I have had so many issue with Walgreens in the last few months that I wish it was easier to change…read morea prescription to a new pharmacy than it actually is. I switched from CVS to Walgreens a few years ago because the cost of my medication was cheaper. For quite awhile I had no issues. I even went to Walgreens for my Covid 19 shots and boosters as well as my yearly flu shots. My love affair with Walgreens ended a few months ago when suddenly my medication was not available for refill because it was back ordered. This may not be the pharmacy's fault but they just didn't seem to care! I'd spent literally 45 minutes to an hour on hold waiting to talk to someone and then get the run around. At one point the prescription was sent to a different Walgreens (by my doctor, Walgreens would not do this for me) that had the pills in stock. After driving out of my way to this location and waiting 30 minutes I was told the pills were actually expired and they couldn't fill it! I tried to reach out to someone about all this poor service by posting on Twitter and was sent a DM immediately asking for my contact information. I supplied it and was told I'd get a call in 2-3 days. Well folks, that was 3 months ago and no one has called. I've reached back out to the Twitter account and they apologize and say someone will call, but they don't. Long story short, when I can find a pharmacy with a competitive price I will be leaning Walgreens and not looking back. I'm not sure if any of them are better, I mean I left CVS for a reason, but I'm ready to try someone new. Fun fact: when you are on hold with Walgreens their automated system plays you 18 seconds of hold music and then gives you a 8 second voice recording explaining how important your call is to them. The system the REPEATS the SAME 16 seconds of hold music followed by the same 8 second voice recording. Try dealing with that for 45 minutes waiting to talk to the pharmacist, I dare you!! I wanted to puncture my ear drums!!'

The employee greeted me and was very kind, I was the only person in there so I was in and out plus it was very early. The store was very clean and stocked very well. I also saw a lot of items that were natural plant based which is perfect as my job is strict with food due to severe allergies. My only issue was online it said they open at 7am but the sign on the door said 8am so I was very hesitant to even approach the door as it was 7:10a and it was very dark inside, but I assume since the doors slid open the store was open, but maybe fixing the sign at the front it literally says pretty much everyday opens at 8am when they're indeed open at 7. That's my only complaint. The parking lot is huge and you can easily access it.

My husband said he understood, there were customers waiting, so he got in line again to return and repurchase the items. The clerk refused saying the items could not be returned even though it said the opposite on the receipt. My now angry husband asked his name. The young man said "I'm not telling you my name". My husband said "I won't be spending my money here anymore". "That's okay" was the clerk's snarky response. We now spend our money at another local pharmacy that is not part of a chain. Joke's on you- they do not work. It's just patron after patron stuck trying to figure out this unnecessarily complicated interface while the person behind the counter who normally would just verbally take your order and hand you your meds, stands there helplessly 2 feet away trying to help you through this new nightmare experience you are both in. I can only assume the head of CVS's IT department is in some elaborate fight to sabotage the head of Pharmacy and the rest of us are just collateral damage. For a company closing a ton of stores to "optimize their retail footprint", this is not the answer. I have thus far tried twice to pick up my prescription and been thwarted both times by a short line that does not move because no one can figure out this dumb kiosk. And I don't think the pharmacists can bypass it? Whose idea was this?! Did no one test this thing before unleashing it on the masses? Feels like something designed by someone who has never been to a pharmacy before. Unfortunate. I now need to find a pharmacy without this horrible feature. Wish me luck...

After going back and forth and waiting for about a half an hour to get my prescriptions, I was told my insurance is expired... which is false. Online my information states discounted pricing WITH exactly how much insurance saved me. Yet when I was there she claimed to me over and over that my information is incorrect and it's my fault my insurance expired. I was met with comments like "well at least I have insurance and pay for mine" "if you want any discounts you're going to have to come inside and talk to someone else" among others. She told me she would remove any discounts on my account just because I started to become upset and frustrated. I believe I was warranted to be upset considering all of the information I gave her was correct and my insurance has not expired yet. Shame on you Michelle. You shouldn't be working in any type of health care or customer service.

Yes they are a bit expensive but I like the idea of the medpack. Makes taking my meds so easy. However, I would NOT recommend them for emergency meds. I recently had to chase my antibiotic prescription for 2 days only to find out it had never left the building. I was told that it takes 24 to 48 hours for new prescriptions. Not acceptable when you are sick.
