ZERO STARS Kyrene & Chandler Blvd has the worst pharm tech! Dr sent in an rx that was not covered by insurance. I called CVS to let them know I had a manufacturer coupon code I was told by Evan the pharmacy tech he could not take that code. He had to order the medication first that is incorrect. You do not need to order the med to get a price. He refused to take my manufacturer coupon code and then placed me on a punishment hold for one hour and three minutes yesterday, January 17 at about 3 PM. never came back to the phone to check. I called the front end of the store to have someone walk back there and find out what the problem was. Evan proceeded to tell me he was busy because there were cars in the drive-through and people in the store I let him know this was his job, and I am a customer waiting on the phone for my turn in line, disrespectful, rude and ignorant. I will never go there again and will file a formal complaint with CVS corporate and my Blue Cross insurance to let them know about how the companies their contracted with do business. read more

Wow this CVS has had a rough time it seems with the clinic reviews, but not me and the pharmacy... I've had nothing but great experiences here. They accept my GoodRx coupons every time with no problems and are super nice. Been coming here for a long time. Now drive through windows at ANY pharmacy are less then awesome- I think we can all agree there's room for improvement there but if we receive good customer service and smile on faces then hey it's a win right? I have a hard time believing an employee was actually this rude off the cuff. My girlfriend and I went to an appt at the MinuteClinic, where another customer told us nobody had showed up for work there and he and multiple others had waited for hours before being told no one was staffing the clinic. While I was talking to this other customer and getting ready to leave, a CVS employee approached us and reiterated nobody was on staff at the clinic. Where this took a turn was when the other customer genuinely politely asked if a sign could be put up so others aren't burning their time. This EMPLOYEE responded with an exasperated sigh, and proclaimed "I have other things to do" before stomping off back to the front. This is genuinely alarming behavior I'd expect from my twelve year old sister, and from one supervisor to another I hope it gets looked into. The employee in question was a heavier set, lighter skinned woman likely in her twenties, I did not care to get her name. read more

This location is in dire need of much better upkeep. It is filthy, ghetto, & nasty! I came here for a TB Test at the Minute Clinic and first thing I saw was a dirty hypodermic needle on the sidewalk outside the store! That was an instant turnoff, as was how filthy the inside of the store is. The computer system for the Minute Clinic sucks as well. I booked my appointments through the kiosk and the system booted me out three times, even for the nurse. I felt bad for her, having to work on such horrible conditions. Needless to say I won't come back here again & don't recommend anyone to visit there either. read more

I am sometimes baffled by my frequency of shopping at this CVS store. It must be because they have tapped into my subconscious by use of their sales gimmicks and the deals they offer with the complementary CVS Extra Care card. The thing that keeps me coming back is the coupons that print out on my receipt... $3 off my next purchase of $15, or $4 off my next purchase of $20. And usually all of the items I buy are on sale or part of some buy one, get one 50% off deal. I am powerless to resist the siren song of BOGO. For I am a bargain-hunting whore and CVS, my pimp. Before I walk in the door, I make sure I have my coupon tucked discreetly into my pink lamé rocket bra, I kick open the door with with my black stillettos, fling my feather boa around my neck and pile-drive any senior citizen on their Hovaround who dares block my path. (Ahem... figuratively speaking, that is.) I actually bought furniture here... bar stools for my bistro table. After sales and coupon, they came to $17 bucks each! The transaction for two stools was made in two trips, since I earned a coupon on the first purchase that I applied to the second one. These weren't the best-engineered chairs in the world, and they required some patient assembly (due to the fact that they were manufactured to fairly loose tolerances by Chinese prisoners wearing boxing gloves), but they solved my need for bar furniture on the CHEAP. I heart you CVS. Next time, I'm coming back for booze. read more

I have been going to this pharmacy for 8 years and it's gone downhill. I requested a refill through the automated system on Monday with my prescription #. Waited a few days and heard nothing. It's Thursday and I picked up a medication for my daughter. At that time I asked Tanya about my medication (I used the name of the medication I needed). She said she didn't have it and I needed to call my provider and she also said she would resend the request. I called the provider. They said they sent it. Then I spoke with Jen and explained I needed the medication (I used the name of it specifically) and I wanted to know if they have the medication fax from my provider. She said yes and it would be done in an hour. I come 1 1/2 later and they Jen said my provider messed up everything and I can call their manager in the morning. They cannot dispense anything without an RX. She took my number and would call back. It is 7:20 and I have yet to receive any call, empathy or apology. I needed only one pill for the night because I have only 1 left. I have a chronic illness for which I take 3 medications for and I have been taking them for 11 years. I am also a nurse, I know to mention which medications I take or need refills for by their name as not to get them confused. So, basically my question is what is the point of calling their manager as I sit and suffer at night. In the end the pharmacy knew which medication I needed the refill for and the failed to refill it even though I did all they asked me to do. If they got the wrong med from the provider they should have asked for the right one. It's their job-dispensing medications. Bottom line, please find a different location for your medications in order to make sure they are handled competently and you get your refills on time. This location is not competent in any way and I wasn't treated well. They accepted no responsibility. read more

