But seriously best customer service ever by them! For anyone that says otherwise perhaps they're the problem and it's not the staff. read more

I would like to share that the manager of CVS called me to discuss my problem and we met and she helped me. I was surprised because she really cares about the customer. I apologized to her two times because I was out of line. She told me that I did not have to apologize. I also am making a public apology to her and the CVS Pharmacy staff. I hope that in the future that we can come to a workable solution like we did this time. I look forward to going back and becoming a CVS customer again.
