Came in to fill a prescription for my husband who had just gotten stiches on his head so I needed antibiotics. The line was ridiculous and only two employees were available. I was told I would have to wait 2 hours so I came back 2 1/2 hours later. I stood in the long line again only to be told the medication was not ready yet. I waited an additional 15 mins. I have filled new prescriptions at different pharmacies and have NEVER waited close to 3 hours. Will not be coming back to this particular pharmacy again. read more

heads up!!!! they trick you into something called carepass, be awear there will be a monthly fee that i never agreed to. the girl said i would get a store discount if i used my debit card so when i did she put me in that carepass program and it was very difficult to cancel it. the girl who helped me was a young girl named rosa. just ask questions before useing your debit card, i won't even give my phone number at stores anymore because all the stores just wanna track you!!! read more

Ivy Vo is very disrespectful. Her mannerisms are not of someone who is willing to help a paying customer but has that of a power stricken spiteful person with a lab coat. She demands respects without giving any at all. She found more then one reason to hassle me in a time of need that did nothing but waste my time while she claimed to have so much work that needed to be done. Because of her I will no longer give this location any business & if you come here make sure not to work with her if you need your prescription filled quickly & efficiently. read more

I had an issue at this CVS store years ago and decided that I would shop here. One day I came into this store to purchase medication for my mom. The cashier that helped me asked if I would like to donate $1 to a children's charity. It was only a dollar and going to a good cause so I agreed. But during the transaction she was acting like she was having a hard time ringing up my item. So as this was going on I was talking to my friend that I had brought along with me on an errand for my mom. So finally when the cashier finished ringing my item up she gave me my total and I gave her the money. As my friend and I entered my car and I glance at the receipt I noticed something wrong. I saw the medication that she had rung up and then I also saw a charge for a payday candy bar. My friend and I walked back inside to confront the manager about the unauthorized charge for the second item. As I was walking inside the store the cashier that had just rung me up saw me and quickly avoided eye contact with me. My friend and I exchanged glances at each other and already knew. So when I spoke to the manager and told him what had happened he acted like it was a mistake and that she wouldn't do something like this. No matter how many times my friend and I both logically explained the situation to him, he still continued to deny it. It's already obvious what had happened and he just didn't want to acknowledge it. For all we know the trashy cunt is probably sucking him dry. So now fast forward to the present when I needed to fill a prescription from the pharmacy specifically for Robitussin. Considering what had happened to me before at this store, I thought that it would be fine to go to the pharmacy. Oh boy was I wrong I had the misfortune of having to deal with the dingbat Ivy Vo and Oliver.When I first dealt with Oliver and asked him for a particular medication within the list of meds that I have been prescribed he told me that I don't have any medications at all. So I asked him to confirm that I don't have any meds whatsoever that has ever been prescribed to me. I still continued to ask him because this is very hard to believe given the years of going to doctors, being prescribed medications, filling it and picking it up. He still stood his ground telling me that I have never had any medications prescribed to me at all. I still continued to grill him and he just passed me to Ivy because he couldn't make me leave like he wanted. What did he expect I'm pregnancy and sick of course I'm not going to just leave that easily. So now here I'm dealing with someone that is even slower than Oliver because now Ivy is "helping" me. All I asked her was about a prescription that I wanted to fill from my doctor. I told her what the medication was which was Robitussin and that I wanted to know what the dosage was on the list of medications. Instead what she did was get an attitude and started to mommy shame me and dispense her fucking advise that nobody asked her for. I told her that I didn't ask her then she started to yell back and tell me that she is the doctor of the pharmacy. At one point she walked away as she was talking smack and then came back to confront me again to talk even more shit. I told her that she is NOT my doctor and secondly she is NOT even a doctor just because she wears a white coat. Lastly Robitussin is an approved medication that is safe to take during pregnancy. This dumb broad needs to be retrained when it comes to medications and in addition to that she needs some proper home training while she's at it. As confrontational as she was I'm pretty sure that if it were not for the countertop dividing us she would have been in my face and I would have had to put my foot in her ass. It wouldn't surprise me if she got her stupid ass kicked one day outside of the store. read more

For the most part this is a great cvs pharmacy. I love the drive thru option and the service inside is usually very quick. I noticied they started redoing theyre shelves and stock. I hope this improves the overall selection as this store tends to have less then other cvs' nearby. read more

This is the worst group of pharmacists ever! Rude, (especially the head pharmacist) She wouldnt give me my prescription because my doctor prescribed me another pain killer the week before. Had to have my Dr. Call her and then make a 2nd trip to finally pick up my Meds. She did the same exact thing last week where i had to go there twice yet again to get my prescription filled! I have Cancer and getting in and out of my car and standing in that half an hour line at this CVS just to be denied my own Doctors prescriptions from them is not only ridiculous but insensitive. This is the last time i will ever give any CVS my business. read more

I'm not sure why I still continue to stop by the CVS,I have never been in there and not waited in a line 15 deep. This last time,the poor clerk was calling for back up and no one came to help, I walked to the back opened the receiving doors and ask the 3 men that were back is there anyone else on this store that can help check us out. this applies to store #5012 on main st, and Sepulveda, in Carson California, pharmacy department, as someone born and raised in the harbor city area,i have had the misfortune of dealing with these clowns on a regular basis, caring for my elderly parent, and her need for meds. locally. if you want to be harassed endlessly by unprofessional liars,including the pharmacy manager,who allows any unskilled workers, to call, and upset, your elderly deaf parent,some 20 times in a month over 8 prescriptions, that are automatic refills every 90 days, then takes you on, and off, their automated calling systems, (which I've opted out of time and time again), just begging them to follow your wishes regarding how we want them, to be contacting us, saying it's corporates fault, they then put you back on the hellish constant automated system, it's everyone else's fault but theirs. the truth be told the pharmacy manager needs to be fired, because she cant control her computer system, her employees, or their automated notification system, then why is she continued to be called a manager? epic failure! IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO, I WOULD! read more

This review is for the Pharmacy staff, Ive been coming here for years always had a pleasant experience. Just about 3 weeks ago I was getting ready to go through surgery and had quite a few prescriotions to pick up it all came uo to about $400 I was in complete shock, I asked the pharmacist on duty why it was so expensive and all she could tell me is thats your yearly deductible, I need the meds so I paid. After surgery I came back for more prescriptions and My Fav Pharmacist Veronica Rodriguez was at the window, I asked her hey Hun do you know why all of a sudden my prescriptions have been so much she right away said let me look into it. She did and of coarse she found the issue, didnt hesitate and always with a smile fixed it and actually gave me quite a nice refund. CVS needs to take care of her as she was helping me, she was still handling other customers and ALWAYS with great customer service. Im beyond imoressed with this young lady. read more

Disgusting service! My dad was prescribed Promethazine w/Codeine for cough 5ml every 4-6hrs as needed with a month supply specified on the script. I guess they were thinking it's too much supply...they called the Dr apparently and on the original script someone from the pharmacy crossed the QS 1 month and dispensed 60ml no refill or anything not even thinking or knowing what kind of pt this med is for. They expect a 77yo man with stage 4 lung cancer to drive and pick up a cough med every 2days??? I called them today to follow up if they've called MD and the pharmacist said the Dr's office is already closed. It was quick and easy for them to get in touch with the MD when they wanted to modify the prescription to the way they wanted it, but a different story when the prescription has to be modified for the comfort of the patient. Finally, I myself spoke to my dad's MD and straighten the problem, no effort at all from the pharmacist. read more