Arrived at 6:45.. tried to sign in online before leaving home but couldn't. Get there and still can't log in systems not working. No one there to assist but wait for the nurse to come out. She conveniently doesn't come out of the nursing room till just after 7 to tell us she's closed. Hours for the minute clinic are posted that they are open till 7:30z yet another horrible experience with minute clinic... excessive waits, issues with billing when you FINALLY are seen. I've even been turned away for not having insurance when they were 100% wrong, and later called to apologize for their error. (A little too late) Time and time again this place disappoints. Who the hell turns away a crying 4 yr old when your not even closed. Someone I don't want seeing my kid anyway. We won't ever be back, too many problems. read more

I have been using this CVS the past few months because it's close to my DR. Office, I am a Walgreens guy but it's just easy to come here. I have had HORRIBLE experiences with CVS-just the pharmacy, not the store itself. Rude pharmacist and techs. That are just flat out mean! Not this CVS-had a boat load of issues with my script this month and the pharmacist Megan was absolutely amazing! Such a nice person, didn't make me feel like an idiot and took the time to talk to me and smile and generally just be pleasant. If all CVS pharmacy staff were like her I probably never would have left! She even remembered my name when I came back in to get my script a few days later! Thanks Megan! I am so upset! I waited over an hour and half and I nurse skipped me! I signed in at the kiosk and it gave me my wait time so I sat down and wait over an hour and half! The nurse called the lady that showed up after me first. I told her I was there before her and she said that I never signed in. I told her I did and it gave me my wait time so I sat down. She was so rude and not helpful at all. She acted like it wasn't her problem and I need to resign in. The wait time was now another 72 mins. That's insane! I did everything right and I feel like they just blew me off. No kindness or consideration that I have been waiting for that long. It was so frustrating. Needless to say I will never go back! Their system needs to be checked and that nurse needs some sympathy! What a joke! read more

The last few times I have come in on a weekday about 6pm, the staff is closing. They said their manager, Kelly, left and there was not enough staff to keep the store open. There are transients outside, and multiple complaints from myself and husband to the manager, Kelly, have not taken care of the problem. Terrible management. read more

Today was my first experience with the Minute Clinic at CVS on Chandler Blvd. I went to the minute clinic based on a recommendation from my co-worker (after I confirmed it was an in-network provider through my insurance). To start, I did not have to wait longer than it took for me to fill out my information on the computer. The NP listened to what I told her, she did a quick (but thorough) health history, and after a quick check to confirm the diagnosis-I was on my way. My prescription was sent electronically to my pharmacy, got my printed instructions, and that was it!! I would highly recommend this fast alternative for anyone who, like myself, does not have time to schedule (and keep) an appointment with the doctor, especially for something simple (i.e. sinus infection). It was so convenient and fast. The NP was knowledgeable and very nice; she even gave me a recommendation to a specialist. I will be returning for my flu shot in a couple of weeks. read more

I have always had pretty good experiences at this location of CVS. This is currently the pharmacy I am using to fill my scripts and the pharmacists have always been very helpful and friendly. The overall layout of this CVS store is nice. It is really easy to find what you are looking for. There is also one very nice cashier who usually works nights and she is very friendly and we always have good conversation. Overall I would recommend this pharmacy to friends living in the area. read more

Went in there on a late Saturday for cold meds and hardly anyone was there. One customer service representative, Michael, came out from behind the counter and offered to help me with whatever I needed. Not only was he sweet, but genuinely concerned about the people who came in. I have now made this CVS my home pharmacy, and the people that work at the pharmacy are just as great as Michael. I wouldn't even give CVS Minute Clinic one star, had no choice in an effort to post message. This CVS Minute Clinics failure I have discovered was not just an isolated event for myself, it has happened to many other fellow employees as well. CVS Minute Clinic dropped the ball, big time! Minute Clinic is billing me $96 for services which should be billed or covered by my health insurance provider, but I can't get in touch with anyone to resolve this. Do I just throw $96 at CVS to make them go away, even though this should be covered by insurance? Maybe CVS/Caremark Corporation needs $96 more than I do? After calling CVS Minute Clinic billing phone number (866.389.2727) on my statement I encounter these inept yeah-whos in Oklahoma, who cannot answer questions, intelligently or provide accurate information, they have no idea what they are doing?? dah!# must be a vendor service for CVS, complete rude morans... As a benefit of my employers health insurance program, we are entitled to a yearly $500 discount on our insurance premiums. To qualify for this discount we are required to under go a  "Health Screening" process, done by our primary care doctor,  or partners Walgreens, CVS/Caremark Minute Clinics, etc. Caremark is also a partnered with provider with my health insurance. Although, my screenings were completed, my employer had began deducting increased insurance premiums from my pay check, due CVS failure to submit health screening completion documentation. After multiple phone calls to my health insurance co-ordinator and HR, they identified Minute Clinics communication break down, made corrections and applied my insurance discount. Very frustrated... I actually had a great experience here with The clinic. I made an appointment the day before, got there five minutes early and they checked me in right on time. I just filled out a small amount of info and got in right away. The doctor spent quite a while with me going over questions and concerns. She was very knowledgeable and kind. She made sure at the end I understood the treatment plan. My prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy and I got them filled within 10 minutes. It was a very smooth process and everyone was friendly and prompt. I would highly recommend them and I'll definitely be back if I need anything in the future! read more

Zero stars for this location. Horrible first time curbside order assistance. They never deliver curbside, processed my order wrong, charged me the wrong amount, supposedly processed a refund back to my card while canceling an order since they could not adjust the difference. She read off a computer screen with her back to my son and endless list of questions and checked off the items yes or no as we went through. Then diagnosed him with what the computer said which was a miss diagnosis!! It cost me $100 for this waste of time and money!! Great experience visiting CVS Minute Clinic to diagnose my sore throat. Clinician saw me 10 minutes after I signed in (Friday noon), ran a swab test and was able to confirm I did not have strep. Clinician was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions about strep symptoms and followup care. No billing problems with my BlueCross/BlueShield insurance policy. Good place to go for minor medical concerns when your primary care doctor is too busy and the ER is overkill. read more

Minute Clinic Review: Wish I could give 0 stars. The NP told me I had a sinus infection but that policy was they don't prescribe antibiotics unless you've had it for 10 days or a fever over 102. In less than 48 hours went to my doctor who diagnosed me with a sinus infection that progressed into a severe case of bronchitis which could have been prevented with antibiotics. read more

I went to the minute clinic at this location yesterday and i was very impressed. this was my first visit to a minute clinic and i have to admit it was probably almost better then going to my normal doctor. Given it was a weekday, so probably on weekends it would be way more packed. you go in and fill out your information on a computer and it tells you what # you are in line to be seen. i was seen in about 25 min, even this is pretty good considering even with an appt you make to see your reg doctor weeks/days in advance you still wait this amt of time or even longer. My insurance was covered here as well, which was awesome so only had to pay my copay. the doctor was probably one of the nicest people i have ever met(seriously, so nice that it prob would have annoyed you if you weren't sick, since we all like to be babied when we are sick it didn't get to me) anyway, she really was great and got me out of their quickly and had my prescriptions sent over to the pharmacy by my house so i could leave and just go pick then up. i highly recommend going here if you need to be seen on short notice, can't believe it took me so long to discover the minute clinic. read more

Don't go here! I went for a possible UTI and after I gave a urine sample, the NP told me she didn't think it was a UTI and that I should go to another doctor for a possible Infection. I went to another doctor and found out it was a UTI. After paying for the minute clinic and the doctor with no insurance, I am out 200 dollars. Waste of money and time. I went to this minute clinic on a Sunday. I saw a wonderful LPN and I had no wait time. The reason for my 1 star review? When I was seen I was told the computers were down and the LPN would need to hand chart. I saw no reason to be concerned . I finished my exam, was given multiple prescriptions and a note to advise 3 days bed rest for my employer. I went home, took my prescriptions, called my employer and went to bed. The next morning I called my FMLA to utilize my coverage, only to be notified that CVS had no record of my visit. As I type this, I am on hold, with Minute clinic, for the 4th time in 2 days to rectify this. Each time I call, I am on hold for 15-25 minutes and have to explain my story from the beginning. I can show physical proof that I went , but the lack of concern by Minute Clinic to fix this issue is unacceptable. I won't go back again and I will absolutely share my story far and wide. As an update I am still on hold, 28 minutes and counting. I guess I am going back, because I will just drive to the clinic and resolve this myself. What a shame that a medical provider feels this is acceptable. read more
